Sunny Eggs was an absolute 5/5 experience for me. I woke up earlier than the rest of my travel group and decided to take a walk around town. Never having visited before, I was unsure what I would find-- and there was Sunny Eggs! I'm not a huge breakfast person, but this place was honestly too cute to pass up. I sat by myself in the back corner against a gorgeous brick wall, and had a great time people watching. I ordered a classic breakfast, with eggs, toast, fruit, and bacon. The bacon was cooked absolutely perfectly, and the eggs were amazing too. I'm normally not an egg person at all, but I ate the entire thing up. Throughout that day, I could not stop telling my friends how amazing my breakfast was every time we would walk by! The staff was super friendly and gave me recommendations of things to do around town while we were there visiting. Would definitely recommend this to anybody visiting the Key West area.

We need a bite to eat for breakfast and stumbled upon this place. What a beautiful cozy restaurant. I never dreamed we'd be able to get in as quick as we did. I think we may have waited 10 minutes. The staff was super friendly very helpful on choosing what we would want to eat they had a delicious selection of pastries that they made in House. It must've been a crowd favorite because it was packed. I had something very simple. Toast and eggs. But they were yummy. Thanks for the delicious breakfast! See you soon!

Sunny eggs was an amazing breakfast stop in Key west!!! The orange juice is Ana big I could've drank a pitcher!! The breakfast pot was savory and I wanted more! The service was great and the decor like a key west cafe, added surprise was a friendly chicken that goes in and out! Def go and if there's a wait it's worth it!

This place was fantastic and a very popular breakfast place. We got there early and were able to get seated right away. By the time we left there was a long wait to get in. I got the avocado toast with poached eggs and it was so fresh and so good. Their coffee was fantastic too. I'd definitely go back here!

This place is cozy, but packs a punch when it comes to food and service. Such a cute little place we didn't think we'd even be able to get it....but less than 10 minutes later we were seated. Promptly greeted and given menus, our food was quickly delivered. And it was really really tasty. Would definitely come back when in Key Wedy.

Palm Breakfast - eggs, bacon, potatoes, tomatoes, avocado, and the best toast you've ever tasted.

Excellent breakfast! When you find this little place, you will not be disappointed. An abundance of fresh rolls and breakfast cakes along with freshly cooked breakfast plates. Service was fast. We enjoyed the (1) Palm breakfast and the (2) Feta, eggs and avocado toast. Both were outstanding. Would highly recommend!

Welcoming service. European menu. Friendly ambiance. Place is located half a block from popular Duvall St. Staff works hard to make you feel welcome even when their place is packed. European style menu with great pastry, 5 different types of Bennies. I went for Salmon Benedicts. Sauce was tasty and light. Eggs cooked at perfect term. Crisp muffins. They also have a great selection of freshly squeezed juices. My combo: pineapple and orange was so refreshing. Their coffee and pastries were incredibly well prepared. My Americano paired perfectly with the cinnamon croissant. Come early. If packed, make the wait. This place is absolutely worth it!

Delicious! We decided to come by for breakfast one day while in key west and was so happy we did! I ordered the lobster kokot and it was amazing! I loved the flavor and it had a good amount of lobster in it! My only complaint is I wish I had more bread! Definitely will return when I'm back. My husbands bacon egg and cheese was good but nothing to rave about. The kokots are the thing to order here! read more

The bomb!! They have barstools for customers like me they're eating by themselves and they have a few tables inside and a few outside. Great customer service. The food was amazing. The spices they put on. It are just exactly what you want. I had the palm breakfast. I think it was called. Excellent!! There is a local bookstore right next to it, which is useful if you're trying to find a book on all the happenings in Key West, but also other fictional books and interesting reads. read more

Tiny breakfast spot off Duval with limited seating. European flair with 80s Rock playing quietly In the background. I had the bacon eggs Benedict. Good flavor but I think that the bacon was cooked In the microwave. Wife had the avocado toast which she enjoyed. Overall a decent experience. With a diverse menu. I got the specialty lobster eggs, Benedict, which was seasoned perfectly and had a side of avocado with pesto sauce on it. That was absolutely divine. My husband got a just a normal BLT and it was wonderful as well. On the way out I noticed all of their pastries so I got a stuffed pistachio croissant which I ate the next morning. It was so good. I wish I could go back just for that.!!!! Service was excellent! read more

Run, do not walk to this amazing place. The only thing I didn't like is that is that it's located in Key West & not my hometown--I would be a regular for sure if I lived here! It's charming, the ambiance is great, servers were extremely attentive. It's a small spot so we were surprised to get checked on by four different people--making sure our water was full, asking how the food was, etc. Food was 10/10, everything was well seasoned and flavorful. I started with a Roosevelt smoothie which was delicious & a great size to start the morning. My bf got the Beet juice which he also enjoyed. I didn't try it because, who drinks beet juice?! I got the palm breakfast with sausage. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they executed what's essentially a standard breakfast. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese & they were very generous with the cheese, plus eggs were seasoned well. They drizzled pesto over the avocado which really added to the dish. My bf got the chicken sandwich, soooo flavorful. I will be going back before leaving Key West! read more

OMGosh...deliciousness here everywhere you turn! We ate here our last morning in Key West, sad because I'd have eaten breakfast here every morning, but what a way to end. We had the fruit custard and egg and bacon croissants and they were beyond delicious! Coffee was very good too as was the service. Saw lots of yummy looking plates of food going by as well. A great breakfast or lunch spot, but it is a very small restaurant. Expect tight seating and a wait in season. They also have great baked goods you can get to go. I think they're the best croissants in town. The tarts and danish are delicious. Fast, friendly service, high quality coffee and food, and great baked goods make this place 5 stars. The prices are a bit more than some places, but in this case, well worth the small premium. read more

Sunny Eggs is an absolute must-visit in Key West! Please go and give these lovely people your business and in return you will have a memorable breakfast. We ordered the yogurt and salmon sandwich. I also got a nice cup of iced coffee. Although the yogurt was absolutely delicious- sweet, tangy, crunchy and fruity- the salmon sandwich was truly unforgettable. The layers of veggies, egg, and a nice helping of salmon was delightful! We also tried a cinnamon roll and an almond croissant. I thought the cinnamon roll was perfect- it had a nice fluffy inside and chewy caramelly outside. The croissant was pretty good too! The workers were friendly and helpful. They were eager to check in with us throughout the experience. The seating is a little awkward but doesn't detract from an overall wonderful visit! read more

Was very smooth and light. Had the Breakfast bagel and requested no onions. Layered with eggs, avocado, spinach, and tomato. The mayo herb was light and gave it a more earthy fresh taste. The entire bagel sandwich was light, probably also due to the bagel being whole grain. Didn't feel like those usual heavy bagels with lots of carbs.

So we started looking for something nearby and came across this place. It's not a traditional restaurant -- they've basically turned the porch into a seating area. You order at the counter and wait for them to bring your food. There's also a small general store right on the porch. We placed our order, and it took a little while for them to prepare everything. The fried banana was really good. My sandwich, though, was pretty boring. Still, it was a chill and peaceful spot to sit in the shade, eat lunch, and watch all the cool cars go by -- a nice, relaxed lunch overall.

After a long day of walking and sightseeing, a small afternoon coffee break was much needed. We ordered iced coffee along with a slice of honey cake. The cake was moist, not overly sweet, and paired perfectly with either iced or hot coffee. The only downside was the service toward the end of our visit. Since they were preparing to close, the staff had already started putting things away and cleaning while customers were still seated and eating or drinking. Personally, I think cleaning should begin after closing time rather than while guests are still trying to enjoy their experience. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the honey cake and would love to try their cold brew next time.

It was good. Had many kokot (cocotte ) in various places and this one was just ok. Had their Benedict version and it lacked flavor. If I closed my eyes, I would of guessed I was eating plain, slightly firm, poached eggs with the ham choice I requested. Hot coffee was luke warm. I'm local so will try them again.
