They were very organized and knowledgeable and were attentive to all my questions. Lastly, they made sure to clean up at the end of the day to ensure my driveways were free from any left over debris from their installation. Sun Up was not the primary installer for my job as I had been contracted with Semper Solaris. I'm completely satisfied with how Sunup performed the install and would highly recommend them for their installation services. To start with Konstantin is a really good guy and very knowledgeable on what he is doing. While getting quote itself I am impressed, because he explained everything and never in a hurry. And even after that I took few days to decide on whether to go or not. On installation to power on he explained each and everything in detail. On HOA approval some glitch so we gone back and forth on the design and more wait too, because of the HOA approval took longer. He is really helpful and worked with us to get the approval faster. On the installation it took about 8 hours for 4 men, it's a really big work. They did awesome and professional work to install everything properly. You can see the picture how clean they did. Also Konstantin was present in the site to see everything and he also worked with them to get the job done. Final words they did excellent and wonderful job. I would recommend and they are giving a quality product for lesser price than the other quotes I got from solar company's around. read more

Konstantin and his team was a pleasure to work with. The installation went very smoothly. Within about 1 month of signing the contract, the system was installed and passed city inspection. Konstantin's team took pride in ensuring the system was functionally optimal and also aesthetically pleasing. They put in extra effort to route conduits just the way I wanted. They also took care to add grounding stakes to my house in an inconspicuous location after discovering my house was not properly grounded. Konstantin was also flexible with coming out in the middle of my re-roofing project to get the solar mounts installed before the shingles were nailed down. Konstantin was always responsive and clear in his communications whether it's via emails, texts, or phone calls. He quickly provided a quote after an initial phone call and also revised it quickly to make adjustments that I requested. His pricing was also very competitive so I would highly recommend. I highly recommend working with Konstantin and Sun Up if you're looking to install solar with an option for battery backup. I talked in depth with 6-7 solar installers before going with Sun Up. We have a challenging home layout and location - a sloped lot set away from the road, nearly full sun on a slightly sloped roof facing northeast with limited space, and a main panel located in a detached garage ~150ft away from the panel location. Konstantin worked with me to come up with the best plan, visiting in person before I signed (this is rare nowadays), and iterating on it as we worked through the tradeoffs together. He's also a trained electrician, which was a bonus given our specific challenges. His pricing ended up being the best, and was all inclusive with no surprises (and I've heard nightmares from friends about what can come up). He was also receptive to my perspective, and super straight forward when discussing panel manufacturer differences, mounting options, battery differences, and relative value (his perspective checked out better with my own research than the other convos I had). We came up with a plan that optimized year round production, included some future panel flexibility, and would make adding batteries in our detached garage trivial as soon as we're ready to do it. When it came to the job itself, he worked really well with the roofer I had reroofing the house at the same time, as well as the GC and their electrician working on our broader renovation (including a concurrent main panel upgrade). He came in right after roof demo to install standoffs, then came back a day after the roof was complete and got the job done day of, with the panels cleaned, tested, and ready to produce. The installation itself is really clean, nothing out of place. He then worked with me to complete PGE sign off and ensure everything is working as planned. We plan to work with Sun Up when we are ready to install a battery system soon, and would recommend them to anyone. Top notch. read more
