After complaining to my friend Leo about my ongoing sunglass plight, he suggested Sunglass Hut. "Sunglass Hut??? That 80's store?? With those Oakley Eyeshades??" I immediately felt doubtful, but since I'm frequently in downtown Naper and I could avoid Rt 59, I figured I had nothing to lose. Whoa. This place is legit. Gucci, Versace, Dior, Tom Ford, Valentino, Prada, Armani etc... So many sunglasses. So many styles. And yes, even a few styles that looked good on me. Choices. With a $150-$400 range, this isn't shopping for eyewear at Target, but you'll look magazine ready in these. And those $15 plastic frames aren't doing anything for your face, honey. Plus, they have a great policy that they'll replace your broken sunglasses at 50% off for 12 months after purchase. So go ahead. Do it. You can eat instant ramen for the next month if need be.

Dr Yun is thorough and has the latest equipment. She does all the testing herself. There was a slight change to my Rx. Calvin was very helpful and assisted me with selecting the perfect pair of glasses. My insurance offered a great discount and I'll be stopping back for a new pair of sunglasses soon. My new glasses were ready in 8 business days. I need to have a secondary cataract removed next week and I suspect my vision will improve even more.

A few thoughts about their decision to "upgrade" me without my KNOWLEDGE or CONSENT. 1. This special exam is supposed to be a contact lens fitting. I've been getting my exams and contacts from For Eyes for 3 years! I choose the exact same contacts as years prior! 2. The special exam was the EXACT same exam as I had at their Naperville location... only A LOT MORE money insurance wouldn't pay! 3. Naperville cost was $14. Oswego price was a whopping $60.00 out of pocket FOR THE SAME EXAM!! Read some of the other reviews on here about this place and their "special eye exam", it wasn't just me that got ripped off, seems they have a habit on doing this. This place has some serious management issues with how they operate. After my eye exam I ordered…read moretwo pairs of glasses, same prescription, because the reason for my visit in the first place was I had broken my only pair of regular glasses. I made a point to tell them this and that I couldn't see. I only had a pair of sunglasses from a few prescriptions ago, which is not at all ideal for daily wear. They said, on July 12 that they would be ready in about a week and a half which would have been around July 24. I never heard anything so I called them on that day to check and they said one pair had come in. Not sure when that happened or why they hadn't called me but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now it has been 2 1/2 week, I still had not gotten a call about the second pair and so I call them again and they say they are ready. For being a company supposedly passionate about people's vision, they sure don't seem to be in a rush to get you to see properly. If I hadn't called, how much longer would it have been? I'm beyond disappointed and will be looking elsewhere for my eye exams and glasses in the future.
