Tropical Tan is an amazing place to go. Its VERY clean and newly updated inside. I love the positive vibe I get when I walk inside. Ileia is very welcoming and so incredibly nice. She has gone over and above my expectations for a tanning salon. She has great prices, specials and a variety of beds including spray tans. I haven't received a spray tan yet but heard that she does an incredible job! Tropical Tan is a wonderful place to go. Iliea is a wonderful owner and she trys her hardest to understand everyones needs and what they are looking for in a tan. I have been tanning for years and have never been treated as good as I have been since going here. I use her phototherapy bed due to having psoriasis and it has helped me out tremendously. I have never seen the results I have on me on any other tanning bed. Her prices are very reasonable and she even makes sure you understand what the importance is why to use tanning lotion and your goggles, she also gives u bottle water after tanning which I have never been offered by any other tanning place I have been to. I highly recommened this place for all your needs and if you have psoriasis or eczema to use the phototherapy bed it is way cheaper then going to a dermatologist. read more

The beds are just OK. But if you want good customer service and an honest place to spend your money, this is NOT it. The owner is really snobby and is interested only in how much you want to spend. The place does not abide by all rules for tanning-- they do not have you read over all the information you need to know for your skin type, including the appropriate amount of time to tan. In other words, this seems like a really sketchy business, and I will NEVER go back. read more

i've seen this salon go through many owners. The beds are ok but I know they don't change there bulbs as they should, and they never clean inside the bed, it's always so dusty and smells like burnt skin. There prices are reasonable. The employees suck, there is a high turn over rate there. I heard the owner no yells at his employees all the time and he is very rude! read more

The look and atmosphere has changed since I first visited this salon. Besides the look and atmosphere it feels as if nothing else has changed. Although they recommended goggles and lotions and the reasons as to why I need to use them I felt I was getting upsold in a way to the products they carry in the store, come on I can get the same stuff from walmart that does the same thing for a quarter of the cost. I was intrigued and enticed to return to this salon via a promotion I won from their facebook page. Because of this I had decided to try it out again. After the subpar service that I received I have deceided I will no longer visit salons that offer the same things as any other run of the mill salon out there, People there are tons of options to choose from so don;t settle for run of the mill service. Find a place that offers exclusive services. ie. complimentary waxing and lotion to get you by until your next tanning session. read more
