Hundreds of times. Hundreds of times I have passed Sunglass Huts and walked on by. Often located in mall kiosks with neighbors such as phone covers and toy helicopters, I'd barely given them a passing glance. None at all in fact. Everyone knows to look straight ahead and avoid eye contact when passing kiosks! That's Mall Shopping 101. After complaining to my friend Leo about my ongoing sunglass plight, he suggested Sunglass Hut. "Sunglass Hut??? That 80's store?? With those Oakley Eyeshades??" I immediately felt doubtful, but since I'm frequently in downtown Naper and I could avoid Rt 59, I figured I had nothing to lose. Whoa. This place is legit. Gucci, Versace, Dior, Tom Ford, Valentino, Prada, Armani etc... So many sunglasses. So many styles. And yes, even a few styles that looked good on me. Choices. With a $150-$400 range, this isn't shopping for eyewear at Target, but you'll look magazine ready in these. And those $15 plastic frames aren't doing anything for your face, honey. Plus, they have a great policy that they'll replace your broken sunglasses at 50% off for 12 months after purchase. So go ahead. Do it. You can eat instant ramen for the next month if need be. read more

I went into this store earlier today looking for a new pair of ray bans. The manager was actually the only person at the counter at the time and was a ray of great energy. She was so sweet and kind and provided such wonderful help to me for picking out two new pairs of glasses for my vacation coming up. Would definitely say this sunglasses hut will always be my favorite and have a special place in my heart. WOULD RECOMMEND!! read more

After an online purchase that didn't quite turn out to be what I expected, I attempted a return at a Macy's location and was redirected here because they could not process online purchases. This location said their systems were down and also could not process the return. For a store that seems to have a kiosk on every corner to sell their products, returning items should not be this difficult. This was my first, and last, purchase from Sunglass Hut. read more

I bought a pair of $200.00 sunglasses from this location a little over a year ago. An issue came up with the Sunglasses and I was told that the store does not keep your receipt or information for more than a year. I called their corporate line, and was not provided any help there either. Is it just me, or is it too much to expect help after you spend $200.00 on sunglasses? Putting the Naperville store on BLAST!!! I purchased a pair of glasses on 5/24. Diana ordered them online in the store and they were shipped directly to my home. I decided I didn't want them anymore, so I tried to return them to a store in Oakbrook. They said they couldn't find my order number in their system. A few days later, I tried going to the original store I had purchased them at and same thing, they said they couldn't pull up the order number. I called corporate who in turn told me that they would escalate to their regional office. 5 business days later and STILL no call back!!! Tried calling today and they told me to wait another few days for them to get back to me. An email was sent to the manager of the Naperville store. I tried calling the Naperville store with no answer three separate times!!! I just want my damn money back!!! Will NEVER shop here again!!! To be continued... read more

Worst service and experiences at this location. NEvER come here. Returns are not done correctly. They refused to give me back my original receipt with my return which had other items I purchased. They clearly didn't even want to do a return. Must hurt their daily sales. Both the store manager and the associate seem to know nothing about their business. Very rude and I can tell they aren't very competent. read more

This place is great. I've shopped at sunglass huts over the years in different locations and the products are the same but what makes or breaks a place is the customer service. Corporate policies aren't always customer friendly so when staff go out of their way to help you, I notice. I've bought four pairs of sunglasses here (two were exchanges) and they've been more than accommodating and patient with my fickle nature. read more
