Schedule service and recall appointment with pickup and drop off. 2 hours late for pickup. Was called truck ready will drop off next day around 10:30am. 11am Rolls around and nothing. Took a good hour to get someone on the phone. No paper trail of the drop off. Told them we'd just pick up please have everything ready as I'm leaving work to do this. I wanted to give them the gift of my business but they didn't seem to care. Wanted to go way over kbb value for their vehicle and way under for mine. Exceptionally rude customer service by Dan on a simple phone call to schedule a routine oil change. He made it apparent that my phone call was a major inconvenience to him and it wasn't hard to ascertain that this person hates his job and is unhappy with life in general. I could feel the miserableness and pure DISTAIN he had for me, the customer, where he speed-talked and rapidly responded in monotone or even cut me off to get off the phone as soon as possible. I was there trying to get into a new vehicle and was approached by a salesman when he offered to show me a car I wasn't reluctant but skeptical. So I offered to go along with the credit check to see it I could only get approved. After 30minutes he told me no one approved me. The next day he called me claiming he found someone and that I could be approved. So I go in a few weeks later and he sells me a car but not at the msrp that was promised. Bill, our salesman, was amazing! He listened very well to what I was looking for, after hours of looking I couldn't find anything I liked. Luckily a day later a car came in that fit what I wanted and he called me immediately to let me know and was super helpful and personable through the entire process. I would give him 5 stars if this review was solely for him. On the other hand, my first experience with the service department wasn't the best. When I brought the car home it was leaking coolant but they towed the car and fixed everything the next day. I then had to bring the car back in the day after due to a weird noise when the car was turning off which was very loud and noticeable which I thought it would be something they'd be able to notice as well. It turned out to be the alternator and they took care of that and replaced it for me. During the process, the communication wasn't the best while trying to get ahold of them, and I wasn't notified when the car was ready, I had to call quite a few times with no answer from service, until I actually texted Stuart (service advisor) who replied fairly quickly! While being at service, they were all very nice and answered any question that I had and were helpful. I know things happen and I am grateful they fixed the issues. It was just a stressful first week with the car. Over all I have recommended Bill and sunrise ford to many friends already and love stopping in there to say hi! read more

I just moved to the area and I was looking for a Ford Dealership to service my van. I researched Sunrise Ford and I decided that based on most of the reviews that I would receive good service so I scheduled my van for an oil change. I scheduled my service online and I did receive two confirming emails from my Service Advisor confirming my appointment. I called the day of my service and stated that I would be dropping my keys off in the drop box instead of waiting for my vehicle. Several hours (5) went by and I heard nothing from the dealership, so I decided to call. When I called the Service Dept. I spoke with a woman who took my name and stated that she had to go find my vehicle. She came back on the phone and stated that they could not find my vehicle. I was shocked. She put me on hold and told me she needed to speak with someone. When she came back on the phone she told me that my van is going on the lift now (11:30 am-keep in mind I had an appointment for 9:30 am). After this conversation, my husband and I drove to the dealership and asked the woman for my vehicle ( it was now 12:30 pm), she told me it still wasn't ready. I asked to speak with the Service Manager. When the Service Manager (SN) came to speak with me, I told him what happened and explained to him that he needs to work on getting his team to communicate with customers a little better. He stated, "my team is just fine." And I told him if your team was fine, it wouldn't have taken 5 hours for an oil change. I honestly don't know how they could be fine when they provide such poor customer service. They need customer service training and they need to learn how to communicate better with the customers. Customers shouldn't have to call the dealership for updates! The manager did take care of the bill for my oil change. But because of the overall incompetence of Sunrise Ford's Service Department, I do not believe I will go back. The manager was defensive when I spoke about his staff and he kept telling me that "people make mistakes." Well if he believes that was just a simple mistake then he just might be the issue. I was always taught that customers make paydays possible and that customers are always right. Maybe Sunrise Ford's Service Department needs to learn that lesson. Just down right horrible service and horrible personal interactions with the people in the Service Department. I would not patronize this dealership for service-it just might be worth the extra miles to go to another dealership that focuses on customer service. Tried to negotiate a used vehicle purchase with a sales manager that had no play in him as far as their ridiculously overpriced high mileage used truck I was interested in. It was weird, and then I realized that maybe it's because I'm female. I thought about sending a human with a Y-chromosome in to offer cash at the price point I was willing to go up to. But then, I found an awesome truck from a private seller that was better, and with less mileage. I would not recommend Sunrise Ford for purchasing or service. My problem with the dealership Is I went online Wednesday mornin, February 17, 2021 to schedule service for my vehicle. Made my appointment for Monday, February 22, 2021, @ 2:15 - appointment schedule. Later in the afternoon I received a call from the service department stating they are unable to make service appointment that I need to reschedule and the next open appointment is March 22, 2021. Very poor customer service. NOTE: (02-19-2021). Follow-up comments on Sunrise Ford located in Ft. Pierce, Florida. It's sad, I had to submit my comments on "Yeld" before I got any assistance from the dealership. Yes, I received a call from upper management (Rachel) wanting to provide me with service assistance. NEVER AGAIN! First and last time I'll take any of my vehicles to Sunrise Ford for service. My truck service engine light came on, so I made an appt and dropped off my vehicle the night prior. My truck sat there for 8 days before anyone looked at it. On day 9 (a Fri) they advised it was repaired and ready. Upon recovery I was told a vacuum hose was replaced. The cost was $518 -- for replacing a $3 vacuum hose. I paid (what choice did I have?) and when I went to drive away I noticed the service engine light was still on. I advised the service manager Steve who was very apologetic. He test drove my truck and advised that an additional vacuum hose should have been replaced and said to bring it back the following week. Five days later I was told the part was in and that it would be a 3-5 minute job. Fifty-five minutes later I was told my vehicle was ready. Went I started my truck it had a rough idle and threaten to stall without revving the engine. They brought it back into the shop. Thirty minutes later I was told it was ready, but it still had the same problem. I was told to bring it back the following week. Instead I took it to a mechanic buddy of mine who replaced two additional vacuum hoses and reattached the air intake sensor that Sunrise Ford had left dangling unattached. It took him about 10 minutes to effect repairs in his driveway using parts he had laying around in his garage. He refused any payment, but I forced him to take $20. Sunrise Ford should be ashamed and embarrassed. If they have any sense of decency and honor they will contact me to refund my money and offer an apology. read more

I tried for 3 days to have the service manager call me back. He never did! I left 2 messages for the General Manager to call me back. He never did! Finally called again and got the service manager. I explained that I was going out of town for the next 6 months and while cleaning my car I couldn't get one of my 3rd row seats to lie flat. I needed that storage area for items I was taking with me. He said there was nothing he could do since they are very busy. He told me to contact another Ford Dealership in my area. But I explained, I bought the car from Sunrise. I asked him to just have someone look at it and see if they could somehow get it to lay flat and deal with actually fixing it at a latter date. That wasn't an option either with him. In my 52 years of owning a vehicle, I have never had this type of service or lack of service from a car dealership. I was planning to purchase a new Expedition this fall upon my return to Florida but I guarantee it will not be through Sunrise Ford. They have NO customer loyalty or do they give a damn about you! Worst of all they don't even have the courtesy to call you back! If Mike Wetzel and his wife Mary Jo were stilling running this dealership this kind of situation would never happen. Do yourself a BIG FAVOR and use another ford dealership in the area!! Well, I took the advise of the service manager at Sunrise when he said contact another dealership. I called Essential Ford in Stuart and they are just as busy. However, the service scheduler understood my "Delima" and she fit me in to have someone look at my problem. Turned out the front part of the seat came off its track bar and it was fixed in less than five minutes at NO COST!! Essential now has a new customer. No one was able to assist me correctly or as a customer or client of a Ford truck owner getting tires done from a warranty. I had a tow in they said they completely don't even know if my car was on their lot for two days. Called in on Friday evening Sarah seemed pretty helpful at first. Then apparently she had the day off I called and got her assistant which I knew nothing was going to be done. Sunday they're closed. Monday rolls around and apparently the phones are down all morning. Sarah is on break as I enter into the service department. No one came up to me to expressed somebody was going to be with you shortly. Then I try and pick up my car and they can't even extend a courtesy car or Uber. I can honestly never grab a hold of anybody from the service department because they're all busy probably fucking each other with the manager so I just have to leave voice mails and pray someone calls me back.. which they don't. I have talk to the manager as well and he couldn't even extend a full payment to something that wasn't even my fault as a first time customer. Really shows that they really want to keep you as a returning customer they just want to take your money. Never never never bringing my car back! Samantha at quick lane is amazing. The rest of the dealership, in my opinion, is horrible. I have had my vehicle brought there twice because it would go into "deep sleep" mode randomly and they can't seem to figure it out. They are terrible at communicating with the customer and refuse to keep you aware of the progression so you can make arrangements. The lady who answers the phone in the service department is rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional with her attitude. I left a message for the service manager to call so I can address these issues and he refuses to call back. When I went to buy my Fusion there they wouldn't try to locate the vehicle I wanted but rather kept pushing me to buy what was in their lot. I have been bringing my 05 expedition to then since it was new. no one else has worked on this vehicle. It only has 120,000 mile on it . I brought it in for basic serive,oil change brake line flush and a few other things. I told them that my tpms light was on and they said I need new sensors which was quite pricey. bill for every thing was well over a thousand dollars. I get a call saying that they cant get the light to turn off and it will have to be diagnosed and it will cost 140.00 for a diagnosis. I am already in for over a grand and you tell me it needed new sensors, what were you guessing. I say go ahead and I have to keep calling them.finally they tell me the car is ready. When I get to the service desk they cant find the paper work a total fiasco. i get in the car and the light is still on. Paper work says the vsm module is no longer available. No communication what so ever with the customer.. I went a bought a TPMS scan tool and within 15 minutes had the sensors programmed and the light is off. I dont know what has happened at this place in the last few years but I wont be going back. It is not as convenient for me but I will be taking my vehicle to Mulinex ford in vero read more

I love the service here no complaints. I have had a few issues in the past regarding severe recalls which were promptly corrected and I was back on the road. I picked up my Ford Expediation in December after reaching out to FORD CORPORATE and making a formal complaint. Finally got someone to work on my vehicle and guess what: after 3 weeks of the laziest business on earth and doing nothing-they did all the work to my vehicle in 1 day! I never received an apology or explanation-only silence. The vehicle seemed to work well-but it's now been 2 months and GUESS WHAT- its making the same noise I brought it in for the 1st time! I called the service department to find out if the work I had done was warrantied or something and had to leave a message with RON! SHOCKER: nobody ever returned my call. More complaints to be lodged with CORPORATE SOON!! Never ever take your vehicle to this FORD dealership/service! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!
