After knowing about this place for so long, and seeing their posts all over Instagram, I finally was able to stop by after work with a coworker. First off, can you spell ~ aesthetics ~ everything down to the interior decor, the cup design/material, the menu, and even their uniforms were so pleasing to my eyes. Love the yellow! Truly wish I had visited before covid hit, so I could enjoy my drink at the store and take cute ig worthy photos, but hopefully one day! Anyways on to the drinks- They have a good menu with a lot of different options to choose from. When you get there you order from a kiosk. If you're indecisive like me you'll probably have a hard time choosing considering all the drinks look really yummy. I came in when no one else was there so I took my time reading the descriptions that they had of each drinks (super helpful btw). Eventually someone did walk in, and since I still couldn't decide I went with the brown sugar boba milk. I'm a sucker for a brown sugar milk drink so of course this really appealed to me, and was a drink of theirs I saw posted on ig a lot as well. It didn't disappoint! It was sweet but not overbearing, and the boba was soft and chewy! My coworker went with the yogurt green tea and he enjoyed it as well! He liked that it was refreshing, with a strong tea flavor that didn't mask the Yakult flavor. You don't get to interact with the workers much since they take orders through the kiosk, so can't say much about customer service, but the drinks came out pretty fast, and of course aesthetically pleasing! It didn't taste anything like tea! Just milk with boba. I paid extra for fresh milk too like I usually do. I didn't want to drive all the way back so I threw it away. The Chino location is better. Right now, if you check in you can get a free topping! I got honey boba as my preferred topping. The tea was refreshing and I like their cheese foam! I ordered: Panda Milk Tea and Grapefruit Jasmine with agar (50% sugar). The milk tea base was good! The tea base I can taste. For regular sugar for milk tea it's perfect! No adjustments to sweetness for my taste. I'm surprised because I can't find other good milk teas anymore nowadays. Their boba however is a bit too soft. Maybe let the boba sit out a little longer after it finishes boiling. The grapefruit jasmine was pretty good too. There's actual grapefruit inside. The bitterness and the jasmine tea mixes well together. I usually never order something out of the blue (I'm basic. I visited this boba place mainly for their GOLD metal straws. I'm attracted to gold as my iPhone XS Max is. I ordered jasmine milk tea at 50% sweetness with red beans for my mom and asked how the Hokkaido milk tea was. The owner said it was good, and so I gave it a try. I tend to be hesitant about Hokkaido milk tea unless it's from Boiling Point because I don't like it tasting like coffee. After one sip into my Hokkaido milk tea with boba, I was delighted by its light and refreshing taste! Boiling Point's tastes much heavier. The boba was perfectly chewy. Comparing to Boiling Point, the owner told me that they use exact measurements because they're a factory. It shows that they care about consistency and quality of their drinks. I could see myself revisiting when I'm craving boba (which is every day). I just wish they opened a lot closer to home or school, like in Westminster or Irvine! Their cups are sturdy and as aesthetic as their interior design with the white marble tables, overhanging clouds in the back, and neon sign on one wall. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting your boba fix here. I visited my very first Sunright yesterday and it was this location. I had asked if you had lychee or honey to add to your green teas (since I didn't see it anywhere on the menu) and I got a "no". I wasn't offered any recommendations or suggestions either. When I went to pick up my drink, I retrieved it and looked at the barista, as she was the same one who had rung me up, hoping for a warmer reception as I was departing. I took the cup and waited a bit, hoping to hear a thank you. After a moment, I did get one, but it was soft and said during a middle of a turn away. And I always leave tips whenever I buy boba. But I felt like I was unwanted there. As a Mexican, its unfortunate that I get this alot at tea places. Sometimes I don't dress as dapper as I should, and I guess it makes me look grungy and like a criminal. I had the fruit tea and I really enjoyed my tea. I got it 75% sweet and it was just sweet enough! My sister got the yogurt green tea also 75% sweet but hers definitely tasted more like 50% sweet. She was quite disappointed in her drink. The boba itself was the right amount of chewy so that was good. My aunt got the boba and red bean milk - wow was it literally just those two ingredients plus milk. It actually tasted so much more milky than anything I've had before. As for their milk tea, it is also made fresh and creamy! I love how flavorable it is and it goes well with the boba. Only downside is if I try to save the boba for the next day it'll be too hard to chew so if you're trying to save the drink for the next day, I recommend getting a tea without toppings! Ordered Strawberry Matcha Latte today. The first sip has a strong cigarette taste which is very weird compare to those I ordered before. So I quickly stirred the drink and saw something dark. Then poured the whole drink out with filter to find out exactly what is inside. Another piece of dark thing came out which seemed to be a burnt piece. And the liquid part has a lot of dark scum in it. Brought the whole thing back to Sunright and they claimed they found the issue to be that batch of strawberry jam was rotting. For me it's hard to convinced that the burnt piece could appear in the strawberry jam even tho it's rotting. The staff remade another drink as compensation. I've been drinking Sunright at this location for almost a year. Will never come back to this location again with this kind of questionable hygiene issue. read more

Tried this place for the first time last week and I was very happy with my boba! I LOVE that they offer oat milk as a substitute for $1 extra, and I definitely prefer oat to almond milk since it has a creamier taste. This place is vegan/dietary restriction friendly because you can sub out the dairy for many drinks. I ordered the fresh milk (substitute oat milk) red bean boba and added taro, 75% sweet. It was absolutely delicious, though I wish I went with 100% sweetness. The red bean and taro are not too sweet and they taste fresh--the texture to both was awesome and speaks to their quality. My boyfriend ordered the taro milk tea with boba, 100% sweet, which I tried. The tea flavor is strong and fragrant, while the taro was smooth and creamy. I will say the two drinks themselves were not super sweet, so if you have a strong sweet tooth, I'd go for either the recommended sweetness level (100%) or a higher sweetness level (125%). I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area! The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was the customer service. I ordered online for the first time and stood in the store for about 7 minutes in front of 3 employees and not a single person offered to help me. A line started to form behind me as well. My order was actually ready for pick-up when I arrived, but it was behind other orders. People ended up moving other people's drinks to get to theirs, and I ended up having to handle someone else's order to get to mine. This doesn't seem to be the best practice for safety during COVID if customers are touching each other's drinks without gloves. read more

I hate to leave a bad review because it's one of my go-to boba places and I know mistakes happen when it gets busy, but today I ordered a brown sugar oat milk tea and they forgot to add tea so it was just oat milk with brown sugar. Went back to the store and asked for a remake. It was just one girl working today and it didn't seem busy. She took over the drink, tossed it in the trash and made me another one. She then realized there wasn't much oat milk left and added more tea to it. Now my drink tastes very much tea... They charge extra for Oat milk so I expect to get what I paid for or at least make it taste right. I just hope they can be more consistent and keep up with the quality of their drinks. read more

They charge $0.50 per topping. They didn't have passion fruit green tea, which is a bit odd. They did give me the sunrise fruit tea as the bogo free offer during their opening, even tho it's a bit more, so that was nice!
