As our trip got closer, the stay at home orders in California due to COVID got stricter and forbade staying at vacation rental properties. I called them to inquire about their cancelation policy and was told they were not canceling rental properties and were essentially going to ignore the state orders. That left us in a bind because we didn't want to break the law. After a heated conversation with the owner Ryan, he sent me an email that my reservation was canceled because they wanted to offer the place to someone else. He said I'd get a refund minus 5%. Our reservation was $7k, so 5% is almost $400. Keep in mind - I didn't give authority to cancel my reservation. He told me it couldn't be canceled, then sent me an email canceling it. He canceled my reservation, immediately rebooked it, and still charged me $400. You could literally create a business by booking and canceling people all day long. What a scam. Horrible customer service, unethical, breaking the law, and thieves. I've already reported them.

I accepted the loss of our $5,000 down payment, but all of our utility deposits were kept by the owners even though they were supposed to be returned, along with a month space rent paid in advance. My wife had a chain link fence installed which we paid the owners $900.00 for and which the owners kept when we left. There were mice/rats on the park property which were destroying the home we were buying and I had to spend $1500.00 on Terminix eradication even though I didn't own the property. The owners blamed the mouse damage to the house on our 5 year old and 2 year old children (yeah, right). My wife even helped the owners find buyers for several of their units, and they repaid us by taking what they were not entitled to. Rent to own schemes only benefit the owner and never the buyer. Don't make the same mistake we did.

Now that I'm reading reviews I see this is an ongoing issue with her, seems she has no problem being rude when hiding behind a screen. We vocalized that the cabin was messy upon arrival, Wi-Fi wasn't working we spent an hour setting that up. We had problems with the heater not working during our stay. She insisted that it was clean because she checked personally. If that is your perception of clean than you must live in a pig pen. She was completely dismissive about our concerns. I've read the reviews and whenever there's a bad one she's always defensive. So I'm sure she'll make up a story as to why nothing is her fault, but if this helps deter anyone out there not to book with Holly then I'm happy. Don't get me wrong the cabins location was great, but that's the only nice thing I have to say.

This is of great concern to his neighbors as the windows are low and the child could easily fall to his death. The child has never had a haircut and is not kept clean. The dog he has is a beautiful animal that he allows to defecation in the front of a vacant house next door to his place. There is 6 yrs worth of feces in the front and along the sidewalk. I have asked him many times to please pick up his dogs poop as it is foul and disgusting. He also flooded his apartment buy putting in a mini washing machine thst he had draining into a sink. It overflowed and the water leaked thru the floor damaging both the floor and ceiling of the apartment below him. His apartment is very small and does not have hook ups or room for a washer. He is a very large man living in a miniscule apartment lets his kid scream and cry hang out the open windows and has never cut his little boys hair which is so long everyone thinks he is a girl. The boy is now in school but still does not know how to talk. I have never seen the inside of his place but if he doesnt pick up his dog poop after being asked numerous times to pick it up I would imagine the inside of his place not very clean. She refused to make needed repairs and ignores when the gas company tells her something needs to be replaced. We have had to use space heaters because of this. She refused to make reasonable acomidations for disabled Tennant's.
