The first two small body repairs and paint repair were performed in a professional and satisfactory manner. TWO YEARS LATER....We bring our jet black 2004 Chevy 2500 suburban to be detailed and waxed. We are the second owners of this vehicle, the first owners was Uncle Sam as it was an FBI vehicle. We have owned it since 2011, and have put 101,0000 of its 200, 000 miles on ourselves. The vehicle had its fair share of road dings on the hood, to be expected in 200,000 miles of driving. When we received the vehicle late on a Friday we were leaving for a weekend down at the shore. Saturday morning in the clear light of day we could tell that there were numerous mechanical gouges through the clear and black layers of finish right down to the galvanized metal. These gouges were evenly spaced across the broad coverage of my entire hood, and occur in an even pattern down the sides of the vehicle. We were upset to see damage that we knew was not present when we the vehicle was brought to their facility, Monday after work my wife stopped by to discuss with the shop owner/foreman, and was summarily disregarded, disrespected, and blown off in a complete and utter show of disrespect. We never expected the owner to paint our 13 year old truck, but wanted him to be aware that he might have a problem with his buffer, as it scratched our truck, badly. Instead the owner went right to a dismissive and defensive tone before he even stepped outside to look at the damage that is evenly spaced across the entire finish of our vehicle. Surprised and disappointing in a business we have used in the past. I would recommend that if you have taken the time to read this far, please avoid this business if you wish to hire a professional shop that will stand behind their work and treat you with respect. They did neither today and will never see our business again.

They forgot to reinstall a pressure relief/oil valve, so the engine got no oil circulation and blew. She ended up stranded in the middle of a two-lane road. Brand new vehicle, catastrophic damage -- from an oil change. Even worse was the response: no urgency, no help with the tow, no rental assistance, and no reimbursement for missed work not even an offer to reimburse the god damn oil change that ruined her vehicle . We had to figure everything out ourselves while they dragged their feet. We didn't want to go the legal route we had hoped a business would just make things right but that is far from the case . An oil change should never turn into a blown motor. I wouldn't trust this shop with a lawnmower.

After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! From the beginning, communication was a mess--they rarely returned our calls and we had to constantly follow up just to get basic updates. The tech we were assigned to was barely ever at the shop because he worked at multiple locations, and unfortunately, he never handed off our case to anyone else. To make things worse, he clearly didn't understand the process to complete a warranty claim, which delayed everything even further. Now it's April 10th, and we just found out they also weren't returning calls from the warranty company. That's over four months wasted with absolutely no progress, all because of disorganization and lack of professionalism. So I went to Fonzarelli's instead. They took a week to get all the parts, paint and fix my car. It literally looks brand new and like nothing ever happened to it. They even cleaned the inside. Deceptive billing practices hidden behind a "family safety" sales pitch…read more I recently brought my 2018 Infinity Q50 here for an agreed-upon $89.00 A/C check. Once they had my car in the shop they pushed an extra $115.00 manual labor charge, claiming they "could not" use a diagnostic scanner port in my car because every electrical component had to be checked individually. I questioned that and was told that the port in my car would not read "broken wires, bad ground or power supply." The upcharge was paid for and I drove home. When I got home i did some research and as I suspected their claim was completely false. A 2018 Infinity HVAC computer instantly generates diagnostic codes like open circuit or short to ground and the power supply. The standard, legal procedure in New Jersey is to plug the scanner in under the initial agreed-upon fee of $89.00 first, pull codes, and then present the findings to the customer to request authorization for further manual labor. Instead they skipped the standard legal procedure to manufacture additional labor hours, completely bypassing required procedure. After contacting the service manager by email and giving them the opportunity to refund the upcharged amount they maintained their position even though their own documentation proves my claim to be true. I am filing a formal complaint with the New Jersey division of Consumer Affairs and initiating a credit card dispute for deceptive upcharging. Watch your paperwork very careully here. They claimed their scanner was of no use onmy car and could not read the required codes to diagnose my A/C correctly. My vehicle uses an entirely computer-controlled electronic variable compressor, meaning their advanced scanners are precisely the tools designed to read these electrical faults. They used their advertised "High-Tech" Certifications to justify a "Bait and switch" price upcharge tactic. They refused my written request for a partial refund in writing. As a senior citizen, I do not like getting taken advantage of and neither should you. Be cautious and be wary of the upselling or upcharging
