I went to Sunland coin laundry a year ago. The facility was dirty. The washing machines stunk of cheap laundry soap n mold . However, I was desperate and out of time to get MY RUGS washed so I revisited the shop just recently. Much to my surprise the place had a new owner. As I walked in, it smelled very inviting. The floors were clean and the machines no longer had a horrible order. The owner came over to greet me. He is young, ambitious and friendly. I felt like I was at home doing my laundry with a friend I had known all my life. I highly recommend Sunland coin laundry, where you can bring ALL OF YOUR CLOTHES to wash n dry! I forgot to bring MY COINS however, they have a machine that will convert your dollars into coins. read more

Came here pretty late and the owner let us in! Clean machines, clean dryer, friendly faces. Bathroom is clean and they have a vending maching in case you get thirsty. When our dryer went out I needed to finish our laundry somewhere and this place is close to home. I went on a Sunday afternoon, not too busy at all. I didn't have cash and there's no ATM so I needed to run to B of A first. There's not much seating, and limited parking, but there is a soda machine with Diet Coke and it's clean. THE BEST LAUNDROMAT IN TOWN. This laundry mat is under new ownership and it's the best thing that has happened to this place. I've been to other places in the area and nothing compares. The new owner Alex is so welcoming, he makes sure to help you out if a machine isn't working and always finds a solution. The place is always clean, the prices for the washes are way reasonable, and there's plenty of space to fold your laundry (this is huge.) Clean, Clean, Clean, Clean, Clean I rate this place 5 Clean Stars 1. For having a clean facility. The place is always clean. The floors are always swept, and the counters are spic and span. Bathroom is also clean. 2. For their fluff and fold service. When I'm in a bind and no time to do my laundry, they offer fluff and fold service at a reasonable price. They call me when my laundry's done and my clothes were nicely folded. 3. For clean and functional washers and dryers. I love that there are designated machines for rugs, carpets, and mats. Animal and dog paddings also have their dedicated machines. This keeps everything clean. Their machines are serviced frequently, so every machine seems to run efficiently. They also have mega loaders that fits 2 or 3 comforters at a time. 4. For the free wifi. The wifi has strong and clean signal. This makes everything convenient. I either entertain myself or do some work while waiting for my laundry to dry. 5. Lastly, for great customer service. I love it when the Filipina lady is there. She's so helpful, nice, and friendly. She's very accommodating and always smiling. She's your typical auntie. Sometimes she has some yummy Filipino treats. She's simply awesome. I do recommend this place if you like things to be... If you see a older Hispanic lady with short hair (looks like Yolanda Saldivar) working leave! The machine ate my Quarters and she refused to give me my money back & insinuated I was a liar when I told her the other Asian lady that's usually there when I go always gives me my quarters back. (Which she does!) Never going there again if she is working. Clearly she needed the $4.50 more than me so I decided to not bother arguing with grandma. If you like to be robbed of your quarters go here.. Most of the machines are out of order most of the time or don't dry well. Looks like I will have to go find another local Laundromat moving forward. read more

Well I guess my previous review was about how people act different, and come to find out if I'm not mistaken the last person who I had an issue at this location with quit or was fired. Maybe there were the previous owners and had a attitude before they left. But the latest employees they have are so welcoming! And very helpful! If there's a problem with the machines they will figure it out for you. The washers work well always! If it's broken or something is wrong you will either be compensated or justified that you put too much soap, lol. Like this one older guy who thought he was the shiznit telling me not to use their new machine. He kept insisting that its broken. From the looks of his clothes he didn't know how to use a laundry machine either, so with the sweet lady who works there daily comes and tells me he put too much soap so not my problem just his! Love doing my laundry here every Saturday morning! *Little note to the owners. The machines that are on the wall with the new hookah lounge next door have an odor that stays with the clothes when you dry them. And that odor was never there before this hookah lounge or whatever they call it. Hopefully one day you will notice it cause I don't use that side and fabric softener doesn't keep its smell using that side FYI. read more

I lost 75 cents in another washing machine which had started already, because the machines are very similar and it was my first time in this coin laundry. I told the manager a refund. She only gave me 25 cents back to complete the money one machine needed to statt. However there still was $1 missing to to do the drying, which she refused to give back. Maybe she tought I lied to her about the 75 cents. Anyway, I had to travel to the closest Vons to get the extra dollar, because the closest Wells Fargo is in Tujunga. Not coming back here read more

Definitely the best coin laundry out here. My aunt has gone for the fluff and fold service and she loves how organized and nicely the clothes are folded. This place is good! The owner is sweet and hardworking.. this place is always clean and the bathrooms are clean. It's a decent price and there's plenty of parking. The helper lady is tall kinda big Hispanic lady.. she isn't the sweetest but If u have an issue she'll help you take care of it. Also wear your mask or she'll be annoyed you're not wearing one and she'll ask you to put one on. Also I've never had an issue with my stuff going missing if I leave to run errands! Awful place. The machines barely work and the workers there are even worse. The driers take over an hour at the maximum heat to dry off 4 pairs of jeans. And the washing machines dont even clean mild dirt. I wont be coming back and id recommend no one else to wash here unless you like rude staff, broken machines, and a dirty environment read more

So I was washing my clothes at home and then midway my dryer broke so I took all my clothes and brought it here to just dry , and the owner she walked up to me and asked if I washed my clothes here and I said no I'm only drying because my dryer just broke and she told me to take my clothes out and to leave because only people who wash their clothes here can dry them , so I told her that's not fair this is a coin laundry place where everybody and anybody can come wash and dry their clothes and only because I didn't wash them here she's kicking me out. I went down there at 8pm with tons of blankets to wash, asked an employee if I would have enough time to wash everything they saw that I had, and she said yeah. So I proceeded to spend $50 washing and drying, only to have them start pulling all of my things out of the dryer while they were still finishing drying, without any warning they were closing. I didn't see that they closed at 10 but I thought they would've told me if I didn't have enough time when I asked or given their customers a 10 minute warning at closing time. They didn't even give me a chance to take my things out on my own before I realized they were pulling my things out without asking. Some of my things got dirty from where they tossed them, and I had to quickly pack up my damp laundry while they were rushing me out. They were very rude. I worry they only said I would be able to finish because I was clearly going to be spending a lot of money washing all of my items, and they never intended to let me finish drying. Either way, it's bad business. I regret giving them my business and don't see how I would ever return. read more

I try to go only when the man is there- he is super nice and very helpful- but the lady----OMG----horrible service and has an attitude - I have seen her kick out people 15-20 minutes before closing time- always responds with an attitude and does not help - she acts like she can hear you and walks away- I will never come back to this laundry mat - she is very unprofessional. read more

My dryer broke so I called this laundromat to see if I can just dry my clothes. The lady who answered said last wash is at 8:30. I told her I don't need to wash, only dry. So I arrived at 8:25 and she intentionally locked up early to prevent me from drying my clothes. When I try to talk to her through the window she refused to talked to me. I love using their 75lb washer and the place is clean. The also offer Fluff and Fold service.

I'm used to pricier places when it comes to saddle pads, but this place is awful. The washers were all tiny and only washed for 20 mins. The woman refused to break my $20, as did everyone in the immediate area. She also told me if I wanted to wash my pads, I'd have to do them individually, and at almost 2.00 a load. She finally let me use the big machine (which was 4.00 for 20 minutes) for them, but she didn't let me throw them in the dryer even though they were dripping wet when they came out. Lesson learned, never coming here again read more
