I thought I found my nail salon and have been happy with the pedicures. But I recently got gel nails for a vacation trip. When I came back, I had them removed and got a regular clear manicure. The dull and rough nail with file marks on the right is how I left the salon. The left nail is after I removed the polish and buffed it for less than 1 minute, which could have easily been done there. Plus do these look like cuticles that had a manicure three days ago? This was done by the salon owner, not a beginner. Two stars because the pedicures have historically look good. read more

I go every 2 weeks, and it is consistently exceptional quality both in manicures and pedicures. I have to get a fill, and Tanya is the best! During the week I am occasionally the only customer, so it's highly personalized. The shop is exceptionally clean. They always include a short hand/arm rub with the mani and foot/leg with the pedi. The women just do what is ideal. I don't have to point out my choices each week. Tanya speaks excellent English, and she is sweet as can be. She always remembers me and my nail color choice. Employees were very kind but the nails are awful. I went in around two weeks ago and got a full set of acrylic nails - the total came out to over $65. The nails were put on with superglue and after two weeks a nail started coming off and was incredibly painful. When it came off all the way it removed half of my actual nail. I've never had an issue with acrylics before this salon, they've usually come off in time but I have never lost half a nail and been in pain when one comes off. read more

Hi Yelpers.... Anne gave me a pedicure today- this is a simple neighborhood nail salon with very good prices! The staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant. Real sweet folks. They use silver nano to sterilize the foot baths (silver is super effective and body healthy). Works for me. I see some reviews that appear negative... my perception is if you come in with a good attitude these folks will do nails however you wish, they have been doing this for many years and know their stuff....my men's pedi was perfect. Detail oriented, gentle and was totally cool with me asking to really trim the corners of the nail. The leg and foot massage was really nice. They are Good people - support their business. This was hands down the WORST PEDICURE I have ever received. I went with my mother (who for some reason likes this place... I think it's because she's never experienced what a pedicure should feel like). I was seated at the first chair (oh all the chairs are at an angle so you cannot talk to whomever you go with without krinking your neck) where there was no water. Finally a man came out... No introduction... No hello how are you... ZERO.. and filled up the tub... The water got to my ankles, he turned it off..And then grabbed my right foot out and dried it off .. then my left foot... And I'm not kidding that was the last time I saw the water. He then proceeded to trim my nails (later resulting in an ingrown nail) and took ONE PUMP of lotion.. rubbed it on my calf and another ONE PUMP on my foot. Total massage.. LESS THAN TWO MINUTES. Then he painted my toes... (Which it's been about 4 days and they are all chipping) and that was it. Total time... 16 minutes. And then wanted $20. He got the $20 and ZERO TIP. Ohhhh and I'm 34 weeks pregnant with twins.. so yeah.... Was really looking forward to a nice RELAXING massage. I fixed it by going to Jessie Jings and receiving the best massage of my life. We renamed this place Saigon Nail Fungus. If you stay after you walk in, and look around, it's your own fault. Dirty, smelly, and just not sanitary. My daughter had her toe nails done, and got a nail fungus from it, which took months to clear. read more

I am so happy to have found Saigon Nails. I've had so many unpleasant experiences in many of the places I have tried over the years. I have driven past Saigon Nails many times and today, since it was a Saturday, I decided to stop in because it is a smaller place and I hoped - not all booked up. I loved my experience there. Inside it is very pleasant and feels peaceful. An amazingly wonderful woman named Thuy ( I think that is the spelling but pronounced Twee ) greeted me and did a fabulous job but even more importantly, because of her delightful and friendly personality, made me feel so welcome, comfortable and at ease. Moreover, all of the other people - customers and personelle alike also seemed so gentle and kind. Was I dreaming? It is true that the decor is not super posh but it is sweet, pleasant and clean & to me that is much more important. I have been to some other Salons that have splashy decor and fast but poor service. As long as I am in Santa Rosa this will remain my choice for a manicure and pedicure. Last thing I will mention is that the prices are reasonable.... Highly recommended!!!! read more

Just looks like another ordinary nail salon, however the service is really good. The owner Thuy (pronounced Twee) will remember everything about you when you come back the second time, including your name. Excellent prices and good service. Come by between 5-7pm and you'll get right in. Open 6 days a week. I think more guys like me should be getting Mani's and Pedi's. After all, it's called a MANicure. They also accept appointments. The nail technician was just terrible! She had shaking hands, could stay within the lines of the bed. Don't even think what she put on was the right stuff. She didn't even seem like she cared about her job. And all for $35?! I could have bought a small pot of paint, dipped my fingers in, and it would have looked much better than the job she did. I wouldn't go back to this place even if it were free! I had to go to my regular place 4 days later to have them manicured again!
