I received an email from sunbelt a year later apologizing, ok..they are not good at that either. they explained the pictures i sent to my home warranty company created a problem with them getting paid, ummmm I did not send them, the other contracting company that requested the work did, yes I know it is hard for them to believe but, a licensed company was so horrified with the work they sent pictures because they did not want to be responsible. Then, they did not mention how they left me in 110 degree home with no A/C, I guess they still think that is OK. Then, they complained about the warranty company not wanting to pay them, well..FRANK I paid your company directly with a check to the technician about 75% of the bill, sorry if your work was so questionable you had to convince the warranty company to pay you but again, another contractor sent the pictures and yes, first time I've seen that so your work must have been worse than i thought. Well, I sold the house and the home inspector was horrified at the work Frank did! He said, "he left wires all over and they should have been put in a J-Box, this is a fire hazard". Lord have mercy, so yes I had to hire another contractor who also was horrified and asked if, I had a friend do the work and not a licensed contractor. I told him your name and your companies name and he said, "don't use them again". I laughed and said, "trust me, that will never happen" as I don't need houses to burn down or sit in a house with no A/C. After telling him what happened, anyone who used this company for any electrical will never pass an inspection. You stated, "my situation is being used for training", well...that would mean you are actually caring about doing the right thing and hiring people who actually know their limits, I hope that happens. it is more important to do the right thing and turn down a job your technicians are not capable of doing than worry about the dollars. I think you have lost the basic idea, bad service, bad technicians, bad follow up (a year later) will loose customers and yes, that means loosing the dollars. Wow! I cannot recall ever having such a great experience with a servicing company. I have contacted service companies in the past (through my home warranty) for plumbing, A/C, appliance, and electrical repair and have had subpar experiences as a customer. The technicians are late, rushed, rude, wreek of cigarette smoke, and sometimes leave the issue with only a temporary fix. So when I called my new home warranty I was ready to deal with the same issues I have had before. To my surprise, Dave called me 20 minutes before the scheduled time (1pm to 4pm window) to let me know that he was going to be arriving at 1pm. I am not used to having a technician show up within the first hour of the scheduling window. I hurried home from school and Dave had already finished checking my home's electrical panel. He was very clean-cut, wore a clean uniform, and courteous. He even bothered to remove rocks (from the gravel in my front yard) off his boots so that he would not scratch my wood floors! When I explained the main electrical issue he asked if there was anything else he should look into. Long story short, Dave did a very thorough inspection of all electrical outlets and wires that may be causing the multiple issues I was experiencing. He pointed out that because of the age of my home and the fact that most remodelers don't always follow code, it was a little more difficult to identify the root cause. Nonetheless, Dave didn't leave until he had resolved my electrical issues. He even answered some questions I had regarding fan installations and the home's electrical panel. I would highly recommend Dave and Sunbelt to anyone experiencing electrical issues. My power, including my A/C went out Sunday night around 9:30pm. I first called SRP who sent someone out (they did a meter exchange the week prior) to check the job that was previously done & the power came back on & they said everything was good. Around 1am the same night the power went out again, So I again called SRP & they said everything on their end seemed fine and to call an electrician. After many miserable hours and many tears trying to speak with someone from my home warranty company, I was finally referred to sunbelt electric. I first spoke with Candy, who was so pleasant and polite and her genuine concern for my concerns was beyond comforting. I am a little embarrassed to say I cried to her, but the hassle I went through prior to talking to her had brought me to tears & she made me feel so at ease. I explained my urgent situation and she managed to fit me in to the technician in my area's very busy schedule - I couldn't thank her enough! The tech who came out, Sam, was equally as helpful and kind. His positive personality made me feel very comfortable, and we shared the same love of dogs (Boston Terriers). He immediately went to work and within 5min of looking at my internal and external breaker panels knew the issue. He waited while I called SRP to have them come back out (as they needed to) and he waited for them and worked with them to solve the issue. Sam was more than helpful, he was kind, caring and informative. My experience with Sunbelt Electric, Candy, and Sam, was a beyond a 5 star experience. We have a home warranty service contract and were told Sunbelt Electric would contact us regarding our situation. They called within the half hour and set up an appointment for the following morning that fit my schedule. A power outage in our area had caused half our kitchen and rear yard sockets to go out. Frank called prior to the expected time to let me know he could be there within the half hour and arrived 20 minutes later. He was professionally dressed in uniform, gave me his card and politely got right down to business. I have 5 dogs which will bark incessantly unless one of the dogs "meets" the repairman. Frank accommodated my dog, talked nicely and gave him a few pets. Upon return to the bedroom with the other dogs they were satisfied Frank was a "good guy" and quit barking. He not only replaced a breaker and GFR switch but gave me valuable information and advice on other potential issues so that I could prevent a problem. We've had Sunbelt Electric over a few times in the past few years as issues arise in our 25 year old home and they always do a good job, however, Frank provided excellent customer service over and above just doing his job. We may not continue with our home warranty company but we are definitely keeping Sunbelt Electric's card handy. The are fast, fair and professional. What more could you want? read more

I don't often write a review for a company, but today, I felt very compelled to write a review for Sunbelt Electric Inc. . It is not often that we get to deal with a company that has Integrity, but Sunbelt is special. They have INTEGRITY! I had a scheduling problem and had to cancel my appointment and reschedule the same day. I was treated with a supportive, positive attitude, that was so nice. I was rescheduled quickly for the next day. When the technician came to my home, I was very impressed with the level of professionalism. appearance, attitude, promptness. They use navigation to let you know when they are on their way, and the Tech showed up onetime, with a smile. When I described the problems I was having with my faulty ceiling fan, the Tech went right to work and quickly knew what to do. In a very short time, I had the new ceiling fan installed and the work was done! I was advised of their quality assurance with my new product, and to be sure to call if I had any problems at all. Wow! So very nice to deal with a company that displays this level of Integrity in so many ways. I would recommend Sunbelt and I will use them again in the future! We are thrilled with the service we received from Sunbelt Electric. Our external lights stopped working, and we had an electrician on site who couldn't find the issue. He said we'd need to saw holes in our walls to look for the problem. He told us even AFTER opening holes in the walls, there was no guarantee of fixing it. When I called Candy back, I asked for a senior electrician to work on our house and give us his assessment. She dispatched Montana, and we couldn't be more pleased with the work he did. I would give him 6 stars if that were an option on yelp. He fixed all of the wiring issues without needing to open the walls. He replaced the timer switches that were fried with traditional switches. He even took time to show me how I could change back to programmable if I wanted to in the future. Overall, he did an epic job. He quickly and precisely fixed our issue. He had amazing banter with our family, and he took the time to answer all our questions. We'll be asking for him every time I use this company. For reference, we found this company through our warranty company, and I also left a message with them about how awesome our experience was. This company answered my rescue call on Sat afternoon and Frank arrived for the rescue on early Sunday morning. Frank is so courteous and professional that I have no clue why some other reviews were given him a bad review. Frank quickly diagnosed the problem to be the bad breaker and he pointed out the sloppy job done by the by the previous technician. It took less than 15 min for him to finish the repair and I am so impressed with the way he talks to the customer and how he cares about safety. I believe the previous bad reviews were due to incorrect work done by the non licensed electricians and they expected the Home Warranty company to fix these problems with a service call. Anyway this company has earned my trust in the future business. I am highly recommended Sunbelt Electric and Frank to anyone who are looking for eletrical work. read more

Our air conditioner stopped working on Friday night--we had an A/C repair company come out and said the A/C was fine, we likely had some electric panel issues. The A/C repair company reached out to Sunbelt Electric and I got a call minutes later scheduling an appointment for Monday. I knew we'd have to endure a hot weekend, but I had already called a few 24 hour electricians and they were booked, too! Glad I stuck with Sunbelt anyway! Jonathan showed up in the appointment window (after I received an email that he was on his way and an estimated time--he arrived right when they said he would!) Called Sunbelt after my AC went out in the middle of the night in an absolute panic. No one likes a broken AC while we're still experiencing our Arizona summer heat! The front office people (I can't remember the woman's name) were so friendly and polite--not that it would have even mattered as long as my AC was fixed, but it helped the overall experience. They helped get me set up with a time for the technician to come out that very same day, thankfully. When my technician, Frank, got there, he was right on time and got to work immediately. Turns out it was something way over my head about a breaker or what not, but he made it seem so simple! I'm currently writing this from the comfort of my newly cooled house, and I can't recommend Sunbelt enough! read more

Sunbelt did a great job on my electrical issue. Frank the electrician is punctual, courteous, efficient and really knows electrical. He listened to what the problem was, asked thoughtful questions, and got to work diagnosing the problem. Once the system was operating (grounding issues) he checked for other problems in the panel and prevented the next issue from happening. As a final measure he gave me some advice on the system for future reference. Sunbelt was referred through a home warranty. This was the first positive experience I have had with one of their providers, where I felt the job was completed to a standard that I would expect if I was paying the full bill. Frank, the electrician assigned to our service call was FANTASTIC. He does not waste your time, is professional, explains the options, fixed my problem, and is sending me quotes (by email) for other work I would like to have him perform. I have a Home Warrenty company, Fidelity. I called them for a GFI problem, and it was very easy to work with Sunbelt to send an electrician to my home the next day and I was given a short window for the morning appt. I am so impressed, that Sunbelt will be my ONLY call as long as they keep Frank around. I am a retired facilities manager of a large corporation. Sunbelt was dispatched to provide us service through our home warranty. Their technician COLE came out to determine why we didn't have power to our furnace and he found that a double breaker was bad in our electrical panel. The breaker had to be ordered however Cole replaced at least one of them so that we could temporarily use the furnace. Cole returned within days after the part came in and installed it. Very professional and prompt. I would have liked to have them do a complete rewiring of my home and install a new panel but they are so busy with providing warranty service they aren't doing anything else right now otherwise I would definately use them. Excellent company in every aspect! We had a appointment and they actually came out a day early. Technician listened to our problem (one electrical line in our house "dies" every time we have rain). He checked, replaced the GFI (it was cracked) and made suggestions for 2 outside outlets. Which ever of the repairs we have had power during the 2 last storms! We have a Home Warranty company and THIS TIME they sent us out the BEST! (Previously they sent out an electric company who told the Home Warranty company we needed our house rewired -- so our claim was denied, which we knew it would be). Frank was fantastic. I had some breaker trouble and basically the home warranty company sent me whoever they had available at the time so I was stuck with Sunbelt. I had not done business with them before so all was a mystery. Once Frank followed up with his service ETA and showed up a few minutes early I knew they were high quality. He took a 5 minute look at my issues, diagnosed the problem and installed a new system for the breakers in my box that allowed everything to work with maximum efficiency. I had a few electrical issues back in September and Sunbelt Electric came out through my home warranty company. They were very quick to schedule the appointment and were even able to come out the very same day I put in the work order (which was awesome because one of the issues was no power to my hot water heater and I have 2 kids and a baby at home!!). I had some trouble with a few outlets not having power and sunbelt made sure to set an appointment right away that fit my schedule. Sam was the electrician I worked with and he was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain basic concepts I probably should already know. A couple outlets were a simple fix, however, my microwave seemed to be a bit more stubborn. Sam made sure to take the time to find the source of the problem before recommending any other alternatives. He ultimately was able to leave with the microwave outlet working as well. read more
