The beds have a lot of broken bulbs and have for months. Won't go back until their beds are fixed. They aren't going to reimburse so buyer beware. read more

After purchasing a month unlimited on my first day into the salon, I found that the bed I was in bad working order. it looks like it's old and uncared for, dusty and burnt around the edges. All 5 facial tanner bulbs were out and 6 of the 20 top bulbs were out. When I came out I had the receptionist check to make sure they were out and she confirmed. I requested a refund of my $140 and they said someone would call me. 4 days past and I had to call back before someone finally called me. They refused to refund my purchase and said that the face bulbs were on order and would arrive in 7-10 days and I should just scoot down and use the bed bulbs. Clearly they do not upkeep the beds as needed to charge those kinds of fees. This is very disappointing in the way they run their business. Do not waste your money! Find a salon that has good customer service and quality service and equipment! read more

Came here with a bridal party to get spray tans. The bride was the first to go in the booth and was waiting for the spray tan machine to start, when the store associate came in to inform her that they are out of the "hydration" and "pimer" steps. The bride already paid and was otherwise prepped, so she went ahead with the spray tan, skipping the hydration and primer. We asked about either getting a discount (since we were not getting the 2 out of the 3 steps we were supposed to) or an alternative (like primer we could apply ourselves). The store associate told us it would be the same price with or without the hydration and primer (really????) and then proceeded to offer us packets of primer for $8 a piece (seriously??? Why would we pay $8 extra for a service that was supposed to be provided anyway). Not happy with the service here. Would recommend going elsewhere. read more

Horrible Management! I closed my membership at least I was told I did. The girl at the first desk was a sweetheart and gave me the option to cancel my membership or to pause. I said canceling would be the best for me at this time. She gave me an end date and I asked if there was anything else I needed to do. She said no. I never received a copy of my membership when I started at the Northside it was hectic that day and it was going to be on the counter when I got out of bed but wasn't. I had a membership many years prior in the Valley so I knew how it worked and was a great experience. On my last week there I asked if there was anything needed again, I was told no, and I could start up again with no fee if within 3 or 6 months. When I canceled in Valley years prior, I wrote on a paper requesting cancelation at the counter with the gal. This time no paperwork was asked of me. My end date neared then I never tanned after that date. A move and several months later I went to Valley Sunny Buns as it is closer to my new residence. I let them know I had a canceled membership at Northside and if they could see what bed I was using as it was best for me. Gal was amazing and called over and said everything would be transferred and asked if I would like to start my membership again. I said no as I didn't plan to tan regularly. I paid for a month, might have been 2 months around May and April or 2023. Fast forward to September 2023, I get a call from a collection agency claiming I owe Sunny Buns North a few hundred dollars for a membership in 2022. I told her it was a mistake and some kind of mix-up up and I'd call Sunny Buns. I called and was told the owner is kind of retired and not in but there are managers. But not one there to call South Hill. I called South Hill and the manager was kind and said she would let the North manager know and we would get it figured out. Today I was called by the Manager at Northside Sunnybuns. I explained and she said," You know what I think? I think you knew you owed the northside and you couldn't pay so you ran to the valley and didn't tell them anything and went tanning and now you are upset that this is in collections. " I said, "Are you serious I was told multiple times I was good." To which she said my girls never told you that and your contract says you need a cancelation letter do you have that? Did you do that? I said," no I was told I was good and I even had valley call the northside when I went there. She repeated that what I said was not true and Valley never called us for you because we would have told them you have a debt and not let you tan. She said, "I'm sorry you are perceiving I'm calling you a liar I'm not I'm just saying that I know we never said you were good. Then repeated over and over you want a copy of the contract. No care or regard to addressing how this happened or how to make it right for a long-time customer. No respect, customer service nothing. It was you are a liar and pay our money and I don't care what you think you were told. It was a nasty call, my husband sat in Ahhh the way this manager spoke. BE AWARE OF NORTHSIDE'S SHADY DEALINGS AND GET A COPY AND PRINTOUT OF EVERYTHING FROM THEM, OR A YEAR LATER YOU WILL HAVE A COLLECTION NOTICE FOR YOUR CLOSED ACCOUNT. read more

Everyone down here at this location is absolutely great. Elizabeth is super knowledgeable, and quite helpful with any questions you might have. The tanning beds in general are great quality and generally run hotter than others in town (yes I have been to other salons). I have never burned in these beds! Its nice to be able to call ahead and they make sure you have a bed ready! Hands down the best place ive been to, and will continue to frequent. Thanks ladies! read more

Sunny buns is so scummy. I've been really sick from my chronic illness flaring and tried to cancel my services with them and they told me I couldn't cancel until I come in. I tried blocking them from taking my money and they still took it after I signed cancellation paperwork and haven't used services for months. They made it impossible for a person with chronic illness to cancel their services and stole my money. read more

Best Tanning in Spokane! Very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. I was unsure as to what kind of tanning package that I should get they helped me pick the best one for my needs. I usually only go for 6-8 minutes to help my mood during winter. It's great!!! read more

Very disappointed. Been a loyal patron of this tanning spa for years, through 3 owners. Make an appointment for a spray tan on a Thursday night. I was flying down to Sun Valley Idaho for the 8th annual Road Rally to watch a friend race his Porsche the next night. When I arrived I was told no one was available to airbrush me. They didn't have a phone number for me??? Nobody asked when I booked the appointment. Then I was offered a Versa machine spray tan, but it was booked at that time. Asked if I could go next door and get a pedicure, sure no problem. When I came back for my tan the machine wouldn't work, it was out of something. I was then offered a tan in a bed, only problem, I had skin cancer. Not a great way to treat a long time customer. read more
