We bought an Ashley Cannonbrook sectional that was delivered in August 2024. Within about 100 days of normal family use, the seats were sagging, the cushions lost their shape, and one of the main seams ripped open so the inside material is exposed. This is not normal wear and tear for a new sectional. Furniture of Dalton submitted a claim to Ashley, but Ashley called it normal wear and tear and only offered filler and casings with no labor. After that, the store told me they could not do anything further to help. When I spoke with Terry Parmer, I did not feel like he was trying to find a solution. As a Client Relations Manager myself, the way this was handled felt very dismissive and focused on deflecting responsibility rather than taking care of a longtime customer. At this point I have had to go through my bank, BBB, and consumer protection just to try to get a fair resolution. All I am asking for is a refund and for them to pick up the defective sectional. Based on this experience, I would not purchase from Furniture of Dalton again.

Well done on both counts! The table is much nicer than the original - the grain of the top and leaves match beautifully and it's in great shape. The shipper wrapped it carefully in shipping blankets covered with bubble wrap - very thankful for that, as it was a wet day when it arrived. Wonderful service! I'm gonna scroll through the archives because they do maintain an archive of past sales which really only benefits them because they're not letting anybody know what they actually sold the items for. So the archive is useless for valuation purposes. But I find a Broyhill Emphasis piece. A line that's one of our personal favorites , and it has rather lengthy description accompanying it, explaining that "Emphasis" was inspired by Egyptian obelisks. Which is total malarkey!! ( lies made up to sell ) Really if you look at Broyhill's original brochures for Emphasis ( see photo ) they talk about the process of veneering being invented in Egypt, but they say nothing about design inspiration coming from Egypt. So if you have a company that's so casually going to lie about the small stuff what whoppers are they telling you about the big stuff? I wouldn't trust them. I bought another piece from them when they were in their Florida store and had to have it shipped only to find out that their restoration included a wood putty filled missing veneer spot that they didn't bother patching the veneer on. It cost me $200 to have the piece properly repaired. It was a $500 piece. And that was maybe about two years after they first opened in 2010. Jackie the owner is what the other one star reviewers say she is. Yes she's terribly condescending and she's rude. The review mentioning how she offered to reimburse a customer for their trouble and then told them two weeks later it wasn't gonna happen is dead on to that woman's personality. She tells them what they need to hear to get them off her back. Stay away from the shop online and certainly don't bother going to Chattanooga to see them in person.

They even did a wool serge (the cord-like stitching that goes around the rug) for $2.50 / foot which makes the rug look very nice. That price is also unheard of. Lewis (a local company) did cheap cotton binding for $5.00 / foot on a runner I ordered there. I found them just by googling "Fabrica area rugs" - and there they were. I worked with Linda, and she was very responsive to emails and accurate in all the details. She got me the quote right away. We set a delivery date. She helped rush it through a bit because another store had delayed me significantly with their inability to give me a price. So, I got a custom Fabrica 9 x 12 area rug for roughly $1000 delivered, when it was $1400-1500 here (and not even with a wool border serge - that made it around $1700 here). I love this place. Obviously they can't do wall to wall in another state, but shipping custom area rugs works quite well.
