They will tell you the wait is 25 minutes you can expect more like 50 minute wait. When they do tell you your table is ready they tell you to wait longer inside. They never have accurate wait times. We had about a 30 minute wait for a table on a Saturday at 1pm. Some tables are on an enclosed patio, but I was glad to be seated indoors because it was pretty cold today. There are heaters, and they offer blankets if you are seated on the patio. The food was good. The biscuits and gravy were really good. I would order that if we go back when in the area again. The food was very tasty. I had the Highway 45 and my wife had the Farmers Fruit Cake. Both were excellent and I'm glad we got two very different entrees. We were served by Adam, who was very informative and shared that ingredients are 70% local and he tries to get it to 90%. The flavor of the fruit was particularly evident and because he recommended our choices, if we didn't like them, he would accommodate us with something else. The atmosphere was farmhouse comfortable complete with authentic vintage decor. We were seated and served in a very reasonable amount of time. We were checked on with appropriate frequency. This is an adorable place to visit for brunch in the area. The feel just makes you want to order a craft coffee and stay a while. The food was as expected and the coffee I mentioned before was well worth the price. My only draw back was the wait. We are comfortable waiting for a table but after getting on the list we were told he could not give us an estimated time. I understand the time can vary and not wanting people to get their hopes up. BUT I did not expect to wait over an hour when there was only one person in the waiting area. The thick-cut bacon was super yummy--crispy, full of flavor and meat like I like it. The breakfast potatoes were also great: well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The pancake had a fresh, homemade quality that really stood out in a good way but not necessarily the best I've ever had. I asked for my eggs scrambled soft, but they came out like they'd been on gym bender for two weeks (hard). I like eggs multiple ways so it's not the end of the world, but definitely something I noticed. Service-wise, our server was really friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. That said, the overall wait time was a bit slow, especially considering it wasn't too crowded. It may just be a reflection of where things are these days with getting good help after Covid. Bonus points for the ranchero beans I sampled from my wife's plate--those were reeeaaalllyyy good. Full of flavor and just the right amount of zest. I'd definitely consider ordering them next time. What a great spot. Yes, it does get a little crowded on the weekends, but it is worth the wait. I was here Saturday over Columbus Day weekend and what an experience. The bloody Mary was flavorful. I did request it without Tajin, but the initial one came with tajin, and the waiter quickly resolved it and brought me a fresh one. For my brunch, I ordered off the ala carte menu, a biscuit, sausage gravy and a over easy egg. The food came out with in 10 minutes, and the biscuit was flakey and buttery, perfect consistency. The sausage gravy was hot and did not need any salt or pepper, it was flavored just right. My egg was cooked to my order with a runny yolk, which created the perfect food lube. This spot has become a little tradition for our family. We love the Lavender lemonade or some coffee, good food and time to just visit with each other. The food is wonderful. As a celiac I have eaten here a few times and not felt sick after so I feel they take food allergies seriously. There are also very accommodating to modify menu options if possible. On this day there was a lot of open seating and it was a nice day so I sat on the porch. There is indoor, outdoor and deck seating and it is a very nicely done location. I had to wait awhile to order but got the chicken salad sandwich with chips. It took a little while for the food to come out and I was a bit surprised. This sandwich had less chicken salad than any sandwich I may have ever ordered and I eat this sandwich a lot. The quality was good but the sandwich left me wanting a LOT more.
