Where do I begin, the egg rolls are the size of my thumb. Sweet and sour chicken is nothing more then chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce. No green pepper and pineapple like it's supposed to be. The Hunan beef sauce is tasteless and not even spicy. Crab Rangoons was the only thing that tasted decent. Their homemade honey chicken is delicious!! Plus they have amazing lunch prices and the food was super hot and fresh! Their fried rice is fantastic as well, tastes very authentic. Sunny China is the BEST (even if their phone number is ONE off from mine)! Although I will say, that even though the maximum occupancy is 25, don't eat your food there. It's just too damn hot inside. And when the temprature outside is 104 and Sunny China rings in at a svelty 88 degrees inside, it just makes for a miserable dining expierence. The folks that work there are fast and efficient (not that they wouldn't be, seeing that they run their own place). Pick up times run about 10-15 minutes and the food is still piping hot when you get it home. Price wise, you can't beat it. I can get a family style sweet & sour chicken, some shrimp fried rice and steamed rice for under 12 bucks. Snuggled between the nail shop and a realator, it can be hard to miss if you're not familiar with the Kroger shopping "plaza", but let's be honest here... you can't miss it. We bought the following to share, all of which was pretty good: Orange chicken - they call it spicy, but its more like tangy and garlicky with a kick...yum Sesame chicken - delicious, gooey sauce and lots of toasted sesame on top Pork fried rice - onion chunks were a little too big, though the rice was tasty Pork egg rolls - pleasantly surprised to actually see the ground pork in every bite Wonton soup - tasty broth and wontons Its a small store, with 5 or 6 tables, so their business is primarily carryout. Wow. New to Spring Hill and this place came highly recommended. I was NOT disappointed. Ordered chicken-on-a-stick, crab Rangoon, wonton soup and chicken with broccoli cooked in Szechwan sauce. I list all of that because usually I can't find a place that does all my favorites well. BUT #SunnyChina did just that...GREAT tasting food and incredible portion sizes! The cabbage vegi dish and noodle mein were outstanding. Pork fried rice however, was very disappointing, it lacked flavor was heavy with oil not fluffy or very moist. I recommend the noodle mein and vegi cabbage dishes. On a side note, the kitchen looked disorganized and messy. I would not fully trust their santitation practices. Kind of a coin toss. read more

They have decent food. They are consistant with their quality, and the portions are large for the price. The lady that always answers the phone makes me laugh, she always sais " OK TEN MINUTE." I always ask them for extra spicey, they are good about making things to order, especially after they get to know you. They are no PF Changs, but if you want some chinese close to home they get my vote. read more

Sunny China is the best and most reasonable fast food Chinese in the area. We have eaten there or had take out for as long as I can remember. 20 years? So long that I often don't have to order and that they ask about my wife is she is not along. It is by far our favorite. My wife esp loves their wonton soup. read more

Sunny China is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the area! Don't bother with those other ones--even if they look crowded. Compared to other Chinese restaurants here it's a solid 5/5. Compared to great Chinatown restaurants it's mediocre. Their chicken and beef dishes are spot on. Some like General Tso's include hardly any veggies, but others like Hunan Beef have water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, green peppers and other stuff. Their lunches are really a good deal, they include fried rice and your choice of egg roll or soup. The hot and sour is my fave. They also do a really nice job on their pupu platter, but they have a different name for it, volcano I think. Oh, and don't bother with their vegetarian selections, they aren't great.
