Brand new summer, but I love this restaurant and come back repeatedly every year. The asparagus. Tart is amazing, appetizers, and entrées. They have the best meal deals around. The Staff is extremely friendly and if you are lucky enough to get Tracy, you've hit the lottery of waitresses, her mom is the one that bakes the asparagus tarts fresh every day and when they're gone, that's it for that day. My daughter had the steamers which were a huge pile of large steamers with a salad and a cup of French onion soup. I myself had the fresh shelled lobster appetizer. This is a whole lobster, lazy man style with hot butter. My husband had the 12 ounce sirloin steak with baked potato. For drinks, my daughter had a lemon drop martini and my husband got a bucket of beers. There are four beers in a bucket. This is a great value because if you don't finish them, they give you tokens to use for your next visit. So you can use them at any time through the season. I suggest if you have the opportunity to visit this restaurant, I would definitely take advantage of it and you can always tell Tracy that Debby sent you. Every time I come up to Old Orchard Beach, my family and I stop here! It's no frills, but a solid, straightforward meal. Everything is reasonably priced with portions that will leave you full. Once you walk in, you feel like you've been transported back in time. Old school decor, your classic American restaurant. On the menu, they have an option for a 3-course meal. They have various options to choose from for a fixed price! It's great . My only complaint about it is that they used to have steamers as an option for an appetizer in the fixed 3 course meal, and it is no longer included. I decided on clam chowder, Caesar salad, and stuffed shrimp. I enjoyed the salad, and the stuffing for the shrimp was buttery and rich, but the clam chowder was terrible. No vegetarian makin dish which is to be expected; sadly my fried and onion rings were soggy and greesy. My s/o and I went to Bell Bouy and we weren't really impressed. The food was pretty good. My other half got the single lobster and fries and said it was delicious. I got the 3 course meal with chowder, Caesar salad, and shrimp linguine with mushroom cream sauce. The flavor was good in all of our dishes, but the service was terrible. At the end the bill came out to $50, we put 35$ in cash and a card in her book, and she took the book and came back. She came back with a uncomfy look on her face said "oh I'm sorry, did you want me to run the cash?" And we responded yes, and then she proceeded to tell us that it was too late, she didn't see the cash and she had already ran the card through. Then she proceeded to say it was our fault we didn't tell her. She was very rude about it and didn't seem to care and walked away before we could fix it. My boyfriend and I are both servers and we never leave less than 20% but today we broke that rule because she was so cold towards us and seemed like she was too busy to care. Overall, if you're looking for good food, Bell Bouy is definitely worth the money but don't expect 5 star service to go along with a 5 star quality meal. read more

There's a simplicity here, bread basket and a solid meal. No foodie bullshit, if you have an allergy you figure shit out for yourself, well vodka and sodas in a pint glass that makes your hair stand on end and tartar sauce. Seafood seemed fresh and decent quantities. Not extremely cheap but they also aren't lifting your wallet. Again, this is not some fancy joint and Gordon Ramsay is a fucking hack. My wife suggested trying the "fresh lobster meat" lazymans. I asked the waitress if it was truly fresh lobster meat as stated in the menu. Her answer confirmed what the menu said. We had a terrible experience here. If they have AC, it wasn't on or doesn't work. It was clearly a "local" place and the bar was full of people who clearly weren't socially distancing. They put up plywood and plastic sheets to the ceiling in between each booth which was not smart as there is no air circulation. No need to have them go that high. Some waitresses had masks and some wore funny shields that didn't do anything to prevent spread of COVID.
