    Pickle pizza
    Macey M.

Staff were all friendly, food was great and it came out quickly on a busy Friday night. We got the ceviche, creamy garlic pickle pizza and fish & chips. Loved the crispness of the pizza crust and that the pickle pizza wasn't overly salty, will definitely order again. The fish & chips were awesome, huge piece of fish, cooked really well, you could tell it was good quality. While I love Sunriver beer, I was craving a margarita, they make a great one. Will definitely be back!!

pesto fries, pesto grilled cheese, tomato bisque, chicken sandwich

everything was perfect! pesto fries are a must and the strawberry cider was great too

Brew house salad with added chicken

We were stoked for Sunriver to come to Redmond but it's mediocre at best considering their food options and atmosphere for their other locations. Think glorified fast food! There is no table side service, you walk in and order food and bevvies at the counter. They do bring you your food, but water, silverware, sauces, napkins and bussing your own table is choose your own adventure. Very sterile, industrial vibe which some people dig. You really can't beat the view though, and the 'servers' are personable! Let's talk food. I ordered the Brewhouse Salad which was equivalent to a large soup bowl of mostly greens that could have used a rough chop. With the added, probably 3 oz of grilled chicken it was a very basic salad for $19. I appreciate the Oregon sourced ingredients, but guys. The whole hazelnuts. Give em a quick chop or buzz in a blender or smash with a frying pan. I was chasing those little Oregon gold nuggets all over the bowl like the ghosts chasing PacMan. I got one really nice bleu cheese crumble and that was it. Personal preference: needed more dressing. If I'm paying that much for a salad, I want all sorts of delicious toppings in every bite. My son devoured the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, which was more sweet than hot. But tasty. My husband got the order of wings (qty basic sized 8), pretty basic and needed more sauce. Even though it's not listed on the menu, you can order a side fries! The fries were nice and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Quite salty, but again personal preference. The menu does not have a la carte sides listed, nor pizza size and zero indication of a protein for the Caesar salad. I'd be surprised if you can't add some protein. They have a great Sunriver brew variety, and same with cocktails and mocktails. Their pints are $7 each which compared to other local pours, is on the pricier side. The tropical hard seltzer was quite refreshing on a 90°+ day, same with the classic Fuzztail. Unfortunately we were not impressed enough for the price point, and probably won't venture that way anytime soon.

It sits in an old storefront on what feels like a once-vibrant main street. The cozy colorful lights are welcoming. They have a larger outdoor seating area, but on the freezing cold night I visited, I opted for a seat at the small bar. There were large boisterous parties nearby, it was clearly a popular spot. The beer selection is large, with various serving sizes. Flights of 4 are only $8 here. They also had a number of bottled and can selections, even some from other breweries. The bartender was very welcoming and friendly, as were other patrons so it ended up being a fun evening of beer and fun talk. If you're a beer fan, this is a must stop in Redmond. There are also other excellent breweries within walking distance.

We really don't mind waiting for our food! However, our experience today left a bummer taste in our mouth regarding the service. We ordered three meals (salad, fries, burger, fajita bowl) and were waiting patiently when a group of two sat down well after we ordered. One of the line cooks literally came out of the kitchen, took their order directly, went back, made their food, and brought it out to them. They were very clearly friends or family of the employee. While I totally get wanting to take care of your people, their food came out 10-15 minutes before ours did. Using your position in the kitchen to completely skip the line and delay paying customers who ordered ahead of time just isn't right. We don't mind a wait, but we do mind blatant favoritism disrupting the ticket flow. Otherwise, our was really attentive, and the food was delicious.

The 7th Street location in Redmond looks like an older log cabin, with a large patio out front. It's conveniently located to downtown Redmond, easily walkable from other restaurants, bars, and breweries if you're staying nearby. Going inside, I quickly realized this was a friendly local place where people come and the bartender knows your name and order. I ordered two flights on my visit; all the beer was great. They have a number of core staples, plus a bunch of small batch beers you can read about on the chalkboard near the door. The bartender was immediately friendly and welcoming; I said it was my first time there and she told me it's the oldest not-for-profit brewery in Oregon, donating all their post-bill/payroll profits to local charities. I was also here at lunch time and ordered maybe the best tuna melt I've ever had - rich, buttery, and delicious. They have lots of beers packaged to go as well. If you're doing the Bend Ale Trail, this is a fun stop and worth venturing to Redmond for if staying in Bend.

We went during happy hour and got the fresh oysters, the pork belly, the albacore tataki, pork belly sliders, the Cuban, and the burger. We walked in to find a mostly empty restaurant (2 other tables seated). The atmosphere felt more like it was suited for a nice dinner date than a casual lunch but whatever - they're open for lunch. When I asked a friend about it later, he said he and his wife go there for dinner but had never been at lunch time. My buddy ordered the Grinder (essentially an Italian) and I ordered the Beef Sando (essentially their take on a French Dip). My buddy, who self-admittedly doesn't like focaccia, said the bread was awesome and sando in general really good. We both really enjoyed the fries, that were well seasoned in a savory and slightly sweet dusting. The abundance of fries was well appreciated as well. The beef sando was tasty and also a good portion. My only complaint was the thinly shaved beef was laid flat in layers instead of mounded on the sandwich (see pic). I hesitate to even say this, but it felt like I was eating Steak-umm. In general, the meal was good and filling. The service was good and value for price felt good.
