Stopped in here for breakfast after reading so many positive Yelp reviews. I am adding one more. I bellied up to the breakfast bar and ordered a chi tea latte. It was very good-hot with a shake of cinnamon on a good froth. I went with the special homemade corned beef hash with potatoes and two eggs on top. Served with marbled rye toast. At $18.95, it was a lotta food and made right. No canned ingredients. Great spot to have breakfast- a steady crowd was proof of that. read more

Best way to start your day Terri's famous cinnamon roll 10/10: Sweet but not sickly sweet. I was licking up the icing when I had finished because it was that good. There was some cheesecake flavor component to it. Griddle flight- strawberry Nutella, Boston crème, butternut pecan 7/10: Strawberry Nutella is a classic that you can't go wrong with. The service was great, and they were good at managing the large amount of pleased customers. What I appreciated the most about The Breakfast Company was that they had something for everyone. There were specialty coffee drinks (they even put a real cinnamon roll on their cinnamon roll latte), classic breakfast staples, and I also really enjoyed their pork breakfast tacos. Very disappointed with our experience here. The service was extremely slow from start to finish. I didn't receive my latte until I was already halfway done eating, and the "crispy" breakfast potatoes were anything but crispy. Our waiter barely checked on us and didn't ask how everything was until well after we had already started eating. A manager eventually came over to ask how things were, and when I honestly said "not great," she simply walked away without addressing any of the issues. It also took forever just to get the latte removed from the bill. To make matters worse, our server mentioned this "doesn't happen often," but the table next to us was also missing drinks and was halfway through their meal before getting them. Overall, poor service, lack of attention, and disappointing food quality. Definitely not worth the experience. read more

Diana was fabulous server. Restaurant is clean, nice looking, indoor and outdoor seating. Food was wonderful. I had a lemon curd french toast that was almost like eating lemon meringue pie. Wonderful. They have incredible homemade muffins. They cut them in half and grill them. Absolutely incredible. I had the orange cranberry grilled muffin. Visited this establishment at brunch time this past Saturday. Stood at front door for over 5min without anyone even looking up or saying hello to us. We had to flag someone down for a table. It was NOT busy. I've worked in so many restaurants in this area and that alone is completely unacceptable. Servers on their phones, behind the bakery counter chatting with each other instead of paying attention to the door. Next, server didn't come to our table for another 8 minutes or so. Sat there with no waters, looking up from the menu ready to order. Again, it was not even close to busy. This is unacceptable in service. Further, my friend has a HAIR in her eggs Benedict. We waved someone down to remake, and what appeared to be a manager came over and profusely apologized and said she'd remove from the bill. Waited over 15 minutes for her meal to be made. I was finished. Once again I will keep harping on the fact that it was NOT busy at all. Unacceptable. Lastly, our waters were never refilled, no one checked on our food when it dropped - hence why we had to wave someone down for the hair. We both finished our meals, pushed the plates away, cards out ready to go. Our server was walking around aligning chairs and on his phone and talking to other servers. Didn't even look in our direction, had to wave him down. It was NOT busy. When the bills arrived, the HAIRY FOOD was not removed. We had to wait another 10 minutes for him to find a manager and take the food off that was promised to be removed 30 minutes prior. The food is average. The service was horrific and completely unacceptable for the standards of the area. Experienced horrendous service at the Landings location as well a few months back, thought it would be different at this one. Was wrong. Management clearly does not care about their caliber of service one bit. Too bad. We will never be back. read more

When I arrived around 9 on a Wednesday morning, it was not crowded. Was seated quickly, took a little longer than expected to have my server come to the table. Once I ordered and the food was delivered, I enjoyed it. Kudos when ordering he asked if I wanted butter on my bread and I was able to say no. (A nice feature I thought). Found this place on Yelp and it was well worth it! I started with the cinnamon crunch latte and it was delicious. If you don't like sweets, I would not recommend, but I was on vacation so why not?! As far as food goes we both got the time two. I upgraded my French toast to the lemon blueberry (worth the additional charge). Everything was cooked perfectly and came out promptly. Our server was very nice and gave us a few recommendations as it was our first time there. We sat outside, which we preferred, however, I'm not sure if I would choose that on a busier day as there would be more foot traffic and the tables are on the sidewalk. read more

The sandwich was fresh and flavorful, and the side of loaded potatoes with bacon, cheese, and sour cream was the perfect touch. My husband ordered the Southwest Tacos from the lunch menu and really enjoyed them. The eggs, pulled chicken, avocado, and salsa all came together so well. I almost want to give 5 stars. Hubs and I were looking for a new breakfast spot. I love that we can join the waitlist from our home (we live like 5 min away). The place is small but has a great ambiance. And the food was unreal. Our plates were more like serving platters. The tables need to be bigger! I got the two timer and upgraded to the cinnamon roll French toast. My eyes got so wide when the food runner put it in front of me. The bacon was thick and crispy. And that cinnamon roll French toast is what dreams are made of. It didn't need syrup. Hubs got the ultimate and also raved about it. The only complaint was that our server was less than friendly. Beautiful looking restaurant! Greeted right away by the hostess and seated close to the bakery front! Feast for the eyes. All of the baked goods were presented beautifully! Our waitress came over right away and asked what we wanted to drink. We prefer a latte and soda. For breakfast we order the Times two. This was a cute place and outside seating. The service was pretty decent. The food was presented well and looked amazing, but was not very favorable. Mimosas were ok. Pancakes big but dry. Chicken and gravy- chicken was ok but the gravy was not flavorful. The cinnamon bun was dry- like a grocery roll with tons of sugar and frosting. The best meal out of all that we was the Savana Benedict and the Avocado Toast- although is was just fresh sliced avocado and tomato. My Cali omelet was missing its bacon and they very quickly brought me out a couple strips. All 3 of us loved everything we ate! The real showstopper is the BAKERY items, though. I didn't catch her name, but there's a red headed baker who really knows her stuff and is SO friendly. I'm dairy free and she offered to make me a vegan croissant right then and there if I wanted one! My parents got two muffins and two mini cinnamon rolls, and loved how freshly made everything was. If you're in The Breakfast Company and you don't go peruse the baked goods, you're missing out. I have tried this place a couple times now and I am a big fan. Good classic breakfast foods but also something with a twist if you want to try something new and different. All the usual classics available for the kids and picky ones. Also bakery in store with delicious looking pastries and cinnamon rolls I have not had the pleasure to try yet. Good news for Sarasota A great breakfast / lunch place in Bradenton has opened another in the Landings in Sarasota. I made my first visit this morning. It wasn't hard to find something to order, I went with their Havana Benedict. The meat for this Benedict is a garlic-citrus shredded pork, interesting. My Benedict was two thumbs up. There was quite a lot of the pork and any citrusy twist, including me squeezing a provided lime wedge, helped distinguish it from the usual Benedicts. The Hollandaise sauce itself was very good. This was a solid breakfast item, and I was happy I gave it a try. Not enough? They have some great looking bakery items on display. Calorie watching prevented me from trying one today. The newness of the place was noticeable, in a good way. Our server did a great job, the food took about 10 minutes. Our coffees were topped off often, love it when that happens. We had a comfortable visit once our wobbly table was fixed, and I look forward to a second visit soon. read more

As far as the breakfast was concerned - it was superb. I had a Cubano Bowl while my wife enjoyed their classic two-egg breakfast with a side of blueberry pancakes. The servings were frankly massive, and it showed up hot and fast. Honestly, this appeared to be a corporate / big box place but it was run more like a family business. I really don't know which it truly is, but they were hitting on all cylinders and we will definitely be stopping in again on our return to the area. read more

My wife's grandmother owned a bakery and this is the first time she's ever said someone else's baked item was better than hers. Mojo skillet bowl was excellent! Very favorable - although the Parisian skillet bowl is even better in our opinion. If you get the raisin toast with it you can spread some of the leftover sour cream frosting from the cinnamon roll on it - wow! The Times Two with brioche French toast was also superb. The brioche bread makes an excellent French Toast. The sausage links are the really large diameter style and taste very good. At the Bradenton location I've had the traditional Eggs Benedict and it was excellent as well (also see that location for more pictures, got too excited and forgot to take any today). read more

After dining here twice for breakfast, I'm super sad to have to head back home for at least another year. On my first visit I enjoyed the loaded avocado toast. It was served in thick slices on sourdough with tomato, balsamic vinegar, onions, feta. It came with eggs, which I ordered over easy, and a side, of which I opted for the lemon arugula salad. On our second visit , I had the times two with two over easy eggs, 2 slices of bacon, and 2 slices of French toast. Everything was delicious and fresh. My daughter liked her Mickey Mouse pancake and the French toast from my plate. Service was really nice and attentive, particularly when we came in with extended family on our first visit. Other items family raved about: the cinnamon rolls and cinnamon roll French toast. Both times we sat inside but there is the outdoor option.
