I walked in and told Gary what my situation was and straight away he reccomended the Aspire PockeX, and I freaking LOVE IT!!! It does NOT LEAK, it's much slimmer and doesn't irritate my tendonitis in my thumb, is super cute and and I can actually taste my Cape juices! The new setup, a box of replacement coils, and a 100ml bottle of vape juice waa only about $65 total. He helped me set it up, too! I can't say enough about Black Rock Vapor, Gary and Amy. I ALWAYS feel so welcomed when I go in and they help me with whatever I need. I love the tasting bar, too! And it's nice to earn vape juice when you sign up for their reward program. I also will get periodic texts when they have sales and discounts going on, but not too many texts. If you're looking for a vape shop or you don't love your current vape shop, give Black Rock Vapor a try, I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!!!

Born in the 50s. Grew up in the 60s. Love, Peace and Music…read morestill works for me. Fulfilling your groovy needs since '98, Hippies is where Love, Peace and Music still rule. Hippies is a store for dreamers and their dreams. A store for life and all the joys it brings. A store for laughs. A store with memories you've memorized to keep your winters warm are. A store where all that's good gets better. A store for life. A store for love. A store for you. I've been shopping at Hippies for decades. I recently was there for Christmas present shopping because they have groovy stuff, patriotic merchandise and a Veterans and Military Discount. Merchandise selection, customer service and cleanliness was adequate. Hippies' owners like their Freedom so they have a daily Military and Veterans Discount as a token thank you to Veterans and GIs which provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one-percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans' and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. The Hippie Movement peaked with the 1967 Summer of Love. As a Hippie myself, my Hippie friends and I read a lot, spent a lot of time learning and sharing our learning. We had container gardens over-flowing with vegetables and flowers and weed, and we brewed our own beers. Some had chickens. We became experts at salvaging and re-purposing. We traded and bartered as we had little cash. We loved classical and jazz music then invented our own blues, folk and rock music. We got around by walking, mountain bikes, our beloved VW "People's Car" buses or little put-put boats we'd salvaged. We were pro-Peace. We put on the holiday parades. We kept our word, oaths and promises. We helped out each other. We Honorably Served in America's Armed Forces where we started the Sir! No Sir! Movement, the GI movement to end the Viet Nam war https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64VULejzNhc. We then served on the Boards of Directors of various non-profits we either started or volunteered for. We were Conservationists. We were jacks-of-all-trades and masters of several. We taught at colleges and universities. How the Hippies Saved Physics https://www.hippiessavedphysics.com/. We were whimsical. We had very little debt. We gave ourselves and each other roots to grow and wings to fly. A good legacy for a bunch of bright, fun-loving and underemployed young Hippies. In the early 1980s, yuppies and their high-end Mercedes and Range Rovers and mountain of debt began to replace the Hippies. By the late 1990's there were only remnants remaining of the Hippie Culture. This Hippies store is a remnant. Another remnant is The Serial: A Year in the Life of Marin County, which I have an original copy of the book, a satirical novel by Cyra McFadden. In 1976, the book's chapters had been serialized in the Marin County alternative weekly newspaper Pacific Sun, as well as the San Francisco Chronicle. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Th... The Giger Chronicles, by a different author, picks up where The Serial left off, and satirizes the rise of the yuppies in Marin County, California. scribd.com/document/5710... I've been shopping at this shop for 3 years bc it's close to me. But for the past 2 years, I've…read moreconsidered it an absolute last resort option, and after today, i won't even shop there if it's free Because: 1. Easily the WORST vape selection in Reno. 2. They REFUSE to order better options after years of me requesting & them promising they would. 3. The most unhappy, unfriendly, and unhelpful staff you can imagine. 9/10 times I go there, I'm not greeted, which I don't even care about, but they full blown ignore you until they have to help you. Don't even bother asking them questions for help because you'll only annoy them and get anything but that. There's multiple staff members there that literally look like they hate their job, their life, being there, and especially hate people. They're straight up rude. I'm wondering if it's like a culture thing over there? And also how it's possible to hire that many rude people? Over the past 3 years, there's been at least 4-5 noticeable rude staff members. I think only one of them is alright and it's the blonde guy. He's not even nice or friendly he just isn't rude. And I wish I could say the problem is me bc I would accept that 100%. but since the unpleasant encounters start from the first impressions and continue forever, it ain't me. I'm extremely nonchalant, mannered, and just wanna get my things and head home. The reason I decided to write this review is bc of one specific staff member who bothered me to my core. Don't know her name because they don't use name tags. But she's about 6'1", a bunch of piercings, and could easily be considered goth/edgy/grunge or whatever. Yeah she's absolutely one of the most unpleasant humans to communicate with at any level, like no offense but it feels like my energy gets sucked straight out of my body and I leave confused about why she acted like that. Like is it my fault? The first time she "helped" me it was like this but I didn't care at all. The second time i started to notice a pattern. And the third time just pressed me bc it was by far the worst. She has a fantastic routine so let me play it out for you. *You walk in and say "hi"- you're lucky if she even looks at you but regardless she full blown ignores you, then walks to the area where customers look at their selection, once she's there she stands with her neck bent at a 90 degree angle staring at her phone until you say something. Now you're looking at their selection of 5 juices that look produced out of a garage... Naturally you ask questions for more info. Like "do you know what flavors you have?" She replies: "no"... okay.. Then you say: "well what flavor is that one?".. She replies "no".. Like wym no bruh who says that when assisting a customer??? is she gonna help me or just say no?.. So you ask her for her recommendation on the best juice since they all look FDA disapproved and she replies "I only vape disposables so no" and gives you a dirty look this time Picture this: You ask about a specific flavor named 'white moon flower'- She replies: "well it must taste like white moon flower" and stares at you without expression. I mean it's actually remarkable. So after the disturbing interaction, you pay and before heading out you say "thank you" and she full blown ignores you again. After she hands over your change she immediately returns her neck to 90 degrees and starts scrolling. Imagine you're a regular, she'll assume what you want, walk to get it while her neck is bent at 90 degrees the whole time, then check you out as fast as possible, ignore you the entire time, then go back to scrolling ASAP. If she could check you out and count change while scrolling, no doubt she would. I'm sorry but this was such a bad experience and it's always been bad. It's crazy but good luck Smok'n rays
