Greta service at this place!! and you know how much I love good service. Their small and cute emapnadas are $1 and we had two different flavors which they were great; cheese and chicken. Their tequenos are ok, not too good.

Steak and onion sub! So good. And this is the smallest size!

Great amazing subs! The quality is great for the price. I would come back again! And for those $1 empanadas!!!

Parking in this shopping center during lunch is a dread so beware or just save yourself time and order it via Uber eats! Yummy yummy and affordable! The chicken is well seasoned, and the salad contains the just right amount! The owner it seems to be is attentive, and when we've called even has remembered our order which I love personally!

As I am on a sub kick this week I thought I would try this place. It's in an industrial area, not so pretty. From the outside this place doesn't look like much, but on the inside there is lots of seating in a separate room off to the left. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and we discussed the different subs. I chose the super size club sub with LTO mayo, turkey, and bacon. They have a garlic mayo so I tried some of that, plus the oil and vinegar. He didn't put much lettuce on so I asked for a bit more. It was made pretty quick. I decided to eat half there in the dining room. The sub was pretty good, a decent roll, but I wasn't thrilled with the quality of the turkey. Perhaps next time I'll try a different sub and see how it is, like the Italian.

Good food and service, they made some small Venezuelan empanadas that I love and it made me come back and came back, made of fish call Cazon!!!!

This place is an absolute staple and a true hidden gem for anyone who loves a good sub. It's dangerous that it's so close to home ! What sets Hungry Bear apart is the fact that they pack their subs not just with generous amounts of meat, but with serious flavor too. Every bite hits, and it's obvious they season their ingredients with intention. Whether you go for the classic Philly or my go to, the Honey Mustard Chicken, you're getting a sandwich that's loaded and satisfying. Recently, I tried their new BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch sub and... wow. It was everything you'd want in a messy, flavor packed sandwich. Smoky, tangy, crispy, melty and just perfection in a sub roll. Speaking of rolls, the bread here deserves a whole paragraph of its own. It's always soft, fresh, and just the right texture. It holds up without being too chewy or too dry, and honestly, it makes the whole experience next level. This is a takeout spot, and trust me, it's always packed. That's how you know it's legit. While there's no indoor seating they did recently add two picnic tables outside. If the weather's nice, that's your spot. If you haven't been to Hungry Bear yet, you must go. If you've already been you must go again. Some places come and go, but Hungry Bear is the kind of classic that sticks around for a reason.

Upon arrival, it was not busy, there was one person waiting on their food, we saw that our orders on the screen, and there was only 3 orders total at the moment. However, we probably waited another 20 mins after. While we waited more people showed up, but our food was not getting done any quicker. People who ordered in person got their order first, and they came in at least 5-10 mins after we arrived. I have worked in the food industry, so I do understand that it gets busy, however when we came in time, it was announced that we were there to pick up the food. Only one employee apologized for how long it was taking. I would have thought that our food was going to be done first. The drinks were alright, we got the lemonade, and half sweet and unsweet tea. We ordered the King Club, Chicken salad Sandwich, Spicy Turkey Melt and the Max Spud. Mind you, these items were all half, so imagine waiting more than 30 mins total from the time we ordered to the time we got the food. The King club was good, the honey mustard added a nice sweetness. The Spicy Turkey melt was mid, I think it could do without the avocado. The Chicken Salad sandwich was good too, I love the little sweetness the cranberries added. The Max spud was also mid. I don't think I'm a baked potato kind of person. The vibes were like as if Panera and TooJays had a baby. Would come back for the food but service could improve.

After lunch…read moreelsewhere, my son (12) and I took my wife here, having heard good things and also because we regularly go to Peruvian establishments since my wife is from Arequipa in southern Peru. We have eaten in Peruvian restaurants and cafes all over North America. Here, the flavors were familiar but amazingly well-executed. We had these treats: Lucuma-chocolate cheesecake -- not too sweet, either flavor/layer; this is just a smooth caramel flavor derived from the lucuma fruit plus the real chocolate layers. Lucuma milkshake -- not too sweet, just a creamy caramel-flavor profile again derived from, counterintuitively, a fruit. Arroz con leche / rice pudding -- delicious, creamy, and a little thin compared to the American counterpart (tends to be thicker consistency); this has cinnamon and a little bit of spiced orange. My wife said it reminded her of her mother's arroz con leche. Little box of alfajores -- we didn't try them yet. This place is 10/10 especially if you are a discerning Peruvian food eater.

We ordered the chicken and triple sandwich and both were outstanding. The triple was nice and light, refreshing with the avocado and mayo. The bread was very spongey in a good way, fresh made! My coworker said it was "made with love" The same can be said with the chicken sandwich, the fresh brioche bun elevated the overall. It was a great chicken salad that wasn't too sweet or heavy. The arroz con leche was made with long grain, light cinnamon and a thinner consistency, pretty solid overall. The inside ambience was very nice. Cute decor with plenty of seating. The owner was super nice and told us of their new bowls they have, both chicken and salmon. I will be back to try the coffee!
