I tried to communicate my concerns to the technician, but there was a language barrier as she didn't speak English. I spoke to another staff member who understood some English, but it seems that my feedback didn't get relayed to the technician, as my issues weren't addressed. One of the main things I look forward to during a pedicure is the massage, but I received very little of that this time. While I can paint my own toenails, I really enjoy the relaxation that comes with a good rub. Instead of a soothing experience, I felt dismissed when the technician laughed at my comments. We went around 5 p.m., and they were able to seat us together. I waited for my friend to arrive, and they accommodated us with two different technicians. I usually get the spa pedicure, but I decided to splurge and try their luxury pedicure, especially since I had a 10% birthday coupon. It was absolutely worth it! My feet were left completely smooth, with all the dead skin removed, and I felt like they really took their time. The technician even pointed out how much dead skin had built up since I hadn't been in a while, and she made sure to get it all. They have a large selection of polish types, and my pedicure still looks perfect over a week later. I don't have a particular person I see--I usually end up with whoever is available--and they're always sweet, gentle, and great at what they do.
