Vin number matching their offer put into edmunds

The practice of adding THOUSANDS on to $ for extras and making them MANDATORY is illegal in Fla. Yet there are several complaints on BBB regarding this very issue. What they do is put them in very small print.Under the bottom of the offer. Ultimate truck, I was looking at.They said they had sold there twice traded in by other customers. If these extras are mandatory, wouldn't they have been done at the first sale?How many times can you charge a person 2500. For ETCHING ? I'm reporting this to the florida attorney general.It is clearly any legal practice, after I walked away, they used dealed trick of calling me a few days later and asking me if I was coming for my appointment in order to start the conversation.that night , which of course I did not have, I told her I wasn't interested and why, she then offered to take 1000.00 dollars off of the 30,000, yet the extras they had added on including Etching , appearance package ( wax) , a low jack , 1000.00 for DOC FEES , etc equaled 4647.00. I told her repeatedly.I was not interested, she said, well think about it.And call me back, I told her I don't need to think about it. I had put that very vin number into edmunds, which has been around forever, it valued it at 18, 246. This used to be a great place.It's not anymore. To blatantly lie and say an etching and a low jack and wax are mandatory, they also have a special category called "installed packages" , they never would explain what that is. Did florida attorney general needs to stop these practices. I also found that truck listed online for 25, 798. The exact price they offered me prior to adding the $4647. This is an illegal practice clearly to draw you in waste hours of your time.Hope you get attached and overcharge you ridiculously.They need to post the out the door price and stop wasting our time. Bottom line go somewhere else.

Differential seal blow out

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Charlie Brenner, Service Manager at Sunrise Ford. I brought my 2024 Ford Transit in for a recurring issue--a leak from the differential seal--which had already been "repaired" once before. Instead of taking responsibility, Charlie gave me countless excuses and suggested I continue driving the vehicle until they had availability, completely disregarding the risk to my safety and my business operations. When I asked for the General Manager's contact information to escalate the issue, he refused to provide it as well did the Sale Manager. I had to get it from another dealership, where the staff was far more helpful and professional. Only after contacting the GM did I finally receive the attention I deserved. To make matters worse, Charlie raised his voice at me when I asked him to put his recommendation (to keep driving the damaged vehicle) in writing, as I no longer trusted his word. This isn't the first instance of negligence either--during a previous service, the techs filled only 6 quarts of oil into a 12-quart engine, and all I got was a simple apology. Mistakes happen, but repeated errors combined with dishonesty and poor treatment are unacceptable. As a business owner, my vehicle is essential, and being told "that's your problem" shows complete disregard for customers. Warranties exist for a reason, and proper repairs should involve diagnosing the root cause, not just replacing faulty parts. I hope Sunrise Ford takes a serious look at how their service department is run because no customer should have to fight this hard for basic respect and proper service. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. Went for a bumper repair. When I picked it up they charged me more than we…read moreagreed upon for "hardware" to reinstall the front lip spoiler. Mind you all the brand new OEM hardware was given to them by me. Few weeks later the lip fell off. Turns out they didn't line up the lip properly to the underbelly pan so none of the holes line up. So they drove a bunch of cabinet screws into the underbelly pan to "secure the lip". They also didn't use any of the OEM hardware they removed that secured the lip to the bumper. they also didn't use not reinstall the grille properly and damaged it. This was also a brand new grille. I also found paint drips so I talked to them about fixing the paint. I elected to remove the bumper myself and being it to them. Dropped it off and a week later Danny tells me that there's cracks in the bumper. I told him they weren't there when I dropped it off, the bumpers been in their shop for 7-8 days at this point and he apparently just starting to work on it. Danny tells me come the next morning and it will be ready. Show up, nothings been touched. Take it out of frustration and figure I'll just have to pay a better shop to do it over. Danny apologizes and says he's shorthanded and if I bring it back and he will fix it personally. Take the bumper back again. Danny it'll be done that day. It's not. Come two days later. Paint is touched up slightly. Grille is WORSE than before. Huge gaps between grille and bumper that he managed to somehow make bigger than when I dropped it off. And he let his sander hit the lip spoiler (which is black plastic and was also BRAND NEW) leaving a massive white sanding scrape on it. BUYER BEWARE. AWFUL WORK. AWFUL TO DEAL WITH. WONT STAND BY HIS WORK. I have never seen a service business run this poorly.

Not a great experience. When they saw the car they anticipated 2-weeks depending on parts; 3 1/2…read moremonths later picked up the car. The more frustrating thing is that they're always gonna call to advise, but they never, ever do. One of the times we called while we never received a call back they sent us a pic of our car w/o any explanation WTH? Finally they call say it's done, we go, now no one knows we got a call to come get it so they look all over for the folder...finally after abt 15 mins they find; but no one's checked the car...AND the emblems are missing...after the almost 4 mo they have to order, now why wouldn't that have been done somewhere in the almost 4 months?? AND after leaving we found out Jack and parts are missing, they advised they took them out to do the repair but can't find...yet another thing they have to order could be a week, they'll call us . Aft almost 2-wks they never called, we did, magically just arrived. They don't seem organized and while we understand busy etc there's no excuse of why every single commitment of anything is never made. The work looks good BUT on their lack of pretty much everything related to customer service, made this an awful experience. I mean after a month/almost 4-mo when they said 2 -wks never returning a call is NOT good. We never ever called daily, so it's not like we were a PIA. Based on their forgetting the emblems altho the removed ones were bagged and in the trunk and the jack stuff that was missing there's obviously no quality control and their lack of communications not only to us but internally should not happen. What if we had a flat and didn't know all needed to fix wouldn't be there, it was when we dropped off the car! They did take the car to the dealership on sensors. Overall based on everything a miserable experience, if anyone asked I'd say look elsewhere for repairs.

My vehicle was involved in an accident and was taken to Gerber Collision for repairs. While it was…read morebeing serviced, they fixed some of the damage, but not all of it. When I came to pick it up, they had called me to inform me that it was complete. However, I didn't make it out of the parking lot before a charging system issue light came on my dashboard. This indicates that the vehicle wasn't thoroughly tested or driven to ensure the quality of their workmanship. They allowed the car battery to drain while it was being serviced and sent it to Tires Plus for inspection because I had only replaced the battery two months prior. Tires Plus replaced the battery under their warranty, but the issue persisted. They eventually determined that the alternator had failed either due to the accident or while the vehicle was being serviced, and the battery was depleted. During an argument with the Gerber representative, they refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing and didn't attempt to fix the problem. As a result, the vehicle is in worse condition than before the accident.
