I had to walk to the other end of the mall to find a restroom. When I returned, I was soaking wet from sweat, with cold air conditioning blowing on me while I was waiting, I thought I was gonna freeze to death. Will probably develop a cold because of this. After we sat there for a while and filled out the forms the receptionist What did the form and said that the doctor could not see us today because I had diabetes and mobility problems. She recommended a place right across from them, and they couldn't see me today either. I searched on America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses- they could not see me either. While waiting for them to cut lenses Peter gave great recommendations to a Nepalese joint! And then upon returning to pick up my eye ware I saw a pair of sunglasses and they were able to put my prescription in them. I can't wait to come back and try on the sunglasses when they're ready! I booked an appointment with See and Co. and met with Dr. Emily and her kind and attentive staff. Dr. Emily inspected my eyes and conducted a series of vision tests with me which entailed reading various letters on a screen in various sizes and clarity. In the end, she confirmed that not much had changed if at all. However, she recommended that I choose a slightly lighter prescription in one of my lenses in order to reduce the effects of stigmatism which resulted in less dizziness while wearing glasses. I like the fact that she was very detailed and tried to recommend the best solution that suited me. I was in good hands. In addition to the personalized service, See and Co. offers very high quality name brand frames. I tried some of them on until we found the right one, an aviator-type with metal frame. And due to Covid, there was a system for sampling the frames. After each sampling, the frames were placed in a basket and ready to be sanitized before being touched by the next person. In addition to that, all of the staff was wearing masks. I felt safe knowing their Covid procedures were in effect. Moving on.. my frames were made onsite so I got them sooner rather than later! I'm very happy with the quality of the lens which were made to block both UV and blue light. It's very unique in that it somehow makes everything look a little brighter and a little more pleasant.. even on darker rainy days. I'm not sure what causes that, but it's awesome. My frames also came with a magnetic attachment which enables it to double as sunglasses. You just place the shades on the front of the frames and it stays.. very convenient. Overall, I highly recommend See and Co. and Dr. Emily. Had an awesome experience here.

He was a…read morenice worker, very knowledgeable, and helped adjust the nose pads and tightness of my frames very fast. He was respectful and patient with me trying on my frames. I feel bad for that man as most of his co-workers are nothing like him--they are rude, impatient, and, worst of all, condescending. Take for instance this past Sunday when I went to them for a tightening of the screws in my eyeglass hinges because they were getting too loose. After extensive, brazen lying that there was no way to tighten the screws, and that I was over-reacting, I realized the problem was not going to get fixed and went away. Later, I purchased precision screwdrivers myself and fixed the problem myself. So much for "the screws on your frames can't be tightened!-eh??" What a load of baloney.

Very bizarre experience with this shady practice. I purchased a new pair of Oakley glasses frames…read moreonline and dropped them off at Modern Optometry to have lens created and inserted into the frames. I paid over $300 for this process. Two weeks later, I received a phone call informing me that their lab BROKE the glasses frames. I asked how to remedy the situation and was informed that they were not responsible for the broken frames because I signed a waiver. Huh? So, essentially, I was out of luck and out of a new pair of beautiful glasses frames. The sales person (Amanda?) said she would email pictures of the broken frames. Two weeks went by and still no pictures. I called again and spoke to this sales person, and she informed me (in a very awkward manner) that she received "undeliverable" messages from my email address (which I've had for over 10 years.) So, I asked her to email the pictures to my work email address...and to this day, still NO pictures. She ended up refunding me the $300 for lens insertion. However, I am out a pair of new glasses frames without any real proof they were broken. What happened to my glasses frames? Did they lose them? Did somebody steal them? Totally unacceptable, and very shady business practices. I would not recommend this store.
