My husband booked us two massages online, and unfortunately the experience was the opposite of relaxing. It was probably the worst massage experience we've had over many years. We both thought about completely stopping the massage multiple times. During my one-hour massage, my masseuse left the room 7 different times to talk to someone or answer phone calls. She also took 3 phone calls while actively trying to massage me with the other hand. After the third call, I finally had to ask her not to answer any more during my session. I was so appalled I even had to ask. It was incredibly distracting and frustrating. On top of that, the staff throughout the facility were talking loudly to each other from different rooms, and the phone rang constantly. There was no sense of a calm or quiet environment, which is the bare minimum expectation for a massage appointment. Ironically, once she stopped leaving the room and taking calls, the massage itself was actually good. However, by that point I was already irritated and unable to fully relax or enjoy it. Massages are meant to relieve stress, not create it. Sadly, we left feeling stressed, annoyed, and unsatisfied. read more

Visited Sunflower Massage again and asked for Jenny this time--what a great choice! She gave a fantastic deep tissue massage exactly where I needed it, and used a softer touch in the right places for a perfect balance. She even surprised me with hot stones on my back and neck--wow! It made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. I would definitely recommend Jenny for an enjoyable and effective massage. Hopefully next time I go, she'll be available again! read more

I can never know the names of masseuse as every time I have gotten some different for the past year +. The service is adequate, the installation is not glamorous but prices are affordable. I like they always have someone available (almost any time of the day). Some ladies are hard to understand and I feel that limits the level of massage services. Rooms are very tiny, but again, let's go back to pricing (not super fancy) but all good. They all are professional & sticks to massage & period! read more

I came last night with my mother and had an amazing massage. The place was very clean and well kept. I had the pleasure of being massaged by Alice and she was great. I despite being massaged with elbows because it hurts but I had told Alice and she was so friendly and willingly to give me a full open hand massage. I want to say the majority of these reviews are fake. The massage was horrible. I couldn't believe how bad it was. She did not know the difference between bones and muscle knots. I came out feeling worse then when I went in. I regret it. She did not apply pressure and not enough oil was a rough rub down. And to top it off! She had the nerve to say minimum tip is $10. I'm going to report them for this. Tip is never mandatory and let alone minimum. She told me to never come back again I am not welcomed and I will gladly listen. Please skip this place do not go here if you care about your body and your money, seriously the rudest lady I have ever dealt with. I left and I just wish I could of got a refund. Got the 90 minute massage for $70, which is not bad. The massage itself was alright, she got my lower knots taken care of. I just don't understand why all of the masseuse hang out by the couch at the front entrance area and were talking so loud! My masseuse had long nails although she didn't hurt me but felt all the jabs in between moving my legs and arms. I def wouldn't come back here. There's plenty of these types of establishments. Also on the way out she gave me the ugliest look for tipping her $10 trim your nails girl!!! Would've tipped you the extra $5 bucks if she wasn't talking back and forth during our sesh. read more

I had heard WOM that they provide a good experience. So I called them today...but unfortunately will not be giving them my patronage. They were so UNPROFESSIONAL. The person who answered didn't announce the parlor name, so I had to ask if I had reached the correct location. She didn't understand my question and just kept repeating "body massage" then muttered something in mandarin then hung up on me. What great service ?!?.....and now I am definitely not comfortable getting undressed and letting you touch me. Some of these low cost parlors are so professional and such a great alternative. Personally very excited that so many of these middle tier services are popping up, however if you're going to hang up on a customer in 5 seconds due to poor phone etiquette, I really have zero confidence in your professionalism and quality. Massage-fiends beware. For this type of place, you can find cheaper. If you want lower stress time and some resemblance of legitimacy, try 1 of the 20 places in a neighborhood. read more

The pricing on the Yelp/website account is not correct. Walked in for a pre-scheduled appointment. Was told they had new pricing for services. I always try to be kind and pay/tip in cash, but because the price had changed I had to choose a different service to respect the technician. I always tip 30-40% cash. It used to be a good place, but not worth going anymore. Ladies do not speak English there and they are very rude. I paid for 1 hour body massage but only got 40 minutes. Even so I still left $10 dollar tip just to be nice, but the lady seem very upset and ask me, "only $10 dollars?" Well, how much do you think you worth? This Massage place is a hidden Gem and legit. I have been coming for a year now and I never thought to do a review for such place until now. The place is nice and clean, and the lady is very professional and a very good massage. I usually get 1 hour body after a long day working. (Restaurant plus uber part time) makes my neck hurts and back sore. Just like any massage place, pending on who u get, my personal favorite is Angela. Minimum English, but pressure is good. They don't rush you like other places and no loud social talking and on the phone much, so I can actually sleep for a good hour. I highly recommend to at least give it a try! I went the shop yesterday and now My back is paralyzed. I cant move my neck around and my shoulders. I had 60min combination and male massager. He seemed good on foot massage but when it came to back massage, he just used his elbow to push down very hard without knowing where to push. After getting out of the shop, inside of both my shoulder blades is so painful that I cant even look up or down from side to side. Tonight I had the best experience here! My masseuse was Jenny. My god, hands down she didn't use her elbows like other massage places like this. She actually used her hands and kept asking if the pressure was good for me, which was GREAT! I got the Full Body Massage which was $39.99, not bad! I had the full body massage before and it was OK. The difference today is that Jenny massaged my whole BODY! Not just the back like previously. It was everything head to toe including my face! I'll be coming back for Jenny! Highly recommend. I came out feeling like a new person lol. My body feels great!! Sooo.. if you guys stop by here ask for Jenny 11/11/19 You guys. I loved my massage so much I came back. Monica is the best masseuse at Sunflower. She is so attentive to your needs, constantly asking you where you want her to massage more, or less, harder or softer. She is very adept at getting out all those tight or knotted areas on your body. Every time I go in I come out feeling absolutely refreshed and relaxed. If you're looking for a Burke Williams or Glen Ivy type of luxuriating, pampering experience, keep looking, this is not that kind of place. However, if all you need is a solid massage give this place a try. This is not a European style massage place like BW or Glen Ivy (both of which I've been to) where you go and spend all day lounging. This is Eastern style massage spa where the culture encourages more routine massages for healthy living vs a special occasion like it is here. So the beds are the firmer, wider Eastern style beds that give the therapists room to really work your muscles and leverage their (petite) body weight to really get to your muscles. They include some light stretching, scalp and facial massage which was appreciated. The rooms are more like cubicles with doors. It's fairly quiet and the clients and other therapists are respectful of others, speaking quietly not to disturb others. I have to admit, I was really hesitant when I first arrived, but I am glad I went. Nice way to end my weekend and prep for the work week. read more

These ladies are not massage therapists. They do not use their thumbs to get out knots at all. It's a 100% pressure massage. I'll admit the pressure in some areas are great but you can't rub back n fourth on shoulder blades bones, nor get knots out in that area or the shoulders unless you use your thumbs. First time here, 2 of us went. $20 foot massage. Most unprofessional place I've ever been to. No English at all, 20min spent just shifting us around the room and idk what even went on for that time. Finally they began to do the massage, and sadly it was way way below average. You can get really good massages elsewhere for the same. Tiny room that crammed both of us, and they shifted the beds around to make room to massage around. And there was constant talk and I felt completely unrelaxed and tense. Idk their names bc they never gave any. Unfortunately I'd have to review this saying I would not recommend this place bc the service was not relaxing or anything positive. I'm going to need to go somewhere else during the week to get a real massage. I've had so many good ones in OC for $20 that I just am very unhappy about this. I feel stressed and feel like I didn't even get a massage. I left very very disappointed. I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere. Not sure how there are such positive reviews. The BB and I have been looking for a new massage spot ever since our usual go to masseuse left Massage on Colima. We spent months getting rubbed, pinched, and elbowed to finally find this gem in Chino Hills, just off the Soquel Canyon Pkwy exit on the 71 fwy. The Good: *sorry if you're the owner reading this and I butcher your lovely masseuses names* -Jenny: Absolutely MY FAVORITE MASSEUSE EVER! She is attentive, very thorough and knows the exact spot to work out without you having to ask! -Mary: I think she's the owner, she massaged me once and I called to ask for her a few weeks later only to be massaged by Jenni. Mary would be the back up masseuse if Jenny isn't available. The Bad: as with most Asian foot/full body massage establishments there will be an obvious language barrier. I speak chinglish but was able to communicate with basic English just fine. The full body rooms are private, just be aware that there will be alot of background chatter in Mandarin and the shop's phone ringing. If you're ok with that, then book your full body massage already! The Verdict: You get what you pay for. $40 per hour for a full body massage. Don't expect much of an ambiance unless you consider some classical muzak on repeat in the background and the random shuffling of people walking through the hallway ambiance :) read more

She is wholehearted and will listen and learn about your body. What surprised me was that on some occasions, I could lock my activity by touching certain muscles.
