The sea salt cream black coffee is AMAZING and in my opinion the best caffeinated drink on the island.

I tried the coconut milk tea with brown sugar boba and then tried the taro milk tea with crystal boba. The tea is so smooth and creamy, both were delicious. The coconut was sweet without being too sugary. The taro had a subtle nuttiness to it and was excellent. My mom, who is not a tea person at all, came with me as well and is now a boba fan. She prefers sweeter drinks and tried the mango and strawberry milk teas and loved them. I was surprised because she has tried tea lattes in the past and not enjoyed them, but she said the fruity flavors were refreshing and sweet and did not have any of the bitter aftertaste she normally associates with tea. Both days we stopped by we were helped by friendly, informative staffers who clearly enjoy working at the shop and love their tea products. They offered great suggestions and were happy to answer questions about the different drink options. The second day I went, the owner was working and she was very nice. I'll definitely be making this a regular part of my routine and can't wait to introduce more friends and family to delicious boba drinks and support a local, female owned small business.

It was some of THEE BEST soul food I have had in a long time. Too bad I forgot to take pics of the food. I ordered fried Cajun catfish, potato salad and collard greens. The Cajun catfish and potato salad are to die for, you hear me???? The collard greens were okay but were not seasoned the way I would have liked. Also, they don't serve bread with their meals. Would have loved a piece of white bread or cornbread. My 14 year old granddaughter ordered fried chicken wings and was sucking the bones. She also ordered the Mac n Cheese which she said was to die for! She, too, felt the collard greens were okay but nothing to write home about. Neither of us ate our greens. We wanted to order sweet iced tea which is usually a staple in most soul food restaurants but at 2:30pm they had already run out. Also, we wanted to eat in the dining room but they said the dining room closes at 2:00pm :-( so we got our food to go and ate in the car. Mind you, it was about 90 degrees outside but we turned the air conditioning on in the car and enjoyed our lunch. Too bad I discovered this place on the day before I left the conference because otherwise I would have been eating here everyday of the conference.

We arrived a little after 10 and this place was packed. If you have to wait, you have to wait outside which is a bummer as it was cold but luckily they have a parking lot on the side. The parking lot fits about 8 cars and is tiny but it's better than nothing. We didn't have to wait long. They have a small bar area as well about 20 tables throughout the establishment. They have one of the cleanest old bathrooms I've ever been in. Our waitress was really nice and was quick to take our orders. I ordered the French toast platter which came with eggs, home fries and bacon for me. The eggs were real eggs which was a plus. The bacon was good as well. The potatoes needed some seasoning, as well as salt and pepper. They were lacking big time. Overall my meal was good. The French toast could have been bigger but for the price I get it. My wife ordered the Banana Foster French Toast which comes with a lot of bananas. Overall she liked it though. My daughter had the Meatlovers sandwich on a croissant. This sandwich was gone in less than 5 mins. She shared th same sentiments on the potatoes. Ketchup, salt and pepper are a MUST. Overall we had a good time and this will be a go to for breakfast over the expensive hotel casinos.
