I went to Hi Nails for the first time after hearing about it on my moms group and reading reviews. They were able to get me in writhing 30 min of me calling on a Sunday afternoon, which I appreciated. I got a manicure and pedicure without any polish this time. The gentleman who did my toes was nice, wore a mask and turned on the massage chair for me. He used lotion on my legs, scrub and hot stones. Everything felt great. He let me read my book, which I appreciated. I wasn't in any rush. The only negative is that on inspection when I got home, it wasn't really the best pedicure. He got my cuticles but the nails were cut pretty straight (I asked for round) and it looks like there is still some dirt on the sides of my big toe nails. The owner (I think) was very nice and did my nails. She did a great job - they are short and round as requested, no hang nails and clean cuticles. Price was $60 plus tip. Very reasonable. I've been going to Hi Nails for about a year now, and I truly can't imagine going anywhere else. I've never really felt comfortable in nail salons, but that completely changed after my first visit here. Every appointment since, they've made me feel so welcome and at ease. What I love most is how personal the experience is. They actually remember the things I've shared about my life and always ask how my mom and sister are doing, which is incredibly sweet and means a lot. I've never experienced that at any other nail salon. And it's not just with me. They're always asking customers about their lives, whether they're new or returning customers. I'm usually calling day‑of for a gel mani/pedi, and they always find a way to fit me in. They'll even give me a call if they're able to get me in sooner. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. I always leave extremely happy with my nails and toes. The care, effort, and pride they put into their work really shows. I have been coming to this nail salon since the opening after Covid. The technicians are always attentive, pleasant and easy to talk to. I really wanted to like this place, which is why I gave them a second chance after the first time they cut me during my service. Unfortunately, during my second visit, I was cut again this time by the owner. Being cut once can happen, but twice, especially after giving them another opportunity, is very concerning. I've always enjoyed coming here, but the past few times something has changed. In keeping this short, my pedicure did not contain a massage, had 2 passes per foot with the heel scrub (so my heels are still dry and rough) and left me with two bloody toes. I found Hi Nails randomly and am so glad I did. The first time I went Lan did my nails and did an amazing job - her attention to detail is unmatched! My friend was impressed and we went back before her wedding. I showed Lan a picture with a design I wanted on my natural nails with gel, and she did it perfectly. Wanted to love thIs place aFter great reviews on Next Door Went last Week in pouring rain so they had only one other client Two friendly young women greeted me. My manicure was done by "Loon" she filed my nails and did a great jOb trimming my cuticles. I was concerned when she applied base coat, 2 coats of polish and top coat without having my nails dry in between coats. She had me sit afterwards under a light to dry my nails. Now a week later my polish is getting chipped. My manicures usually last over 2 weeks so I am disappointed. There is also signs in the salon stating students and seniors get a 10 percent discount.
