They have real superfoods and nutritious smoothies that will satiate and boost your wellbeing. The service was prompt and nice. While my smoothie was being made, I walked around the store to check out their items for sale. In addition to serving fresh smoothies and bowls, they also have a variety of supplements and other wellness items. I tried the Wolverine Smoothie and was really impressed by how delicious and filling it was. It was smooth, velvety and satiating. Been here twice but it was my first time at this location. The first time I went was several years ago. No change. The smoothies are more like sorbet and the bowls are topping heavy. It's not my favorite place because the smoothie portion of the bowl is bland and boring for me. The bowls are filled to the brim with toppings that hover over the edge which make it very difficult to get the spoon in to scoop up both the toppings and the smoothie together. Both times I had to eat the toppings first just to get to the smoothie at the bottom of the bowl. The toppings and the smoothie are not in proportion. The shape of the bowl needs a major update because I lost a lot of toppings. It's extremely difficult to get the spoon in without the toppings falling off. I've tried some other local places (see reviews ) but this one has a broad selection of items compared to those, which I like. South Bay is a chill, mainly boomer retiree area which I was born & raised and I'm glad it's FINALLy starting to expand its tastes from greasy spoons and coffee shops to more healthy places like Sun Organic and Pressed Juicery, to name two which were more of the hip & healthy Venice area; but finally making their way south. If you're looking for an alternative to "Jamba", "Nektar", and "Vitality Bowls", then I highly recommend checking out "Sunlife Organics". The majority of their brick-and-mortar locations are in California (mainly in LA) but also in Floirda, Illinois, Nevada, Tennessee, and Texas. As far as their selection, it is vast with dozens upon dozens of items to choose from. You have your choice of creating a customizable shake, fruit smoothie, bowl, shot, coffee/tea, pressed juice, and a respectable amount of food. Orders can be submitted online or during your visit while in the store. The location I am focusing on is along Santa Monica Blvd. inside the Westfield Century City outdoor shopping mall in Los Angeles, CA. This location has been in operation since 2018 while Sunlife Organics started as a company in 2011. I came here during the morning of Saturday 7/27/2024 at around 11:35am. Parking can be found in one of the many levels in this upscale shopping center and if you happen to bring your vehicle here, you are given the first 2 hours free to shop, eat, and enjoy your time here. The hours are 8am-8pm seven days a week so you can more or less get what you want anytime of day. The interior of this place is quite spacious with plenty of room to enjoy your food or drink. What I particularly liked was their merchandise walls where you can purchase hats, clothes, books, protein powders, candles, and other unique items. They also have dedicated salads-to-go, pastries, bottled juices/waters, and other various snacks for sale. After narrowing down the menu, I finally settled with the "Hawaiian Bowl" (priced at $13.95). This included açai sorbet topped with granola, bananas, strawberries and coconut shreds. Total time from ordering to receiving my bowl only took about 5 minutes. As far as the overall taste, everything was delicious and very fresh while being a very large serving which gives you your money's worth. However, it lacked with the base toppings as there wasn't any peanut/almond better, honey, chia seeds, or other added necessities that I've had at other similar places. Not a big deal but this was more plain than expected. But it was very good while the service, ambiance, and prices were quite reasonable. I've always loved the idea behind SunLife Organics high quality ingredients and a focus on wellness. But my experience yesterday at the Century City was really disappointing. I ordered two matcha lattes with honey -- $22 total. For that price, you'd expect quality and basic customer service. Instead, I got the opposite. First, the staff was rude. I greeted her when I walked in, and she just said "good" then immediately told me, "you have one minute to order because we're closing." No hello, no friendliness. That set the tone. Second, the way the drinks were made was shocking. Instead of preparing the matcha properly (with hot water and a whisk), she dumped milk, a little bit of matcha, and some white powder into a blender, made both drinks at once, and poured them out. A huge amount of matcha was left behind in the blender -- so basically I paid $22 for two cups of milk with barely any matcha. The taste was disgusting and nothing like what a real matcha latte should be. This is not a smoothie bar where you blend everything together -- it's supposed to be a premium place with "the highest quality." If I'm paying top dollar, I shouldn't be walking away with watered-down drinks and attitude from staff. And this isn't just with matcha. Their smoothies also always have so much left in the jug, which means customers aren't even getting what they're paying for. SunLife charges luxury prices but cuts corners on preparation and customer service. Totally unacceptable. If you value your money and your experience, I'd think twice before coming here. read more

Every menu item and every design of the location at SunLife Organics are super unique and distinctive to the restaurant's branding. The workers giving positive recommendations on their favorite menu items and substitutions. Note that Century City is probably the best of the locations when it comes to customer service. I've heard about some not-so-great incidents in other spots! As for what I usually get, I like to keep things simple! My most recent visit was just a hot chocolate fix (rich and delicious, but not very sweet). I have gotten their simple vegan protein smoothies with blue majik powder, their mint chip smoothie (to die for), and their Hawaiian Bowl! Their smoothies are amazing but I do want to try more bowls--one of the workers was preparing a Bliss Bowl that looked superb! This place receives 3 stars from me just because the service isn't super fast and the products--including what is sold on shelves--are remarkably expensive. They actually don't have wifi, which is going to be my first comment, but I think it's because they want to encourage being in the present. However for my needs, I tend to need wifi especially when I am working out of a coffee shop! The drinks are pretty pricey, but they have a number of very interesting items. I got mushroom mints for my friend's birthday, and that cost around $20, but definitely made for a great birthday gift. I believe their ingredients are high quality-- therefore the prices of the drinks and products are on the higher end. There's a lot of merch inside, and it's fun to browse around. I recently starting regularly visiting Sunlife both at Century City and Malibu and it is now my favorite juice/smoothie/bowl spot in LA. The staff is always super friendly and helpful in finding what is right for you each time. My favorite items to order now are the "Fountain of Youth" smoothie ($11.95) and the "Brazilian Bowl" ($12.95). Although the items are pricier and the items typically take a longer time to come out than most places, the quality and taste are worth it. There is a significant difference between Sunlife and comparable places all throughout West LA. I hope to get through more of the menu soon and try everything! read more

Edited: got sun life at century city a second time -- the bliss bowl. The bowls are sweet and taste like dessert, they load a good amount of toppings on there so if you're health conscious just be mindful of the portion sizes. I had the avocado toast and I wish I got it without balsamic glaze because it felt like a lot of sauce / oil on the avo toast. It was pretty average, would probably get avo toasts somewhere else. Not bad though. Love the vibes and the energy in the shop! Delicious bowls - I had an acai bowl and it was really good. They put a ton of toppings on there, I feel like they overdid the granola and the coconut meat but overall it was good. It's sweeter than some other acai blended bowls, like the ones from pressed. I think their bowls are better than pressed. As with most commercial bowls I feel like the portion sizes sometimes may be larger than what is healthy but the bowl itself was satisfying and is a great option for dessert! read more
