The company hosting the seminar covered the cost of our room, so we did not pay for it. The property itself is large and sprawls on either side of the river. We stayed on the second level, with a balcony overlooking the river, which was really nice! The hotel is from the 1970's, but it seemed nicely maintained and the room was very clean. Amenities I appreciated were the dual bathroom vanities, comfy chair, refrigerator, and USB charging ports on the wall. The room itself was generously sized. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was fine (not terrible, but not amazing). One thing I really missed having in the room was a microwave to reheat leftovers or coffee...I was surprised by the absence of this common amenity. As stated earlier, we didn't pay for this room. I looked up pricing, and the base rate seemed relatively reasonable. However, they tack on a 19% "amenity fee" that raises the rate quite a bit, along with the usual transient taxes by state and local governments. Even though I found our stay here to be enjoyable, I don't think I'd pay the rate they're charging overall for that same room. Although the river view was nice, I think I'd skip it and save some money. If their rates are acceptable to you and you value a riverside view, it's absolutely a nice hotel to stay at. All of the staff we encountered were very kind, too. I can't really say anything negative about our experience here! I would have given it a five star review, but I find the final room rate to be too expensive and having a microwave would have been appreciated.

It was photographed perfectly to imply that we were renting an entire house not a unit. We ended up with a studio that looked like a converted garage. The view of the river was from under the deck from the apartment above. The walls were paper thin and the guests above stomped all night. There was a hot tub. However it was for private use for another unit. The kitchen was disgusting. There was mold in the coffee maker. I though the stove was going to catch the place on fire. We stayed here in August 2014 and it was nice to bring thr dog. However, when expecting a river front home with a hot tub and gourmet kitchen we got a dive motel room. If I knew this is what we were getting I wouldn't have reserved the place.

I left the apartment in much better shape than when I moved in and even sealed up the rodent entry points with steel wool. The property is overcrowded with over 8 other renters sharing other portions of the house. The entire place is surrounded by a 5'+ privacy fence likely to keep the neighbors from complaining as it is a residential neighborhood in Sunriver.

It was at the tail end of winter, with cold nights and wet days. Rooms have gas fireplaces, with outdoor seating and porches for warmer weather. Checkin was great in the main lodge. They had many friendly employees. There's a bar and restaurant here that I didn't have time to visit! The grounds have paved trails all over, with quick walks or bike rides to restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They have a free shuttle that can get you around to places quicker too! My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time! For the event we had catered amazing meals of local produce and meats, so many flavorful items. The event spaces all have a lodge feel to them as well, comfortable. Woo-hoo! What a hoot! Spent a weekend in Bend with friends, g/f suggested that we take a ride…read morewith Outriders. Although a bit cautious, it sounded like fun and we signed up. Interestingly, our friends had tried to sign up the next morning but were told that "they'd see what they could do" because apparently Outriders only runs a limited number of 4x4's per trip. But, we found out later that day that they'd added one vehicle to the run and we were all good to go. Launch point was about a 15 minute drive from our friends in S. Bend. Just a turnoff on a forest trail off of the road, we spotted our guide and vehicles and got situated. Helmets were fitted, and we were given a clean set of instructions from Jason, our guide. And off we went. We'd signed up for the two-hour run and honestly, about 15 minutes in, I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it. It was a bit of a ride, even given the soft suspension of the 4x4's. However, it's hard to deny the beauty of the surroundings and the smiles on our faces. We got up to the top of a bluff whose same I don't recall - Sugar Bluff, maybe? - and stopped for a bit. Jason gave us a status check and a bit of history and geography info. He's very informative, and easy to talk to, very willing to answer questions. From there we headed through the forest to our next stop, some lava fields. Again, a bit of history, very informational about the age of the rocks, and some interesting facts about plant growth in relating to the lava rocks age. All in all, this was a heck of a ride. Up and down, bouncing all around, noisy, only a bit of dust (we were lucky that day so be forewarned if you do this during a dry spell). There are other options available, we're seriously considering one of them for our next trip to Bend. Don't forget to tip your guide!

The second day we were there the smoke detectors went off warn us that they needed batteries. I called the Bennington office and in less than an hour our problem was fixed! Best of all we had to leave early on our last day and I left my bank bag with over $500.00 cash in it beside the bed in the small dresser.When we go home and everything unpacked no money bag.I sent a text that next morning to the housecleaning crew and asked them to check and see if was there. I left them all my information and they called me and said it was there and they put it in the mail for me. I offered them $100.00 to buy some pizzas for the crew and they said they appreciated the offer but couldn't do that. My happiness is all they needed. We stayed less than 12 Hours, We booked a 11 day vacation over the Christmas Holiday which was disappointing, They property was filthy, a very bad odor, missing Window Blinds, No locks on window had sticks in the bottom of the casements, the dishes and utensils unusable, The stove started smoking when we tried to make some tea, Missing light bulbs, couch filthy, no Internet or TV and mold in the windows, bathroom didn't look like it had ever been cleaned. These weren't just little things the place was uninhabitable. But the biggest betrayal came when their so called representative showed up 12 hours later, he refused to even enter different rooms of the property to address our concerns, He laughed when I turned on the stove and it started smoking, the only resolve he offered was a full refund which they reneged on 2 hours later, Go Figure Nobody in the right mind would rate this place above 1 Star, more like -10 .
