I have never ventured to try it and I have always assumed that it was undigestible and disgusting. But I decided that if it's on the menu at this swaggy establishment that I may as well give it a try. I went for the eggs with scrape. I never expected it to come out so fancy. It was cooked to perfection and the eggs were the perfect cook for such an adventure to my tastebuds. It had a fresh bed of greens that we're drizzled with a vinegarette. Everything was delicious and the staff was amazing. I actually dropped my wallet and couldn't find it for one day and when I called they said it was in the manager's office. Kudos to an amazing staff and establishment. I found out upon retreaving my wallet that they have a great HH and that on the first Friday, it's a special hh so I will be back!

We stayed in the Birds Nest Suite, which was so named because there was a little door in the corner that lead out to one of the "towers" and there were birds nests there. The grounds were really peaceful and the couple that owns it were really nice. They cooked up an elegant and tasteful breakfast to boot. In easy walking distance to a few restaurants in town--this place is a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Dewey or even Lewes.

I booked this B&B on a whim to go see an old friend who owns a business in this town. I did a…read moresearch for B&Bs in the area, and chose this one because it was 1. 1 block away from my friend, and 2. truly seemed "lost in the era". I really can't stand B&B'd that have been too modernized. I had to call to book the reservation as the website requests a call before booking any room that is within 24-48 hours of the date requested. I did and the owner was just wonderful on the phone. I got an instant confirmation via email on my booking, and the day of arrival a quick text message confirming my arrival expectation. I was greeted at the door and Mike saw me in. Don't miss taking time to see Miss Louise, the house feline, who believes everyone is just coming to see her! Mike carried my bags up for me and showed me to Amelia's Room. A nice front room with huge poster bed. The room was so nicely decorated with touches of pink and lace. A large fireplace stood center of the main wall. A full private bath with shower. I snapped pics of the room and sent them to my daughter who promptly replied with "GET THE DOLLS OUT!" lol. If dolls creep you out, just ask Mike to remove them in advance! As mentioned, the room faced the main road and so Mike was kind enough to mention that pulling the blinds down would also require pulling the heavy drapes over to eliminate street lights penetrating. He was right! Each room is given a lock code unique to the occupant - a nice touch. The front door has a code box lock as well, very convenient. The house is amazing, and I am sure I did not see everything while there, even though I walked each of the common rooms. Each is appointed with fantastic antiques and art work. The book collection will astound you if you are a book lover like me. I spent the evening in the 3rd floor lounge, sitting on the sweetest of chaise lounges, reading, while enjoying the quiet of a book filled 1850's home! Mike texted me in the morning to let me know that he would make breakfast for me whenever I was ready. Since i was the only guest for this particular morning, I sat at the kitchen island and had the most wonderful conversation while sipping my choice of tea, juice and fruit cup as Mike made me a delicious omelet. We walked in the garden afterwards and you can see all the love he has put into this home. He does it all himself, and truly makes you feel completely at home. Hmmm, seems more like the pool is available for school season only. Games room also closed. These closures should be listed on their website and not told when you arrive. It seems to be the season for giant horse flies too so reader, think carefully if this is a campground you want to come to. On a positive note, it is very peaceful and sites are spacious with lots of shade.

We said no, because we were just tenting it and their power center has 110V and that is all we need. Had to go back later to get said adapter because none of the 110V outlets work. So she got short with us because now we needed it. Apparently once these outlets quit working they don't fix them. Too expensive. Later we find that the 30A outlet doesn't work either. So, we used the neighboring site outlet. Bath house was clean albeit rather dated looking. There was about 2 feet of green mold on the outside. These people are crazy with dozens of rules and signs everywhere. A bit over the top. Speed limit signs are in 1/2 mph increments. Still trying to figure that one out. We probably won't be back.
