Great service and quality every time but this review is mostly about the memberships. I've been getting ice cream here for years with an account for points but not the VIP membership for discounts. I decided to inquire about the membership and the math makes it a no brainer. The $10 monthly fee is loaded straight into your account and doesn't expire. So going just once a month with a friend will use that and more. Maybe it's a coincidence but I also got the largest ice cream on this visit that I signed up. Arrived 5 minutes before closing, and the door was already locked. The worker was already closing and cleaning the floors. she graciously opened the door for us to get some ice, cream, but proceeded to prepare our food with no gloves and dirty hands from cleaning the floors. I haven't had pressed juicer usually at this location but recently found it convenient because of parking. I have been here 3-4 times and every time I get a freeze I get a small cup but I don't know why they don't fill it like they used to. What they're advertising in the pictures is completely different from what you actually get. *This review is purely for the staff and freeze.* I was greeted right as I walk in, in a friendly manner that wasn't robot, which is great. After being asked what they can get for me I told the person at the counter I just needed a second to decide if I wanted the vanilla or strawberry and she immediately asks if I wanted to sample. Yes! Great that she asked since I'm such a Libra. I never think to sample and most times I'm weighing it out in my own head. After placing my order I didnt have to recap my order for the nice cashier. They actually communicate with each other. He simply asks if there is anything else he can get me and if I would like napkins. So mad props to the staff for being warm, professional and efficient. They don't make you feel like you are wasting their time and not trying to rush you out of the door. I ordered the strawberry (forgive my forgetfulness) freeze with a granola drizzle, marshmallows and crunchy bits from a menu that was posted in- store. This was excellent! I even had to sit down at the patio to enjoy it instead of whisking myself away into traffic. It was so good! Creamy freeze texture and the granola drizzle was super tasty has a wonderful texture as well, reminiscent of slightly chunky almond butter. For me the small cup is perfect as I love eating ice cream/ frozen yogurt but my mouth starts to hurt from the cold. (Don't get me wrong, I looooove me some ice-cream - but on days, where you want a less guilty sweet pick-me-up, this is the place for you!) My faves are the matcha & strawberry almond - whenever they're in season, that is. Don't forget to top it off with some almond butter, chocolate chips, and some blueberries! Yummm. There are tons of locations around SoCal, but this is the location that is closest to my work. The employees are always welcoming and prompt to get you in and out! There are 4 freeze options: fruits, chocolate, vanilla, and greens and you can get an assortment of toppings. I had the chocolate with almond butter. It wasn't as creamy like soft serve as I was expecting, but it's dairy free after all. Honestly, it didn't blow me away -- it was tasty but I just could really get over the almost icy texture. I had actually sampled the greens freeze, and I liked that one a lot more! It made me think of a frozen smoothie or sorbet. Next time, I'll probably go for the greens or fruits freeze. The staff was very friendly, patient with customers, and attentive. I am bummed though that the 5 juice bundle can no longer include more than one signature juice. Really friendly people. I've been to Pressed in San Diego and in Boston, and this location is my favorite. I got a greens 1.5, which was refreshing and not sweet (no fruit) without being too grassy. I also got a small freeze (chocolate and vanilla mix) with coconut flakes, raspberries, and cacao and almond butter drizzles. Best freeze out of all the ones I've tried - and extra thanks to the girl for putting so much drizzle. I sampled the Movember special milk, which was OK, but a little sweet. The location is cute, has a little outdoor seating area with chairs, and a parking lot nearby! There are two sizes for the Freezes (size 1 is smaller and size 2 is larger) and four options for flavors (vanilla, chocolate, fruit, and greens). You can add toppings such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, coconut, granola, chocolate chips, or almond butter. Although the freeze is great on its own, I really liked the combination I got - vanilla with blueberries, strawberries, and almond butter! It costs $4.95 for a Size 1 without toppings, and $1 more to add the toppings. Additional toppings are $0.50 extra. So a little pricey, but quite tasty! Also, they are surprisingly low in calories and make for an incredibly delicious dessert! Would come here if I wanted to indulge on a healthy treat. Each one of them was unlike any pinkberry or yogurt land flavor we've tasted..we actually really enjoyed the greens which tastes exactly like a green juice but in frozen form. This is more of an icy flavor than the typical soft serve (hence the dairy free). There's 2 sizes to pick from size 1 is 4 ounces and 4.95 without toppings, 5.95 with up to 3 toppings (each additional topping is 50 cents). Size 2 is 8 ounces and 6.50 without toppings and 7.50 with up to 3 toppings. We got greens with strawberries, blueberries, and granola. My only gripe was that the strawberries seemed frozen and bitter which took away from the greens so I might get it without toppings next time. I'll be honest, I don't go to Pressed Juicery for their juices.. I go for their pressed freeze. It is to die for!! I always get the chocolate flavor, and it is so refreshing. Don't expect your typical, rich, deep and velvety chocolate flavor that you'd find at a frozen yogurt place. The chocolate flavor is surprisingly very refreshing! I always add toppings, and you get up to 3. Their cacao drizzle is what always keeps me coming back. It doesn't melt and actually kind of freezes up as well. The texture is chewy and it has a deep dark chocolate flavor, which I am a sucker for. My only issue with Pressed Juicery is that their price for a SMALL portion with toppings is $6! It hurts me inside. But I like going to this place as a better option than getting normal ice cream or froyo, because they're packed with a lot of sugar. This is a better option (not the best, of course) if you want something to satisfy your sugar craving without having a lot of added sugar. But like I said, $6 is a bit pricey for such a small portion. The location is in a little plaza with parking, which is convenient. There's also a bathroom inside as well.
