    Three Egg Plate $9.99
    Chris S.

Big open floor, close to half of the restaurant was full. Service was decent. Eggs were actually really good, hashbrowns were fresh for the most part. Sausage was surprisingly good and flavorful. Then the toast was decent. It wasn't crisp how I typically like my sausage and hashbrowns but it was fresh & didn't taste like frozen food. I would go back again if in the area. If service was better I would say it's a four.

Philly steak omelet with hash browns and side of biscuit and gravy.

Big fluffy omelets, huge serving of hash browns, pancakes that would make mom jealous, thick strips of bacon and sausage the way it should be.

Early on there had been some shape-shifting from mini-bodega for the entrance lobby, but they've settled into this current mode as a wine bar. For my food: I ordered the salmon breakfast, which comes with a 'jammy egg,' and a latte breve. I had asked for my drink in a mug but received it in a glass. I have a personal preference for my meal to be deconstructed. I hadn't seen a picture of this dish else would have instructed had I been aware. I like to cut open my own egg and tear apart my own fish. (That... will likely be a standard request for all restaurants in the future--deconstruct.) I like the salt flakes and fennel on the eggs and don't know whether I'd've gotten them deconstructed The salmon seems (to me to be) more 'baked' than 'smoked:' The service was pleasant and charming.

I love the trendy laid back atmosphere, both inside and it includes a nice patio space. I noticed several people either dining with others or doing some reading or work on their computers, quite an endorsement of how relaxing the environment is. I had the Breakfast Sammy, which was absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted quite fresh and each component was really nailed. My wife went with The Dagwood which she loved as well. Friendly staff to boot. I can definitely see us returning here soon.

Our reactions were mixed. Apparently now they are doing mostly catering so they relocated the…read morerestaurant portion of their business to next door of the old location and only have a few tables. Sunny and pleasant, but small. Large menu, but the food was inconsistent. The onion rings and fried ravioli were a hit as well as the fresh and colorful salads. Lemon chicken was fresh and tasty and could be a good option for someone watching calories or for a catered plate. Chicken-fried steak and the Rueben were both described as "okay, but I've had better." Potato soup was strangely sour and elicited scrunched faces from the four people who tried it. We didn't try the pies on this trip, but I hear that they are excellent and they certainly looked delicious. I think there is a lot of potential here, but it depends on what you order. I thoroughly enjoyed my spinach mushroom salad. The flavorful chicken breast was an excellent addition and the bacon tasted very high-quality. Paired with the tomato vinaigrette it was a delightful meal.
