I does take longer to heat up but it has performed well so far & we have been using it all winter long. It keeps the heat at 104 -105 no problem. Definitely a 5 star experience. I recently purchased equipment from the store, and when I needed help with an issue, the new owner redirected me to the manufacturer instead of attempting to troubleshoot or assist. His staff also gave me the runaround rather than trying to resolve the problem. I ultimately had to call someone else to fix it. If you're buying equipment here and are told it comes with warranty and support, be aware that the level of service is no longer what Tav and Frank once offered. Unfortunately, I would not trust this pool store anymore, and there are plenty of reputable pool companies in the Durham area that still value their customers.
