Perfect dip nails everytime! Stay looking great for weeks after.

The first time I went- it was great. 5 stars. It was a younger looking Lady that did my nails. I asked for something a little funky and she totally got it. Honestly I wish I got her name for future appointments. Because this time I went it was 1 star. The lady was in a rush & didn't take care of the dead skin around the nail, until I pointed it out, & then she ripped the skin to the point were it's bleeding. Nails also weren't close to even until I asked about that. Just disappointed. I would definitely over communciate. read more

David has consistently made my powder dip manicures last at least 3-4 weeks with no chips, looking beautiful except for the nail growth. David is thorough and takes time in each step doing everything meticulously to make sure the powder dip manicure is strong and lasts. They have a large selection of powder dip colors and gel polish colors. The salon is clean and is pretty easy to get an appt at, Saturdays book up in advance, Wednesday is the easiest day to walk in or get an appt, Wednesdays before 3pm the salon is nearly empty, its the best time to go. Just be aware they're closed Tuesdays, their online hours don't show that yet, it's a recent change. Prices for powder dip manicures are $35 and pedicures start at $20. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! They don't use onetime buffers, filers and they made me get FUNGUS! I'm really upset that I had to spend money on medicine and my nails aren't done because of the fungi. They are so careless. I doubt they decinfect their tools because I sae all their filers are so beat up. I get excited when I see high yelp reviews. This place was "A-OK." Small place in a Citrus Heights strip mall. Pro's: - They were able to accommodate two pedicures that day (it was my friend's bday) - massage chairs - relatively inexpensive. $20 for a pedicure, $25 for "deluxe" pedicure, etc... - Staff was friendly enough and smiled a bit more than normal places. - Looked like they had a sterilizer to sterilize their tools - They give you disposable slippers to wear after your pedicure and let you sit under a foot dryer thing. Con's: - Could be a bit cleaner. Found the massage table trays sticky and floor around the chairs had hair, etc. - a lot of the colors looked like they were almost out and had been around for awhile I'm not a pedicure expert by any means. We usually only go when a friend has a baby :). So, it's about once a year. This place was fine, better than average, I guess, but just found it could use a good cleaning. We chose the $25 upgraded package. 1) Pick your color 2) Foot soak in a large massage chair 3) He didn't trim my nails, since they were pretty short 4) Trim cuticles (kind of hurt, but maybe they all do) 5) Buff area w/ sugar scrub 6) upgraded seaweed masque 7) upgraded hot stone foot/leg massage. This actually kind of hurt. I've had surgery on my ankle, so maybe that's why (duh!), but I didn't find the pressure of the stones on my bones relaxing. Would probably skip this next time 8) Rough towel rub down of feet/legs 9) I believe they applied a base coat, but I was busy talking w/ my friend, was wasn't paying attention too much. 10) Nail color, and I believe top coat? Chatting too much! 11) Disposable slippers, then dryer time in the front of the store This place reminds me a bit of a "Happy Day Spa." Not fancy, but it gets the job done. I guess I was expecting more from their high yelp reviews. Not bad, but just not my favorite. Was surprised by the amount of men and their wives in there. Guess it makes a good date! read more

This was our first time come in for a pedicure and manicure for both my daughter and I. I was very disappointed when it came to the manicure. They were running late to start so the lady that did my pedicure started and that was fine at first. She soaked my nails for about a minute and proceeded to push and cut my cuticles without even using cuticle oil. I asked for my nail tips painted white, which they did but didn't tell me there was an extra charge. Which I am fine paying but should be informed first. She smudged the tips and I asked if she was going to fix them before she cures them under the black light, she agreed. However I discovered she did not fix them so I have lines all over my nail bed under the gel polish I can't fix. Also the color examples are all faded so when my daughter picked a color for her nails it ended up not being the color she picked. I understand they fade but if they expect people to select a color they should update the color examples so the colors are accurate. I will not be returning. I will be choosing to go to a salon that is more consistent with their nail care. read more

I needed an acrylic fill with gel polish and Lee was my nail tech. She listened to my requests as I wanted a shape change. She took her time and shaped them exactly how I wanted them. This place is clean, organized, and although I didn't have one, gives some badass pedicures with leg/foot massages. I watched as one person after another sat down for their pedicure. This is honestly the worst pedicure I have had. The woman doing mine had clearly never done one before. I had a bruise on my leg and she actually pressed on it and kept rubbing over it and staring at me until I told her it didn't hurt! It seems like asking would have been better... I have been on the hunt for a new nail salon/ manicurist and I'm pretty sure I've found it today! Stopped in after work with out an appointment ( that's my test on how an annoying walk-in will be treated). The ladies were so sweet and accommodating, they made me feel very welcome. I asked for a pedi to just try the place out. My nail tech was Lee, she was great at her job and gives one hell of a massage. She definitely took her time and pampered my tired little feet. She finished up with a paraffin dip, hot stone massage and a great polish, all for 30$. What a deal!!! The place is clean and well maintained. I noticed they have an autoclave which means sterile tools. Yay! They also have a huge polish selection, which is great for people like me who love be to change things up.
