We finally found our Chinese go-to restaurant in Nashville. Is the inside anything to write home about? No, but the food was exactly what we were looking for. Massive portion sizes, delicious melt in your mouth chicken, and friendly service. If you are looking for a great take-out Chinese spot or a quick meal inside. This place is going to be hard to beat. I highly recommend trying China Town!

China Town absolutely delivers. The portions are huge, the ambiance is cute, and the food? Spectacular. Everything tastes authentic and delicious--way better than your average takeout spot. My favorites were the orange chicken, perfectly crispy and coated in a flavorful sauce, the moo shu, which was packed with savory goodness, and the drunken noodles, which had just the right amount of spice. Perfect any time you need to scratch that Chinese food itch--except it's even better than you were craving.

China Town was a hit! On the cusp of a conversation about finding any "small town feel" Chinese/asian cuisine, I find this restaurant on a search. Tucked away on white bridge pike, we were welcomed at entry. Although it seemed like a slow Sunday the aroma let us know we were in for a treat! After reviewing the extensive menu we settled on the Red Curry with tofu and fried rice and the pepper steak with white rice. The red curry arrived piping hot and the pepper steak followed with some serious sizzle! Both dishes had amazing flavor and did not disappoint. All of the vegetables were cooked with care and suited the dishes nicely. From broth to sauce China Town checked every box. On top of great food, the service was great as well! Our waitress was very kind and detail oriented. She made our first visit a nice one. All in all if you're looking for good food add China Town to your list. I will definitely be back especially to try their boba

I got take out from China Town over the weekend. They were not doing dine in that night so we ended up taking our food to go. The restaurant overall is clean and very tidy. The service was helpful and everything was ready for us very quickly. The food was good. Of the three things I got the Orange Peel Chicken was definitely my favorite. I may just like chicken dishes better at Chinese restaurants because I could have passed on the Kung Pao beef but it was a winner in my household otherwise. I'll definitely be ordering from here again in the future and trying more things from the menu!

Came for the honey walnut shrimp but they were out, unfortunately. Food was still good- felt like higher end Chinese takeout. Portions are huge if you're dining in. Not sure about take out portions. Would go back! Bubble tea was good too!

We ordered chicken and mushroom dumplings, hot and sour soup, and some boba teas. If you visit Dumpling House, you absolutely have to order the chicken and mushroom dumplings! They are hands-down the star of the menu. The dumpling skins are rolled perfectly thin with just the right amount of chew. Inside, the filling is incredibly flavorful and savory--the earthy richness of the mushrooms blends beautifully with the tender, juicy chicken. Every single bite is packed with delicious, piping-hot broth. You can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients instead of just heavy seasoning. The dipping sauce complements them perfectly, too.The service was fast, the staff was welcoming, and the entire dining experience was wonderful. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

A classic local Nashville thai spot with the coziest interior and great parking! It's no wonder why…read moresmiling elephant has withstood the test of time, and the test of 8th ave's growth. I'd definitely recommend dining in - we went in on a rainy Thursday around 6 and it was already packed, but a table for two opened within about five minutes. Service is great and food hits the table quickly. We started with the fresh rolls, chicken and cabbage dumplings, and the tom kha. We added a side of peanut sauce, which was a game changer for the fresh rolls. The tom kha was a little tart for my taste, but was loaded with veggies that were cooked perfectly. The dumplings were super tender, and the fresh rolls are my favorite in town! For entrees, we got the pad thai and pad see-ew with rice noodles. Both absolutely delish, and we loved how the pad see-ew was prepared simply and traditionally with Chinese broccoli. Those portions are not to be reckoned with... we ended up taking two boxes full of noodles home! Their sticky rice with mango was our favorite bite of the night. The rice was the PERFECT texture, in a not-too-sweet sauce, topped with toasted coconut, and the juiciest, sweetest mango. What a treat.

I have eaten Thai from Washington state to Florida and everything in between. I always get chicken pad Thai as a barometer to compare between restaurants. I can't believe it but the very best Thai restaurant I have experienced is in Frankfort Ky. I'm spoiled so even a "good" experience isn't going to rank as high. This is a really cute restaurant and from the parking lot I knew it was a local favorite. Chicken and cabbage dumplings were excellent. Pad Thai was good, as mentioned. The sauce wasn't very flavorful and while I like onions, this dish had A LOT. Red and green onion and not consistently chopped. The green onions were very large, fibrous pieces that were difficult to eat. I also like the egg component but this dish had a lot of egg and seemed to be a large filler. We also had the pad see ew with chicken. Also good, but not outstanding. The service was top notch and the restrooms were very clean.
