Cute little restaurant. Workers were all very friendly. There were two tables outside and we were able to sit at one. Our breakfast took a little longer because they had to make the croissant fresh but they let us know and we didn't mind. They also serve fresh squeezed OJ. Food was good! I'd go back! read more

Tiny space, with much of the seating at bartops against the walls. BUT, it's a don't miss! They make all of their pastries in-house and my croissant/spinach-feta-egg popover was one of the flakiest and best I've had in years! The latte was served in a glass, canning jar mug and was so smooth and tasty that zero sugar was required. Wow. What a nice place for breakfast in Key West. We stopped in to check out the menu and we were talked into staying for a late breakfast. The girls working here were very friendly. We tried the bacon benedict and chorizo kokottes. They come out in a baked crock with toast. While it is hot, you stir it all together. Both kokottes were very good. My husband got the chorizo but tried the benedict and said it was better than his. The only mistake we made was not saving room for the pastries. They looked delicious, so we will have to go back and try them! If you are looking for something a little different than normal breakfast fare, give this place a try. read more

This is about the best breakfast and lunch experience. The presentation looked spectacular which matched every bite full. We went back all four days during our stay in Key west. Very cute hole in the wall spot with fresh delicious healthy food. Very expensive though, orange juice was 8$!!!! Also staff was not pleasant but maybe because it was so busy. I would definitely go back given the great quality of the food but I would not get the juices again. Avocado toast was so fresh with about half an avocado on each slice of sourdough and the basil pesto was an amazing addition! We had an okay experience at Sunny Eggs. Not quite what we expected with such great reviews. If I could give them 3.5 I would. The space was small so it felt a little cramped, but it was cute. My wife ordered the combo breakfast and it was okay. The jam and toast were delicious, the yogurt was great, but the eggs were inedible they were very wet and served in a cast iron dish that made them taste like soapy cast iron. (We cook primarily on cast iron, this is not a normal flavor). I ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it was fantastic, really good bacon and a delicious croissant. Word to the wise. The servings here are fairly small. If you a looking for a traditional/larger sized breakfast this is not it. read more

It was good. Had many kokot (cocotte ) in various places and this one was just ok. Had their Benedict version and it lacked flavor. If I closed my eyes, I would of guessed I was eating plain, slightly firm, poached eggs with the ham choice I requested. Hot coffee was luke warm. I'm local so will try them again. Especially the delicious looking pastry and baked goods displayed. read more

Sunny Eggs Bakery in Key West is an absolute gem! Hands down the best breakfast on the island. The service is warm, fast, and friendly, and the food is incredible. My eggs were cooked perfectly, paired with fresh avocado and their amazing basil sauce that pulls everything together.
