Fish tacos just delicious! Topped with a mountain of fresh mango salsa!! Yum I'll be dreaming of these all winter. Live music had me grooving one of my fav places in OOB!

Fun, upbeat, great cocktails and food. We were able to sit on the patio on an unusually warm Friday. It was a welcome treat after an unusually long ride. The server was a delight and they managed to make a simple burger taste special.

Food was pretty good, a little bland. Long wait, but good overall ambiance and experience.

Tuna special with fresh salsa, wasabi and seaweed salad. I'm hoping this makes the everyday menu so I can enjoy it again and again!

Excellent everything-service, food, drinks, entertainment. Under new ownership this year-Beth is awesome and her staff is, as well- kitchen, bartenders and servers. The best tuna dish I've ever eaten! Please put it on the everyday menu! Steak tips, blackened haddock sandwich and chicken tenders were expertly prepared. Did I mention the cocktails? Cold and tasty...and strong! We went for early dinner and stayed for the evening. Our servers kept us and the entire place happy! (You know who you are!) Check out Sunset Bar and Grill. You'll be glad you did!

My husband and I decided to return to Sunset bar and Grill before we went back home from Maine. He really enjoyed the single lobster last time and this time he ordered a twin lobster. Their pricing is really good compared to others. The single lobster was $31 and if you get the twin lobster it's $42. I noticed that they had a vegetable burrito on the menu and people could add protein if they like. It was pretty disappointing to me. It says it comes with pumpkin rice and black beans cheese mango pico de gallo. It's supposed to come with salsa and sour cream. When I received it, there was no sauces. It was mostly white rice and counted four black beans in the entire thing. I thought it was a rice and bean burrito. Salsa on the side. That was delicious. I actually just ate it out of the little container. They definitely need to make this burrito more even and not full of white rice and no black beans or other flavors.thank you for making options for vegetarians, but we need to do better.

The food here has quickly become some of my favorite in OOB. I recently had the sunset salad with salmon, which was one of the best salads I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. The service is always friendly, and drinks are always cold.

Might be good after 8 drinks. Very slow service so get the drinks somewhere else before going. Good music though!

Our waiter was personable and prompt. However my dish was the shrimp tacos and had more stuff in it than shrimp, so I just ate the shrimp.

We grabbed a couple seats near the piano player after ordering drinks at the bar. I had the Lavender Lemon Drop and it was ice cold and delicious. We also tried the Death Drop Martini, which was just as good. It was made with Casamigos Mezcal, passionfruit liqueur purée, fresh lime, and a tajin rim. The female pianist was incredibly talented, the crowd was friendly, and the atmosphere made it easy to hang out for a while. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

Calamari was crispy, but not very seasoned. Decent sweet potato fries. Server was attentive but zero personality. Dining space was nice, much quieter vibe than upstairs. Second floor is where the piano bar is, first come first served, and the line moved quickly. It was lively, a bit of a cluster. Piano player did a good job catering to Millennials to Boomers, even mashing up a bit between the Killers, Kings of Leon, and Blink 182, which was cool. But the bartender was a miss, very hasty - drinks were poorly mixed and he broke 2 glasses while we were seated at the bar, yikes!

Super cool dude and his counterpart serving tables was equally friendly and down to earth. The place was welcoming on the inside with sort of an open concept kitchen kind of vibe, with lots of outdoor seating as well. Ever on the prowl for a fun cocktail bar, we were excited to check out a place that was a James Beard nominee (though the last one was in 2017 and the accolades seem to all be 4+ years old at this point). My wife opted for the Pimm's Cup. We don't really have Pimm's by us so it seemed like a fun thing to try. It was a really refreshing and flavorful drink with some fruitiness and acidity. Really tasty and well-balanced. After speaking with Matt, I shared with him my love of rum, to which he responded by sharing with me a creation he's been tinkering with that is currently off menu. It was a really fun rum drink with some Jamaican (actually Fijian) funk, a little fruitiness, a little acidity, and just a touch of bitterness. It was a really enjoyable drink with lots of layers and really refreshing after a hot summer day. All in all, a really cool place to check out and have a beverage or two. Definitely going to get that rum-infused espresso martini next time too!

Okayyyyy Big Daddy's!…read more I ordered the Peach Bacon Glaze Burger with lots of cheese and caramelized onions, cooked medium, and BABYYYY... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! First of all, this burger was HUGE! I could only eat half and once I was FULL. The combination of the sweet peach bacon glaze, melty cheese, caramelized onions and that perfectly cooked burger was EVERYTHING. This was definitely the star of the meal. I also ordered the Jalapeño Hush Puppies. Now, those? Not really my thing. I didn't care too much for them, but thankfully the burger more than made up for it. I sat at the bar because it was pretty busy, and even with the crowd, customer service was AMAZING. Everybody was friendly and attentive. The ambience is cool. Definitely gives bar/pub vibes, and while the inside is on the smaller side, it still works for a casual date night, drinks and a good meal. Bathrooms were clean too, which is always a plus! And one thing I can say about Big Daddy's is that the food is consistently good. This isn't my first time having a great meal here, and it won't be my last. Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY! Would I order that burger again? BABY, I wouldn't even need to look at the menu! Overall: Great food, great service, cool atmosphere and consistent quality. Definitely worth a stop when you're in Old Orchard Beach!
