I've always eyed the dried fruit at the Nuts Factory in FH but never bought any. I have to say, they were really good and I have to go back for more! One staff member was inside the store, tending to all the bins. She was the sweetest and was just as excited about the chocolate Pringle's as I was. I'll be sure to go back and visit this location to try it. Also I love their little pop up nuts factory mascot out front. I think it's what made me officially want to check out what this location had.

The lady asked us if we needed help .. but we just wanted to look around before selecting. There was so many things we wanted to buy but we were actually on our way to lunch so we only bought two items... The chocolate is a lil pricey .. L got some Dubai chocolate mixed with dates and one with nuts.. We ate some later on when we got home... it tasted pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate but it I liked the three layers so it wasn't entirely chocolate...I did like the crispy part.. I'd def choose this chocolate over expensive brands from specialty supermarkets..tastes a lot better.

I like their sandwiches, but the bread is where it needs a huge upgrade. My most recent purchase was the Bon Jour, which had delicious thinly sliced ham, brie cheese, artichoke, and dijon mustard. However, for a sandwich named after the French, the bread is not befitting. If they can fix that problem, their rating would easily be 4 stars.

Entering the store, which is a long and a narrow yet fairly sun-lit location, the two employees seem flabbergasted. We placed an order online and I'm not sure if it's because it's the beginning of lunch time but they seemed disorganized. Then we finally got our sandwich and I said we'll eat right at the few spots by the window. Incredibly convenient. Asked if they could cut it in half since we wanted to try it fresh on the spot. One guy was friendly, the other was lukewarm. I had to explain, it's our first time ordering so will understand to clarify instructions in the online order to have it cut in half in the future. Besides the customer interaction, the sandwich is pretty good. Great crunch in the bread, ingredients are just enough (not like Stacked but good enough to fill you up). It's certainly a great option for sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Probably better to order online than in person as they can be busy just making sandwiches and not be able to tend to in-person interactions as quickly.

I…read morecooked for my friend the other night & he was shocked by "what an amazing cook" I am...joke's on him... all I do is add GPT's Coffee Rub &/or El Capitan to anything and suddenly I'm a genius in the kitchen ;) I have a TON of their spices, trying to remember them all... but my other go-to jars are Black Bear, Dracula's Nightmare, and Sedona Red! My co-worker is a VERY picky cook and is the daughter of an old school Brooklyn butcher; I gifted her some GPT spices over 5 years ago for a holiday gift & she's been a cult follower of theirs ever since!! I also love to send my relatives in California a gift card to Omaha Steaks with a basket of various Greenpoint Trading spices... its a hit every time! I don't write reviews often, but when you walk into their adorable shop in BK, you can't help but to fall in love with them and want to do everything you can to help the brand grow & grow & grow! If you're there on a weekend, you also may get to meet the owners (the cutest married couple) & their adorable little boy who pops in to say hello from time to time :) One last thing... I started following them on Instagram recently & get THE BEST ideas of what the spices are good to use on. For example, I would have never thought to put Coffee Rub on my avocado toast... and now it just seems like cardboard without it!!!

Waking to my vision center I stopped abruptly to re-read a peculiar sign advertising Bagels, Pizza & Sushi, all under one roof. The temptation was there to have a closer look at this odd trifecta, but it was not to be on this day. Today I walked into Nagilah Market to stroll the aisles and see what was offered behind the large glass paynes of the stores front which looked like a hybrid of Odd Lot meets Wholesale Liquidators with the window dressing of someone on a bit too much peyote. The inside of the store was disheveled and if you could make out any methodology of rows, your wiser than mouse than I as it felt like some experimental maze for humans. Items everywhere, pricing labels were few and far between and no logic to placement of anything. But after getting my bearings I began to fill my basket with many extraordinarily well priced Middle Eastern products. Cans of sardines, grape leaves, teas, spices, oils and more. Upon check out I was asked by the man behind the counter what were my intentions with a particular spice I selected. The other four men who were at the counter, seemingly all buddy buddy with the owner stopped talking to listen to my response. "Purely experimental" I stated as was the case. "Oh" he stated, "I thought you were a chef". Whatever the answer, he proceeded to take the plastic container from me, walk to a large area of loose spices and grounded me up a fresh batch. How cool is that? A full basket of cooking goodies ran me a Jackson and I once again have the coolest contents in my fridge of all my cooking buddies, for now.

The dessert was also delicious, fried biscuit with berries and the vanilla ice cream did not taste like something you get on the regular! The place is beautiful and we loved the music! I knew all the songs and couldn't help singing and dancing in my seat!! The owner greeted everyone and made them feel as if they were guests in her home! GO! GO! GO!

We had high expectations but when the salad and the half of a deviled egg arrived I was honestly surprised. The presentation felt cheap and the portion was super small. The salad barely had any dressing. The main dish I got was lobster - good flavor but overcooked and rubbery. Tiny portion that left me wanting more food. Hubby had the steak, they did not give option how you would like it and it arrived medium/well done. The portions were so tiny I was still hungry, for the price I honestly wish we went to omakase instead. Oh. And they automatically add 25% service. Owner is very friendly and service was polite but for the price it felt like we got robbed. Not sure we'll be back, really wanted to like it but the only memorable thing was the music and ambience. I felt compelled to review because I really wanted the owners to see this and make changes. The potential is there but with many restaurants around, there simply wasn't anything special. Pls be transparent to your guests and include info about prix fixe menu on reservation next time, and perhaps give your guests more value for the money. $150 should at least be 4-5 course for the size that was provided.. I'm so sad that we didn't like it bc we live so close :(
