The bigger white guy that works here was a little aggressive with me so after writing this review I more than likely won't come back even though I live across the street. I'm a 28 year old woman (went in alone)and I understand checking IDs can be tedious so I tried to joke around with him and he snapped at me. After I made it clear I was joking and gave him a second form of ID so he can calm down he did apologize but that still doesn't make it ok. He's the one working I shouldn't be scared to make a purchase. They have good inventory though! read more

Love this place. True story: my brother and I were told to get a bag of ice. I heard this place was nice so I chose to come here. Immediately I was blown away by the selection of beers. The guy working there was amazing. He asked what we liked and gave recommendations based off that. He showed us the little walk in fridge which is packed with options. I also love that they carry all the Cutwater options and even have singles available. If you're looking for something specific but don't see it, just ask. Chances are they'll order it for you. When we got back to the house, we realized we were so distracted by the options that we forgot the ice. It gave us an excuse to go back. read more

So apparently 1 modelo chelada tall can cost $8 cause I went in today and gave the guy my $10 bill and got 1$ and some change. So I'm assuming beers over priced, or the clerk doesn't know how to give change. I didn't notice this till I got home. Too lazy to go back and have the risk of the guy calling me a Lier. Cool new owners who have remodeled an antique of a liquor store and turned it into a craft beer heaven. Also has a good hard liquor selection. Nice to have a clean updated convenient store close to the house. Whatever you need or have questions about they will help you out. read more

I recently moved to this area and but still from La Habra, we always need our "go to" liquor store and me and my husband found this gem right down the street. It has everything we need for a quick trip and it's now our liquor sotre. To boot the customer service is above and beyond friendly. I highly recommend it. This is where I get my "Alcohol" essentials. From Very good Craft beers and exquisite choice of Wines and Hard drinks. They also have my favorite Tequila (Teremana). Place is clean and organized. Staff are friendly and helpful. Mario is the best! I highly recommend this place. Cheers! read more

They only had one of the two and I ordered two on Friday, but they did not tell me that if I pick it up Saturday, even though I ordered it on Friday, I would not get the sale price. Will my order be processed faster than anyone else's? Doubtful. I see at least three runners working. I do like that Walmart had a bigger selection of grocery items over their competitor Target. Walmart carried jumbo sized baking potatoes in an 8 pound sack ($5.44). This isn't something that'll I'd see on the Target app. They also carried Marketside grass fed ground beef individually packed per pound ($6.26/lb) versus Costco's bulk 6 pound tray of standard 88/12 ($6/lb). It's a ten minute wait for my medium sized grocery order to be delivered to the car. Mind you, it was ready for pickup earlier in the morning at 7-8a. These young adults, at least my runner, do not know how to load groceries starting from heavy to ending with fragile items. The green onions were placed at the bottom of the bag and then crushed by heavier groceries. Thank goodness I didn't have any eggs in my order. I had to tell this guy to put the items in the bag. He was assuming in the trunk without bagging?? Come-on now, be intelligent, and put forth effort.

I ordered 2 huge pieces of tilapia and 3 pieces of swai for around $15 (varying based on the market price). One piece of fish cooked this good would cost at least $20 to $30 on a plate with sides at a restaurant. Anyway, I was so satisfied and I plan to do this once or twice a month. I'm not sure all incredients were in there. No barley, rice, couscous, nor wheat berry! WTH??? I also picked up the SW Style Taco Salad with Chicken... Hmm, not a very tasty salad and will choose others that are better in taste and flavor. Even at a reduced mark down, not a salad I'd enjoy. The Turkey BLT Salad was slightly better but I picked out the cucumbers that were already shopping signs of mold. I rate this variety better than the taco salad. The simplest broccoli salad was the best of the four I selected. The bean salad has a misleading label on it. Only edamame and garbanzo in there.

If you need bagels for work or a party, call him the day before and let him know what you want. He and his team will take care of you! This place is JUMPING! Was looking for a bottle of Tears of Llorana Tequila and stumbled upon this liquor store. The guy who helped me was super friendly, knowledgeable, and honest about their pricing. I did my research before I came in and knew the price they were charging at Total Wines. He said Total wines has it for $10 cheaper but wanted to support this small business. I wish I could give this store a better star rating but...it's about the hobos that hang outside,all around Can't give you any more business, sorry Not safe for me to park or even walk in without a confrontation with some sort of homeless/bum and the smell of urine is overpowering Maybe try to "shoo" them away I feel bad for the other stores in the center It really makes the stripmall look shady read more

Great selection. But prices fluctuate. You'll be surprised. One day an item is one price and the next day the very same item will be a higher price. No consistency at all. And when you call them out on it, they play dumb. My advice to you is Ask the guys behind the counter before you buy and if they give you a lame answer walk away. read more

I randomly stopped by here a few weeks ago, and it had just opened under new ownership. The owner Mario is so nice and greeted me as soon as i walked in. He asked if i needed any help and was so sweet. I found exactly what i needed, and he sells everything ! I'll definitely be coming back again even though it is out of my way, but worth it. read more
