This business has really turned around in more recent times.... The current managing staff has really built a much better customer experience. Food has always been good/ beer great. Just need to update the rating from a few years ago - we love going here again.

If you live in Bend or are just visiting, you have to try some beer! I love Sunriver's beer and wine options. The Thingamabobber Hazy is my new favorite. You can try samples of the beer before you commit. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. This spot is big and open and has a fire pit outside. Keep in mind this place can and will get packed!

Great food! Cold beer and nice people wait on you ! My favorite is the meatball appetizer! So good! You can sit outside or inside

Sunriver brewery is the bomb, regardless of which location you choose to go to. Service is out of the bag. Beer and cider were great and we will be back.

Very friendly, personable waitress. Our food was done SUPER fast. I got the gluten free wagyu sliders (they use a normal gf bun and cut it in half). I would say the condiments are the star of this show and they used very little so I got a couple good bites but it was mostly bland. The fries were really good (not a dedicated fryer for any celiacs reading this). Loves how they were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Good fry sauce too. My son got the kids slider meal- as you can see it's nearly as big as an adult meal, which is amazing! He really liked his food!

Great food, beer, service. The atmosphere is comfortable. Portions are large. Lots of interesting beer choices with fun names.

Always a fun place to take the kids for dinner. It's fun for the entire family. There is a place for the kids to play while the adults can talk, relax and enjoy a meal.

With a GABF recognition as National Brewery for 2024, and being named Oregon's best brewery, these folks definitely know what they're doing in beer making! I'm a huge fan of Oregon beers! This family visit saw us partaking in waygu sliders, pizza and grilled flank steak with a coffee rub with whiskey maple glazed carrots - a nice blend of flavors and tastes for our varied family palate! The people were great in offering kind, easy-going service. The setting is also casual, not too noisy but lively, with its corner bar, open kitchen and solid wood picnic benches you feel right at home. Even on a Wednesday night Bend top spots like these fill up with the outdoorsy crowd coming in from a mountain hike, biking and lovely fall days. I'd definitely make this a top spot for any beer aficionado!

Amazing service!! Food was delicious and loved the vibe of the brewery. Loved the brunch, will definitely be back!

Food was delicious!! The pizza had the right balance of crust to toppings and the texture of the crust was my favorite; light and airy with the perfect chew. The grilled chicken with the salad was also very good. However, the server was not the most kind as she forgot us at one point and something was a bit off with how she acted. Still a nice spot for a drink and good food.

Sunriver is one of the stalwarts of the Bend brewing scene with a popular pub on Galveston as well as their flagship pub down in Sunriver. I understand they have a location in Eugene as well - haven't been there. With the demise of Jackson's Corner east, this location opened up and Sunriver has done a good job converting it to a brewpub. - Large open interior space with many tables, including for larger groups. The bar itself is fairly small though. - Nice covered outdoor space. - Great ambiance, not loud. - Beer is among Central Oregon's best. - Solid pub menu. The fish and chips are top tier. - Good service, including through a shift change. - Easy location with ample parking. - Prices are in line with the current market. A great addition to not only the east side of town but Bend in general. Recommended.

After eight years, Crux is overdue for a review update. Biggest reason is that quite a few years…read moreago they expanded the place significantly, opening up the large room to the right of the bar that opens into the outdoor area. That room is equipped with restrooms, relieving one of my major complaints about a lack of facilities, as well as a second serving station complete with taps. Since then, Crux has significantly changed the outdoor area as well although I'm not certain it's an upgrade. It's a little too landscaped and way too much like a playground now. Locals have always tended to refer to Crux as 'daycare but with beer.' The last several times I've come here, the second serving station has not been in operation even though it looks to be still fully functional. Meanwhile the line to the bar serving stations is often long, sometimes almost out the door. Not sure why that is, doesn't make sense to have the capacity to more efficiently serve customers but not use it. All that said, the beer is still stellar and they continue to have a wide range of beer choices, the new(ish) large room has plentiful high-top seating (mobility challenged folks will need to venture outside), and the music is kept below ear-splitting volume. You can also sit at the bar itself although the vibe there isn't great - it's not like a neighborhood pub bar. Crux still has a kitchen. I used to order directly from them but have since transitioned to patronizing one of the several food carts outside. Being food carts, they tend to come and go so I'll not go into detail there. That said, the new Alpine Smash burger is fabulous. The other significant change in recent years has been with the location. A dispute with the property owners to the west resulted in the access road that way being closed, requiring Crux patrons to use the road coming from Second/Scott Street (or ride a bike). The west road is now open, maybe because the Jackstraw housing complex over that way is now completed and the road serves their tenants. RIP Spoken Moto.
