The older sales lady in this store is very rude, does not speak to her customers nicely. They are equipped with many parts, and a variety of tools. Sadly I will never go back because of the way I was treated. I also phoned Sundance head courtiers and filed a complaint. read more

Would not recommend this company to anyone. We had them open our pool for a few summers until they stopped standing by their work, left our pool cover roll broken with leaves piled in the pool and responded to our complaint with "don't use us for service this summer you should get someone else to open your pool". Very rude owners who do not treat their customers kindly. We tried to reach out and they did not compromise but instead solved the issue by telling us to not use their company this summer for our pool opening. read more

Protech Pool & Spa closed our pool for 8 years without a problem. The last year they closed my pool, they broke the filter and cracked the skimmer from a too tight winter plug. When I came home and found the mess, I immediately called and was told that I had old pool fittings and their technicians were top notch and wouldn't do that. All I know is that everything was working and in good condition prior to them closing. The next spring I even purchased all the new parts from Protech but when I called for a closing that fall, they told me they don't deal with people like me because I blamed them and to go somewhere else. After 8 years of taking my money!! I reached out to them and reminded them of the amount of money I have spent in that store over time and they didn't care, just told me to find someone else. I told them that their customer appreciation and the way they do business was very poor. I also felt like I had done something wrong. The female owner of the business needs to value her customers and even her staff as I have witnessed her being rude to not just me but even employees, embarrassing them in front of customers. Pro-Tech winterized our hot tub, in the spring there was a leak, I called them and they claimed to be "overbooked" but would call us the next day to setup service. I would let it go for a few days then I would call again, they would assure me I would get a call back "tomorrow" as I have been there faithful customer for YEARS! 3 weeks went by out of frustration I called the Hot Tub People and they magically had someone here the next day! And after all that we were told the leak was CAUSED by Pro-Tech, as they don't use anti-freeze to winterize and only use air to blow out the lines. This was a month ago and funny enough - to this day I have NEVER heard from Pro-Tech. Please do yourself a favour and use someone else, someone who values their customers! read more

Used protech to open my pool this year: NEVER again! They left leaves in the pool and didn't brush the dirt from the edges of the pool! The job was so poor, we took pictures as proof because even we couldn't believe the type of job that they left! We gave them a second chance, scheduled them to close our pool. After scheduling, someone left a message cancelling us, claiming that their guys would never do such a thing (leaving the leaves in the pool) and that they "don't deal with people like us". So watch out, if you have a complaint about Protech, they'll call you a liar and never do business with you again. read more

This is a huge helpful warning to anyone and everyone thinking of shopping at this pool and spa store. Don't ! They are beyond horrible and there is not enough space here to list all the reasons why. The woman in the store ( owner ) belittles customers and has such a poor business attitude that would make most sick to their stomach to experience. How they are still in business is beyond me. They will treat you well until the purchase is complete then look out, because that's when their true colours begin to shine . Please take my advice and stay away from these people . The spas they carry are excellent but just don't purchase one from them. There are many dealers in the area that can get you the same products and some from outside the area that are very reputable . It's my guess this business won't be around much longer due to their incredibly poor customer service and obvious lack of interest and pride. read more
