Paid $7,500 for 11 large home windows to be tinted...when finished, most of the windows had bubbles and other flaws...owners said to wait a few weeks to see if the bubbles would disappear....they did not...after two months the owners sent workers to replace the tint on all the windows...after the workers removed the tint from half the windows, they said that their tint was not a good match for our windows and would not advise replacing them...they said they would come back the next week to remove the tinted film from the rest of the windows and would bring a refund check....they never came back...I'm of the opinion that this company is close to going out of business...the workers said they were the only two left to do jobs, and that the owner said he could not afford to pay even a few thousand dollars of refund... read more

If I could give 0 I would. Initially I called saying I had found a Groupon but I was told not to buy it and they'd honor the price. He asked what type of vehicle and what time I wanted to come. No other questions and didn't even ask for my name. Thought that was odd but I figured it's a good price and to shake it off. I drove from Little Elm to Carrollton! (In the end was okay because I ended up visiting a family member in the area and having a full fun day with them) My wife and I pulled up and the door was locked. I came for my appointment and no one was there. I called and he said "oh the groupon?". I said yes and he said he could be there in 10 min. So about 15-20 min later he shows up. The second everyone got out of the cars he started raising his voice and complaining that I didn't tell him that I already had a tint. I was baffled at the way he was talking to me but told him that he didn't ask if I had a tint already and I've never purchased a tint so I didn't know that was an important thing to mention. He starts saying it's going to be $170 more in addition to the initial price of $100. I was very surprised because he was yelling at this point. I told him that it was his responsibility to educate his customers or at least ask the right questions. He started saying that it's ridiculous that I didn't know I had a tint. I kept telling him obviously I know I have a tint, I have eyes but how was I supposed to know that was so important to the point where he was yelling. I asked if he thought it was common sense to know this information for someone who has never purchased a tint before. He said yes. I told him I'm sorry but it's not because I know nothing about tints. I had to tell him to stop yelling at me numerous times. He told us that when you buy "Groupon" tints you get crap and that's why my previous tint had bubbled up. Except the tint is from the dealership and I haven't touched it since I bought my brand new car about 3/4 years ago. In reality why would you tell someone that when I found a Groupon for your business. So, you're calling your business crappy because it's on Groupon? I don't think he realized what he was saying. Obviously someone has an anger issue. I told my wife to get in the car so we could leave and he said he wasn't in the mood to educate anyone today. Except in sales that's how you make money, educating your customers. Never have I been in this situation before. NEVER give these guys your business! I brought "Big Mike" my 1978 Ramcharger to tint all of the windows and got it back without the front strip on the windshield I asked for. Made arrangements inconvenient arrangements to drop it off and pick it up again. This time he left a gap on the front strip about 1/4" on the driver side and told me that he did not have the same type of tint to do it over but I could bring it back a 3rd time to have it fixed. I called to schedule an appointment for the 3rd time and got Patrick who told me that Mike said that he couldn't fix the strip, the BUBBLES or the PEELING that started after 2 weeks because the truck was too old and "old trucks are not meant to have tint" $240 down the drain that I'll have to get a professional to redo. If your trying to get ur car tinted, DO NOT come here. I got my car tinted here, not only can they could not do there job properly, but they ruin your car and fail to own up to their mistakes. My first go at this place the tint they applied began to bubble in a little over a month on 3 out of the 5 windows they worked on , picture attached. I called them and they redid it for me at no charge. However, when I came back and they redid it for me, they managed to ruin the window seal, picture attached. When I confronted them he automatically said it wasn't from them and they don't work on the outer part of the window. He automatically came to the conclusion without even asking the individual that worker on my car. I have had this car for a few months, and when I mentioned it to him he asked where the paper license place is as if that makes a difference in this case. Ask anyone else who does tints for a living or simply look online on how to tint, the outside part of the window is touched multiple times. I went home and had someone else call him back to get the clear picture, he automatically knew what it was about and become defensive saying "are you accusing me" multiple times, every sentence he said. Please do NOT visit this merchant. They are more concerned with upselling and bait and switch than customer service. It is unacceptable to have reservation times restricted for Groupon customers when there are no restrictions mentioned in the fine print. Manager even tried to tell me to refund my Groupon and do a side deal directly with him. . . Only to have him try to bait and switch me again. I was recommended to come here from the dealership that sold me my car. The guys were great & super sweet! It's been at least 6 months since I got my car tinted & it still looks great! Unfortunately I do notice that there are bubbles still in my tint. They are super small & hardly noticeable however I hope I don't have issues in the future. Also the guy said he gave me the "darkest legal" tint allowed however, it seems light compared to a lot of other cars. The install was SUPER QUICK I would say maybe even less than an hour!! I rated them 1 star because they are DISHONEST. The tint job was good. Although, during the tint installation my third brake light was broken. They agreed to replace it but now three months later I'm still getting no calls back no replies and no third brake light. They upped charged me for darker tint saying that the Groupon doesn't cover the dark tint. I paid an additional $140 cash, no receipt. I bought a Groupon and contacted the owner. He told me he couldn't fit me in for two weeks. I told him fine and made an appointment. I told him great that was the only time I could do it since my son was still out of school. I then traveled to the business, after getting lost, I finally found it. There was a small sign on a glass door of another business. I contacted Derrick who was at this business ' Bavarian ' car sales. He told me that the Sun Masters was contract labor that ran out of his shop. Derrick told me that he was not there but was told that he would be working all week at the Volkswagen dealership. I contacted the owner of SunMasters. He told me he would be busy for the rest of the week and he could fit me in on Saturday. When I told him I knew he took the bigger more paying job at Volkswagen he got upset.I told him that the day of appointment was the only day I could do it. No apologies at all. When I mentioned I wanted a refund, he hung up the phone. Derrick says that this has happened to customers before. The only saving grace to the situation was the fact Derrick called in a favor and called another tint company( Surround Sound in Richardson). They got me in an 30 minutes and they did a Fantastic Job. Groupon refunded me the whole amount... thank God! I Would not Recommend this company . I give it NO Stars.. read more
