Traveling back to Savannah when I saw this restaurant listed at the Brunswick exit. Thought I would stop in and give them a try. This is a very clean well decorated mom and pop restaurant. The server was extremely friendly and responsive. I got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The portion size was just right. The food was hot and very good. One of the best breakfast places I've ever been too! A spectacular find on our family vacation. Clean establishment with very attentive and friendly waitstaff. Our breakfast choices were phenomenal: NY cheesecake pancakes, kids Mickey Mouse pancakes with ham, steak omelette, egg white veggie omelet (filled with an abundant amount of fresh spinach, mushroom, onion and avocado), and and the pancakes were golden and fluffy. Thank you so much Kimberly d! We had a party of six and we were starving! Two young boys who eat like horses and four adults. Boy did we eat. We ordered some cheese fries and cheese sticks just to take the edge off and they came out hot and good. I had the shrimp and I'm amazed at how much they give you. We had everything from a chicken fajita omelette to the biggest hamburger I think I've ever seen! We had catfish, Belgian waffles and eggs. Everything was delicious. What amazes me the most was our waitress Kimberly d. Didn't write anything down, but she brought out everything exactly as we ordered it! That's a waitress who knows her job! Tea and pop were kept filled as were our tummies. This is diner food but it's done really well. The food is homemade and delicious, I mean really really good. We went after I told my husband about it changing from IHOp. We went for evening meal. Lori was our waitress and she was great! I ordered the chicken fried steak. It was perfect, crispy yet tender. My husband ordered the steak and shrimp. He loved it. The shrimp used are fresh and local, plus hand breaded. The steak was cooked to order. I guess this place used to be an IHOP. Seemed similar. It was early and I wanted some breakfast. This place seemed nice, ok reviews, so thought I'd check it out. Good service, friendly. Had coffee and saw one of my favorite items on the menu, which is Swedish Crepes, served with lingonberry butter. That's what I ordered and also got a side of bacon. Now, I love this dish and have had it many times. This was not good. I guess it wasn't lingonberry butter, but just lingonberries and just butter on top together, mixed into a goo..strange and unappetizing looking. Crepes were too thick and not sweet..flavor was just off. I am a big believer in the "less is more" rule. If you don't know how to make something, keep it off the menu. No restaurant needs a huge menu, just keep it to a few things you can do really well or know how to do. Since this is a dish I really like, I was pretty disappointed. Bacon was limp and not crispy, so no validation there. Crepes, side of bacon and a coffee..$13 and change? Hard pass! read more

I used to LOVE this place but seems like they have slowly gone down hill. The wait staff is rude, and it appears they have new cooks because the food just isn't the same. I was in there earlier this week and my Philly cheesesteak was completely burnt. The waitress did take it off my bill, but it shouldn't have been burnt in the first place because it was not even busy. Not to mention the 20 min wait time on two plates of food. I sometimes order the hibachi dinner and it used to be delicious. Now it's just bland and the shrimp keep getting smaller and smaller. I wish they would go back to the old way. read more

We have been twice, once while they were slow and another while they had a wait out the door. Both times we we're greeted with smiles at the door. Service has always been spot on with smiles and frequent check-ins. The food is good. I definitely recommend the eggs rancheros with the eggs ordered easy eggs and side of avocado. This is a locals favorite place. The parking lot is always packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings so you may have to park in another lot. The food is excellent. I've had the poached egg Benedict here before- ask for the Hollandaise sauce on the side, I didn't enjoy it. It soaked into everything and made it tasteless. Besides that, the egg was poached perfectly the English muffin was wonderful. I've also had the crepe with chicken and spinach. Forgot what it was called. But that was wonderful too!
