Great service, awesome seared sesame tuna, fattoush salad with prawns, after pita, hummus and falafel. My husband had the 9 hour bolognese and the blueberry crumble. The outside dining was excellent with so many eclectic things to look at and marvel at, too. Like the antique motors atop the fence and the baseball bat bench, to pique your interest. We will return as we met friends there and it seemed halfway between Cumberland and Kittery. A lovely suggestion by our friend's foodie friend Deb.

Fun, funky venue for eating, drinking and live music! Hang out on Adirondack chairs listening to music while you wait for a table. Food good, portions, not too big. Not a whole lot for vegetarians but I made do with some side dishes. .

Had a late lunch here with my friend this past weekend. The place was fairly full, but we were able to get 2 seats at the bar. The bartenders/servers were super nice and attentive - I think we had Olivia and Alastair. I love a good chicken pot pie, and the Bitter End's did not disappoint. I got a heads up that the topping was puff pastry instead of a standard pie crust, but I preferred it that way. The filling was hearty and delicious without being too thick or overwhelming. It had the perfect amount of puff pastry, which was fluffy and fresh. My friend got the bolognese, which she loved. My only regret was not having enough room for the brussel sprouts - they looked and smelled amazing. Next time!

I love this restaurant. Owner and staff are awesome. Menu is limited. I recommend the chicken pot pie and spaghetti and meat balls. Eat outside and enjoy the landscape. motor motors and wooden boats. Pets are allowed in outside dinning. My grand nephew love to play yard. Lots of things to climb on.

Surprised I haven't tried nor heard of this place before! Excellent service, everyone was super friendly, possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had. I asked for Parmesan truffle fries instead of chips with the lobster roll, 10/10.

This place is amazing, so rustic to the vacationland theme, food is excellent, the service is friendly and easy, I've been here before and always enjoy my time. Indoor and outdoor seating I primarily sat outdoors.

One thing that really stands out at The Bitter End is the ambiance: there's always a band playing, ample outdoor seating, and lively conversation happening. As for the food and drinks, we were not disappointed! I had never had roasted cod in a red sauce before, but it was a delicious combo. The other entrees we ordered were the burger, fish and chips, and a pulled pork sandwich, which everyone enjoyed. I'd definitely recommend trying the truffle parm fries too! We ended up waiting an hour for our table, but the time flew by as we ordered drinks, relaxed in their chairs, and listened to the band. Don't let the wait deter you!

Fisherman's Catch has continued to evolve since changing hands a few years ago. The interior space…read morewas renovated, the restrooms were moved to make the indoors dining space bigger and another outdoor dining space was created. They've recently instituted a 4 course lobster bake, which we have yet to try. The staff are still lovely, the service is good and the food is excellent. They're one of the best at making fried seafood. I had the whole belly clams and scallops today and they were cooked perfectly, with accompanying crispy fries. Even the coleslaw was great. Didn't have the chowder today, but it's reliably excellent. The only negative is the use of disposables plates, cups and utensils. The combination of food and ambience makes Fisherman's Catch a not to be missed restaurant. It's usually our first meal after arriving in Ogunquit. For the comb

First off, the service staff was excellent! Very friendly staff and they were in top of cleaning…read morethe place and were all smiles. The problem is the prices. I mean come on, 35.99$ for a lobster roll!!?!? And not only that but it was super small. Literally 3 bites and it was gone and I was still hungry. It didn't even come with fries, just a small bag of chips and a quarter of a pickle. I would understand 25$ because we're eating out but 35.99$ is highway robbery. Thank God I opted for adding bacon to the lobster roll bc it made it seem a tiny bit bigger but for 36$ I expected double the size and a side of fries. I doubt there was a lb of lobster on it and if there was, it was weighed down by the mayo.

The highlight for me is, without question, the two-foot lobster roll. It's huge, loaded with fresh lobster from end to end, and served on a perfectly soft sub roll. Every time I order it, I'm reminded why I keep coming back. It's not just a novelty because of the size. It's genuinely delicious, generously filled, and an incredible value for the amount of lobster you get. It's easily one of my favorite lobster rolls anywhere. The restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that's great for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxed meal. The staff is consistently kind and attentive, and Barb always stands out. She's warm, friendly, and genuinely makes guests feel appreciated. It's refreshing to find a place that's been so consistent over multiple visits. Great food, generous portions, and people who clearly care about their customers keep me coming back. If you're in the area, don't leave without trying the two-foot lobster roll!

Broccoli needed seasoning and that leads to my next issue. Not good leadership in the dining room, salt and pepper shakers did not match and were filthy and empty. Service was ok. She was scattered and took a couple of tries to get water and had to flag her down to pay the check. Older blond lady. Overall ok.
