On Oct 17, 2023 Returned to Sun Stoppers Charleston to have to have front window film placed on my 2023 Lexus IS 500. Discussed my needs with Schane and elected to have Prime XR film placed with a 70% reduction in UV penetration. The film was placed on the interior of the windshield; the installation was undetectable and flawlessly placed. The 70% reduction in UV was immediately noticeable. I am no longer concerned with the effects of UV on my dashboard. As an additional benefit, my eyes are noticeably less sensitive to the sunlight. Amazing product and excellent installation. The work was quick and precise and my car looks great. I'm back today because I overheard Ron the owner talking to a customer about applying a clear film over the windshield. Come to find out it blocks all the UV rays and prevents the dash from fading and cracking. STAY AWAY!!! Owner will not honor the warranty. My wife took our truck to have the windows tinted. Not only does it not match with the other windows it bubbled and cracked. Took it to other shops around the area and they all agree with the very poor quality work with cheaper window tint used. Owner had an attitude and tried to charge me to fix his bad work. He will have to answer to the Better Business Bureau as we will file a complaint. AGAIN STAY AWAY!!! read more

I scheduled an appointment with Sun Stoppers in Mount Pleasant for Saturday, May 02 2015 two weeks in advanced. I specifically asked what time would be good for them because I had to drive all the way from Summerville. They told me 9:30 would be good and confirmed the appointment for me. Come May 02, I'm sitting there for 30 minutes waiting for anyone to show up. The shop is closed and I received no warning, messages, or anything. I tried calling multiple times and got no answer. I even left a message and no one called me back, even the next Monday. I finally called them and they very non-challantly said "I apologize, not sure why they scheduled you there, we had a big commercial job come up". They offered no sort of incentive to go back until I asked, and even then, I only got a $25 off offer. This is quite frankly, unacceptable. They have lost my business, and I will never recommend them to anyone again. You would think business nowadays would realize word of mouth gets around quickly. The least they could have done is informed me before I wasted my time, money, and gas. read more

We built a new home two years ago and had Ron and his son, Wes, to our new home immediately to apply film to all of our windows and attic space windows again.
