The ambiance is pleasantly quiet. The waiter was nice and receptive. The food had wonderful taste. The thing that lowered their star rating for this reviewer was the very small amounts of meat in the meat dishes. I tried both the Mongolian Beef and the Thai peanut chicken over the last two visits and both times, the meat was only about 10% of the main dish (not including the rice.) The dishes were primarily vegetables. The old saying "Where's the beef?" is apropos here. read more

Came here today for Grandmas birthday lunch its a very hole in the wall place not a ton of tables but has that old school feel to it. My uncle goes here a lot and spoke highly. Started off with hot tea with a great price at 2$ then he made us get the crab cheese wonton, which their shapes very empanada looking but dang those things are good. They came out very fast and hot which is not complaint I just burned my lip. Entree was that lemongrass chicken lunch combo and for the price you get egg roll, rice, soup and the protein. All the food came out quick like a lunch should and our server was attentive making sure my picky grandma has her ice tea refills on deck. This place is not far from my work and I will be back to try at least 4 new things til I find my jam looking forward to the curry and basil chicken. Just ok. We have ordered delivery several times. The portion sizes are good, and the prices are decent, they had a buy one get one deal tonight. The delivery is fast. However the food is just meh. The pad Thai had a total of 4 shrimp and about 5 pieces of chicken, no veggies and zero spice. The sesame chicken is ok also, but again like 3 tiny pieces of broccoli and seriously spice. If you don't like spicy Chinese food, this is a good place though. We just prefer something with a little more flavor., read more

Little hidden gem! Their cream cheese wontons are the best I have ever had. Mongolian beef and Tao chicken were delicious.

We ordered the sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, and the royal chicken through UberEats tonight and i really enjoyed it! My favorite things were the sesame chicken and royal chicken, they were so tasty. The sesame chicken was still crispy by the time it made it to my place! The royal chicken had yummy cashews and veggies in it. I would order these two things over and over. I didn't love the Mongolian beef, mostly because the pieces of meat were pretty small and there was an overwhelming amount of onions. I love onions so this is saying a lot. I came here on a Saturday night and they got our party of 5 in with zero wait. The sesame chicken was fantastic, some of the best I've had and I love that they serve broccoli with it. The crab cheese wontons were also fantastic, and I love that they serve these cute and complimentary pineapple boats. Service was fast and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Very nice quaint place. Looks like they have a variety of Asian dishes. I couldn't take a picture as I was on a business meeting. I had the pad Thai with spicy level 3 I believe. No numbers but I think I was the third one up. It wasn't dry like most other places but the flavor was great. I enjoyed the dish and would eat it again. The hot and sour soup was good. Service, was great. Very quick and out drinks were never empty. This will definitely be in my radar for Thai food. They have an entire sushi counter in there as well. Overall, quick and tastes good. Tasty food! I was in the area and stumbled upon this restaurant for dinner and am so stoked I did. I ordered the sesame chicken and my bf got the thai curry lime beef. Both of these dishes were so good and had tons of flavor! Not only was the food good, but the portions were great and definitely left me have leftovers to enjoy the next day. They also bring out a pineapple boat dessert at the end of each meal and it really was a nice way to round out the dinner. Absolutely the worst Thai food I have ever had! First, the oder taker's personality was as bland as the Pad Se Ew. She even made me go back to my car to get a penny. As for the Pad Se Ew, it was so bland a ten year old could make it the same way. Throw a bunch of noodles in a bowl with some chicken and there you have Wild Basil's Pad Se Ew. We have been long time customers (10 years or so) but recently have had very disappointing food/experience. Ordered the appetizer ribs about a month ago and they were so over cooked and dried out we couldn't even eat them. Had a few orders where they missed some items. Called and they corrected. Ordered grilled chicken Vietnamese noodle bowl night before last and chicken was not cooked. Called to advise and they offered a credit for next purchase. There will NOT be a next purchase. Did takeout and was overall pleased! Borderline ok/good but will round up since it's always tough to tell with take out. The ordering process was extremely easy over the phone and took about 15 minutes from ordering to picking it up. Food was overall good (would probably give it a 3.5/5) but not the most amazing Thai we've had. We got a pad see ew which was tasty but not quite the same as what we were used to and also a Panang curry. Great taste to the curry, but literally just carrots inside and no other veggies. This review is based on Take-Out only. Oy vey. The restaurant is right down the street from my house. I ordered a pu pu platter and hot and sour soup with crispy noodles. My husband ordered the drunken noodles. The skewer meat was so overcooked, I couldn't chew it or remove it from the stick. I ended up giving it to my dog. I just couldn't get it off of the stick. My husband enjoyed his drunken noodles, despite the fact that the noodles were undercooked. I prefer undercooked to overcooked, so they get a pass for that. The egg rolls tasted frozen, and poorly such. I am not a snob to frozen egg rolls; I buy them for my kids, but these were cold and sad and inedible. The soup was like water. Literally, soup-flavored water. I really had hoped to enjoy it all. I love supporting local businesses. But now I think I am going to need to vomit. Two stars because my husband liked his dish. My sister's and I decided to have lunch there the other day and it was so good!! It's so cute like almost a retro vibe in there. The service is top notch. And the food is amazing! Uhh... well there's nothing wrong with this place, but the food isn't too good. We got the Miso soup, dragon roll, caterpillar roll, and rainbow roll. The actual sushi (like the raw salmon and tuna and yellow fish) was rubbery, tasted like literal CHLORINE... and it kind of scared me since I didn't want to eat old fish and get food poisoning. We came here on Christmas day thinking that this was a Thai restaurant but it's actually a combination of Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese and that's not an issue but the thing is the food wasn't that great. Ok, yes, but not more. It's definitely edible, nothing wrong with it and everything tasted fresh however my dish and the samples I tried from my wife's and daughter's ones were a little bland. Not the level of flavor you'd expect from Asian food, even the eggroll appetizers were a little weird and below expectation. Another good thing about this place is their nice flexibility with Gluten Free options, they can make almost any dish GF which is very nice. So to wrap this up: ok place, nothing wrong with it but to get to 4 and 5 stars for me the food has to be more interesting and flavorful. read more

Well, I am visiting from SoCal and my parents are newly transplants to CO from SoCal, so we tend to compare the taste based on what we are accustomed to in SoCal. FOOD: The fried rice that came with our dishes, well, it is not what I would say a real fried rice. To us, it is just steamed rice mixed with a little bit of soy sauce heated in a little oil type. Curry was okay, but if I have a say so, I wish it could be a little thicker curry. The other two, although they are supposed to be two different dishes, it just appeared and tasted like they cooked the same way. And depending on what the customer wants for meat, they just add the customer's choice of meat. Egg roll...nothing special, just blend to my taste. Hot and Sour soup was my highlight of the dining experience. It was up to my expectations. INTERIOR: Very nice and clean in the dining room area from what I saw. Couldn't help notice a gigantic sriracha sauce bottle from the ceiling. Pretty cool I might add. For the restroom, I was told it needed a clean up. Hours: Weekend hours are always a shocker to us. All of us are used to going to eat at 11:00am (sometimes even 10:30am) on weekends in SoCal. We find it very strange that a lot of restaurants here in CO would not open until 12 noon on weekends. Including this location. PARKING: Parking is plentiful but I notice it filled up quickly. PAYMENT: At the time we dined, there was an offer on Groupon for 20% off if we sign up our credit card number with Groupon and pay with that card at the restaurant. I did that and worked perfectly. This place had four star reviews so I tried it. The food was mostly inedible. We had the appetizers. The chicken on a stick was a mystery meat. The crab Rangoon was so over cooked we couldn't eat it. I absolutely love Asian food. This was total let down. read more

I visited this place again because my old favorite was starting to slow down on changing their frier oil and it was leaving a bitter taste on their food. I was hoping for another local Asian option. I ordered the Thai Lime beef special. I did really like the beef flavor but texture wasn't great for me. Old review: have no idea why people are so happy with this place. I've had problems with food having freshness or quality or good flavor. Can't comment on service since we have always gotten delivery as they're one of the few close by options. The spring rolls are not desirable to me at all. They are mostly stringy tough cabbage filled and have no rice noodles like more authentic Thai spring rolls usually do. My bf likes to order the peanut chicken curry noodle dish which has an "okay" peanut sauce in some bloated soba noodles which I find gross. I think they have some of the WORST Drunken Noodles I've ever had: very weak flavored sauce, not "fresh noodles", minimal ingredients added- arrived with no egg, no tomato, no basil and basically no flavor. Ordered Generals chicken here twice- once it was good, the second time and my last time ordering there it tasted like the meat was really old and stale and had a lot of chewy cartilage in the bites. I tossed most of the container because it was inedible. I sadly drive further from my house to visit Udom Thai when I want to get good quality and flavorful Thai food. read more

We ordered over the phone and had delivered. We have come here for years and years. Unfortunately it's just getting worse and worse. They have forgotten things in our orders before however tonight everything was either wrong or not there at all. For the first time we called to rectify the situation and they gave a "credit" to our account... what. Worst part is they didn't include a receipt tonight. "Could" not send to us either.
