Our children entered into public school well above their peers in regards to subjects like math and reading but, more importantly, they were more mature, knew how to be kind friends, and were ready to learn. You have to walk through the front door to access the care center. Education was our second concern. Every child in day care is taught to prepare for kindergarten. It seems like our child moving from kindergarten is ready for 2nd grade. Communication and kindness. Ahren's staff are very communication heavy. They made going through Covid easy and painless. They call and email information as well as group and one on one face to face. Ahren's is not your typical day care or education institution, it's a family, you feel like family. I highly recommend Ahren's to parents wanting their child to have that edge for the future.

Margarita is the best! She knows every child by name, greets them (and the parents!) every morning with a big smile, and always finds a way to make each child feel special, whether it's with a sticker, a small gift, or just her kind encouragement. My son is in the Tiger class with Miss Carolyn, Miss Rebecca, and Miss Esly, and they are amazing! He has such a blast every day. They use this messaging app called Learning Genie and they send us pictures of what they're doing and updates and it really helps make us feel involved throughout the day. He recently transitioned from a half-day to a full-day program, and he's thriving, coming home with crafts, stories, and new skills. He's even starting to read at just four years old! I really appreciate how invested the teachers and staff are in each child's growth. They take the time to communicate with parents, provide progress reviews, and share what areas our kids are excelling in or can work on. You can tell they truly care. While tuition can be on the higher side, they do offer scholarships and subsidized programs depending on financial need. Because of that, there is often a waiting list, so if you're considering enrolling, plan ahead! Overall, this school deserves every bit of five stars. However, the teachers at this Kinder location have been so helpful. The kinder app is updated throughout the day and has eased my stress greatly. I can check in and see what my babies are doing at any time of the day. My kids are so happy at pick up and tell me all of the activities they did for the day. The most important piece for me is that the teachers have been so communicative. They're so attentive to my kids' feelings and growing phases. I have had a great experience with the center's director, Ms. Alyssa as well as the receptionist, Ms. Sarah. Initially I had so many questions. we were new to daycare, new to the area, and we are not from the state. We weren't sure of what we needed to make the transition for our children the smoothest. Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Sarah readily answered all of my random questions and helped us at each step. Lastly, I absolutely love that each month there are fun activities for the kids to participate in; ie, holiday parties, center celebrations, dress up days, Disney days. I would recommend this center to other parents. My babies are safe, happy, and are properly cared for.

Our daughters were only enrolled for 4 short months. In those months, we've experienced a poorly ran facility, stressed out "teachers" and child neglect. The 2 year old room consistently smelled like toddler poop from the moment of drop off to the moment of pick up. The teachers are unwelcoming and most seem to have no desire to be there. I would name drop but THEY know who they are. They put on their phone and have all of the little kids surrounding the phone watching CocoMelon. If i wanted my kids on a tablet or a phone, trust me I'd keep them home. I never saw youtube kids under their curriculum schedule. Next time please mention that during the TOUR. Our LAST and FINAL straw at this horrendous facility was when my partner picked up my 4 year old around 445pm. She was sitting, isolated on a chair because she had soiled her clothing during her naptime. Nobody bothered to give us a call and she had woken up from her nap around 2pm so HOURS had passed before we even got to pick her up. The following day when we went to unenroll the girls and talk with the director. She was very rude, unapologetic and kept reiterating that she wasn't there yesterday etc. Surely, they have policies and protocols in place when accidents like this happen. Nobody gave us a courtesy call and ALLL the teachers knew about her accident during nap time. They kept saying they support us and they understand and it was messed up that no one gave us a call and just had my daughter sitting, isolated for hours. Because of this, my child feels humiliated and is ultimately traumatized at the experience and behavior of these adults. I am appalled at the way they treated my child. I emailed corporate about it. I would not recommend this place EVEN if you're desperate. I promise there are better options out there.

Evidently I never did, so. Here it is. I booked a cabin for thanksgiving 2015 (through hotels.com). We showed up early on Thursday the 26th and where so happy that they let us check in early. In full disclosure we showed up at 10am and our check-in was not until 2pm. I was freaking out since the place seemed abandoned. My husband kept telling me to relax, its early. It was such an amazing experience and truly was perfect. It was snowing , the place was empty except for 2 other families. We arrived with our 2 bulldogs who we walked around EVERYWHERE!!!!! See pictures Fast forward to Dec 9th. I receive an email from Nickie telling me that she is going to charge my credit card an extra 156 for pretty much destroying the room and the icing on the cake is when she states "we don't allow dogs" Really ?? It wasnt an issue to have dogs when i booked theough hotela.com and i always make sure that the place is pet friendly. It wasnt an issue when nickie finally greeted me and checked me and my famliy in. One of my bulldogs was with with me when i filled out the papetwork. It wasnt an issue when the maitence guy showed us to our cottage and helped walk one of the dogs in. BUT IT WAS AN ISSUE ONCE WE CHECKED OUT and she took the liberty to charge my credit card and send me an email telling me btw..... Really ??? She charged me more than it cost to book the room! This was definitely surreal. Add injury to insult they had the audacity to inform hotels.com that I cancelled. So I was still charged for a late cancelation and have now opened a case with hotels.com since I want to receive my credit that was removed when "SOMEONE" from this place told them that I had cancelled directly with them. I can't start to describe how frustrated and upset I am. Shame on this place for lying & over charging me. My 1 night stay turned into a $400 ordeal. I would suggest booking elsewhere!! So organized too, I especially love the monthly calendars to help parents stay involved in what their kids are learning. My 3 year old started at the ROCK Quality Childcare September 3, 2024. Since then she has been…read morethriving through her teachers. Her motor skills, academic education, socialization, and personality have blossomed and thrived through the nurture, love, and structure her teachers and the preschool provide. They work with potty training and her learning experience has been absolutely incredible! The hours are 7am-5:30pm and each classroom has their own little mascot! She started out as a Busy Bee (2-3 year old class) and has now progressed to the Blooming Butterflies class (3-4 year old class). I cannot wait for my baby girl to join the Rowdy Raccoons (4-5 year old class) for the new year coming up and prepare for kindergarten and graduation there after. The hours work amazing for my college and work schedule and they do not go by the school district, so they are open a lot more days than other preschools nearby. They are open during winter breaks, spring break, most 3 day weekend holidays, and it has helped a lot with both my work and school. We are so glad we found this absolute incredible preschool! It is so scary as a parent to find and place the trust of your child with others, and here, that fear goes away instantly when seeing how fast your child just connects, bonds, and loves going there to see their teachers! I highly recommend the ROCK Preschool to anyone looking for a safe, warm, nurturing, and caring environment for little ones to grow and thrive at. Not to mention, the playgrounds!
