Incredible find for breakfast. For a semi healthy and delicious breakfast I am confident, after a few days in town now, that this is the best option around. The setting is charming; burning wood fire under a large hut in the middle of an enclave in the woods. It's off the highway in a campground and the front desk clerk at out hotel hadn't even heard of it. The Buenos Dias was delicious as was everything else our table had. read more

Hands down the best breakfast in town and we hope to be back to check out the lunch options! The biscuit and gravy with egg and hash brown were indulgent, comforting and so satisfying while our group also enjoyed the Buenos Dias sandwich and the overnight oats. Coffee was great and there are also good kids menu options. Highly recommend ending with a shared basket of beignets as they are almost as good as the ones you'll find at Cafe du Monde in NOLA. The space here is charming and especially cozy by the fire. I believe there is only a port-o-potty for a bathroom, but otherwise, this place is a gem and will no doubt be a favorite spot for grub in Glacier. read more

Sorry for the redundancy... but this place was great. Nice and creative breakfasts, very friendly folks, and decent prices for the area. The hours are wrong on Yelp - I stopped in on Thursday evening and they are apparently only open on the evenings on Fri/Sat (not sure about Sunday - can't remember). I was a little upset about this b/c there really isn't anywhere else to eat in the area and I hadn't eaten since breakfast and I was having a breakdown. But other than that, this place is awesome. The ambiance is nice if you like outdoor vibes. So, I'm not sure if it's because they were prepping to close for the season, but the food was below subpar. My Benedict bowl had potatoes that were dark brown and probably refried multiple times. It was inedible and tasted burnt. The Benedict itself was missing a slice of meat. My sister's monte cristo seemed like it was just dipped in warm oil and pulled out. There was no powdered sugar. It was super greasy ... like you couldn't sop up enough of it with napkins. In places like Glacier, I'm used to having to buy overpriced, sub par food in the seasonally run eateries near the park. Not so with the Sunflower Cafe! This little joint tucked away in the back of Glacier Campground dishes up creative dishes at totally reasonable prices. After trying the food here once, I was not inclined to go anywhere else. Apart from the food, they serve excellent bottomless coffee in the morning. The ambience of the open-air dining area is lovely. It reminded me of great places I've eaten at in Latin America. The wait time for food is Latin American-style as well - it takes a while during busy times. But the long wait is time well spent as you can bring your own wine or beer and relax with your fellow campers on a deliciously dry Montana summer evening. read more

Sunflower Cafe is a funky little treasure. It is pavilion dining in the middle of a campground campground and I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first look but the food was fantastic and the staff was welcoming and delightful. The pulled pork was perfectly done, moist, flavorful, and not to sweet. It was expertly made. I also loved the location nestled among the trees. This was my favorite place to eat during our two weeks in and around glacier national park. This place is SO COOL! First, its an open giant gazebo type structure with a fireplace roaring in the middle and picnic benches-- so, that said, this is an outdoorsy almost camping eatery, dont come dressed to the nines (who would coming to Glacier, right?). The food was so delicious and the coffee bar had a great eco friendly set up! They close for the shoulder and winter seasons, so they are now closed for this year (its 9/2/2019), but if you visit next year CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! The portions are a little smaller than what most of what Montana offers up, but is normal to us Californians, so just keep that in mind for your expectations. Its inside the glacier campground, so look for the signs to that and drive on in, its next to the main office place in there. Park wherever. Highly recommend! read more

This place is in the forest, which makes makes it an excellent spot for breakfast and lunch outdoors. There is a central wood fireplace where customers can rest, eat, and stay warm. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and efficient. I only wish they woulda little bit later. Update: i retuned a second day and asked the staff to wrap sandwich well so it doesn't come undone during transport. The man placed my food into a paper bag, and I placed the paper bag into my backpack. Four hours later, I discovered the sandwich was very poorly wrapped in foil and it leaked the sauce into the paper bag, which broke and allowed the sauce to leak into my backpack. When my husband booked us three nights at Glacier Campground, we had no idea there was an amazing cafe located in the corner of the area. Terrible food and overpriced tacos. My family and I needed some vegetarian food on our trip to glacier and thought this would be a good place that will meet our vegetarian diet. Taco Tuesday food was of poor quality, overpriced with small quantities of food. It shouldn't cost 8 dollars for 3 4 -inch diameter tacos with some ground up brussel sprouts. We are staying at the Apgar campground and were just gonna go to one of the breakfast places in the park but they all lacked exciting vegetarian options and were pretty expensive so we looked on Yelp and found this gem right outside of the parks west entrance in the glacier campground. The owners are really friendly and the ambience couldn't be better for a lazy vacation morning. Great music and vibes. We got the A.M Bahn Mi which you can get with either the glazed pork or tofu. So fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself some grub here. We will probably be back tonight for their taco Tuesday, $8 for 3 tacos. Yum! read more

As I write this review I'm immersed in breakfast bliss. This place has some truly unique menu options. Luckily my girlfriend was more outgoing than I and got the A.M. Bahn Mi yesterday and the Buenos Dias sandwich this morning. I've never had anything like it! Apparently the cook is also the sous chef at the esteemed Belton Chalet down the road. No surprise, everything we've had has been is amazing. Come off the beaten path and try this place! It's in a campground just off the main road before going into Glacier National Park. Cleverly rustic - Log roof over a cement slab, picnic tables covered in mismatched fabric and plastic... I expected the typical scrambled eggs and toast kind of breakfast. Not the case! I loved the Buenos Dias breakfast sandwich - "House made black bean patty topped with two fried eggs, goat cheese, tomatoes, pickled red onions, cilantro, roasted green chile and chipotle aioli on a toasty torta roll" Delicious! I was part of a private group of campers (there was over 100 of us) in the Glacier Campground who had breakfast and dinner provided during our stay. I have to say, each meal was delicious and provided by such a kind, responsive staff. The salads were phenomenal along with the homemade dressings. Many of the breads were homemade (hamburger buns, bisquits, rolls) were so good. The menu varied each day with the staff meeting all of our needs very graciously. The main meals were great but the desserts were beyond wonderful - huckleberry pie with vanilla ice cream, homemade brownies, etc! Thank you! read more
