I get pricing before the process the prescription so that there are no surprises. They are easy to contact by phone and email. I had get to pricing for either injectable or troche so I emailed the dosage and frequency to the general email listed on their website and in less than 30 minutes I received an email reply from the Owner/Pharmacist with all pricing details and he reaffirmed the dosage/frequency. Once a prescription is ready to ship I receive an email with a link to pay for the prescription and delivery is always included. No extra cost for their delivery. With my most recent prescription, my doctor sent the new prescription to Val Vista and on the same day I received an text to pay online using the texted link and that it was expected to be delivered the next day. Being the skeptical that I can be sometimes I didn't believe that it would be delivered by the next day. Sure enough this morning, at 7:25am, I received another text that my prescription was out for delivery. I have used three other custom pharmacies in the valley and by far this is the best for customer service, pricing and delivery.

I asked the pharmacist if I was receiving the high-dose vaccine for those 65 years and older or the regular vaccine. After he told me I was receiving the high-dose shot, I told him that my gastroenterologist advised me to NOT get that shot. The pharmacist insisted that it would be just fine for me to get the high-dose shot, and said he could not fathom why my doctor would advise against it. I explained to him that my doctor wanted to wait for more data to be collected about the effect of using the higher dose on someone with my condition. Again, the pharmacist pooh-poohed my concerns and told me that it would be another hour's wait before I could receive the requested vaccine. I was now over 40 minutes behind schedule, so I agreed to the high-dose vaccine. I accept responsibility for that decision. But why was I not given a choice on the online registration? Why would it take another HOUR for the pharmacist to provide the requested vaccine. And why did I leave the pharmacy without any literature about the vaccine that I had just received? Needless to say, I do not recommend this pharmacy, nor will I return.

The self checkout lines are usually long, so I went around the corner and found an empty lane. Score! I was in and out within an hour and I didn't have any issues whatsoever. Unfortunately they always say 24-48 hrs and even afterwards will say out of stock. Huge delay for someone with serious medical condition. Whether it's a simple amoxicillin or painkillers they always drag and never remember me or my needs after 4 years. I will be using the hospital pharmacy from now on. They will blame it on being busy but do not care to call you, your insurance, or physician to get your medication in a timely manner. Do better Walmart! Your neighbors depend on you.

It's especially frustrating on days when it's super hot or over 100 degrees and need to find a closer spot so you can get inside to buy what you need. On the bright side, the checkout process was seamless. I headed to the self-checkout where an attendant was ready to assist, and I was in and out of the store in under 15 minutes.
