Everybody is required to hand sanitize upon entry and each pair of frames is sanitized after being touched and/or tried on. The best part? The sales associate helping me pick out a pair was actually honest! She told me which frames were keepers and which did not look or fit right. I always get stressed when looking for new glasses since I never know what looks good, so the candid feedback and advice made this process a breeze. My new pair arrived right at my door in less than 10 days, and stopping back into the store for a frame adjustment was quick and easy. The frames I selected, with prescription lenses, AND with blue light filtering only came to $145, which is cheaper than what I usually spend when ordering from an optician's office, even after my vision insurance kicks in. Back in 2012, I accidentally stepped on my Revo sunglasses, rendering them unwearable. My eyes are…read moreextremely sensitive to sunlight which prompted me to visit this Sunglasses Hut. The branch manager just happened to be at this location and after picking his brain about the best lens for sensitive eyes, I tried on and purchased a pair of Maui Jim's. He was definitely a Maui Jim fan for several reasons, especially their customer service. The difference between them and my Revo's was remarkable. I purchased the wrap around frame with the bronze lens. I've worn them every day in the harshest of conditions, beating up the frame and hard case. Fast forward to 2016: during my move back to Colorado, I dropped them on pavement which chipped the lens. Normally this wouldn't have bothered me, however, the chip was in my line of vision. I recalled the manager telling me that Maui Jim would replace the lens for a fee. Two weeks ago, I called their customer service department and was directed to their website where I completed their return form and shipped them to Illinois. The fee for a lens replacement was $75 plus a $10 handling fee and a $3 return postage fee plus $11 to ship them via UPS. I not only received a confirmation email when they received my sunglasses, I received an email when they shipped. I was amazed when I opened the box today to find a new pair of frames, new lenses and a new case. Their customer service is head and shoulders above the rest!! I am a Maui Jim customer for life!!
